Bought this lantern last spring to hang in our new arbor.... Since we had anchored it to the top rail of the arbor, we did not take it in when we took other summer stuff in. Well, this little light worked all winter - in the gray, snowy northeast- and is still burning now that spring is making its debut. Bought this lantern at the local Target store for a Memorial Day camping trip. We used this as our hanging lantern inside the tent and it is great. The light that it produces is not like your typical LED light. It casts a wide area of light that enables you to see inside the entire tent. We bought a D ring carabiner to hang this overhead in the tent for an area light and it worked great. It's very lightweight and compact. Nice bonus is that the BATTERIES ARE INCLUDED. see less

I bought this solar lantern this afternoon at the local Target Store. The problem I have run into with this lantern is a lack of instructions. Their are no instructions as to how to operate or set it up. I think that somehow the top should be removed but, I don't want to damage the lantern trying to twist off the cap. If I can't get it to work I will have to return it. Disappointed KIM see less
