I hunted and hunted for chairs with an industrial look to them and they were all just way over my budget. I was super-excited to find these at such a low price. It also made me a bit leary. However, I got them and they look great. Keep in mind, that the seat part of the stools are a hard plastic, despite looking like metal in the picture. But they still look good. The rest of the stool is a heavy feeling metal, though, and feels like they'll last for a long time. see less

The chair is nice, but when you assemble it and sit on it the pneumatic cylinder button release lever hasn't any room but on the button which leaves the seat and back support in a state of either going down or no adjustment for height.The hole that the tower and button fit(underneath the seat) into needs to be deeper or more space to allow the lever and button to operate properly. [..........................]. Yes, it probably voids my warranty but I didn't want a refund or send it back for another chair. see less

Construction and use was fine. I purchased this task chair in a store and assembly was pretty typical for other chairs I have bought. So 5 months in I sit on the chair and I hear a snap. Now I'm not heavy mind you, I'm 5'11" and weigh 160 pounds. Lo and behold I look underneath the chair to see if there's any warranty and on the label it says the chair is not designed for people who weigh more than 150 pounds. Well then, it would have been nice to know that before I bought the chair. Considering how many Americans do indeed weigh more than 150 pounds and it's not like I'm overweight for my height. I didn't stand on the chair, I just sat down like I normally do. [...] see less

I bought this for my teenage son's rooom. The back and seat are molded plastic with a metalic finish. I got the red and it's a perfect accent color. The seat adjusts up and down. He loves it! Screw on the bottom side to hold the back of the chair to the seat of the chair go through the cushion within 3 months time. To be able to use the chair, must buy a separate seat cushion thick enough to overcome this screw going too far up into the chair issue. All other aspects function properly though would like to see the seat of the chair to sit up at a higher level than where it max level is at. Ideally, I would like to see it at about 30" rather than it's max height of about 20". see less

My daughter bought this chair for her daughter and I was requested to put it together. The chair went together fine and I didn't have any issues until I got to the last step of putting the seat on the seat post. At that point, we learned there is a 150lb weight limit restriction on the chair. Fortunately, my granddaughter does not weigh 150lbs yet, but she is the only person in the house who can sit on this chair. I double checked the package to see if the weight limit is listed on the box and it is not. DO NOT BUY THIS CHAIR IF ANY USER WEIGHS OVER 150LBS! see less

However, I realized that the 20-30 dollar savings wouldn't make up for an uncomfortable 8 hour day that would turn into an uncomfortable night.
