I had a mouse problem a couple years ago and I struggled with deciding how to go about getting rid of them. I refused to use the regular traps, they are messy, aren't a guaranteed kill and I have a kid, which is also why I didn't want to use poison. The sticky traps are torture and the mice would never go in the round traps I bought. I was hesitant to but this because of the price, but I liked that it was reusable and humane. I smeared peanut butter in the back and within an hour or two saw the light flashing, I'd caught my first mouse. I took it outside, opened it over the trash can and dumped it. Didn't have to see it, and it didn't suffer. I ended up catching a bunch over the next 3 days, then never saw the trace of mice again. This trap does the trick, and humanely, which is the best part.
