I'm glad the first reviewer mentioned that this stand was sturdier than it appears or I might not have bought it. It's actually very sturdy and I couldn't be happier with it. I have been looking for some time for a three-tiered plant stand for herbs, but most I have come across are [...] dollars. This looks great on our patio and is the perfect size for an herb garden. It took my husband about 10 minutes to put together. see less

I bought this in the store on 3/16/13. It comes in a box but when I got it home my son put it together very quickly. It is sturdy and holds about 9 plants. I am using it inside but the wire is thin and once the plants are in it , it looks very nice. Would reccommend and a good price. see less

Delivery was quick on two urns for our front entrance. The quality is excellent and they are solid and sturdy, despite the heavy rain and strong winds we have had recently. They look very nice with my plants installed and they offer a warm and welcoming impression of our home. I had looked in a number of stores and websites before finding these, seeking a lower price,but I am satisfied with what I spent as these are a nice as I had hoped to find. see less

I received my planter today and I'm so excited to plant flowers in it and place it outside my front entry door. This planter is solid, not cheap at all. The color, clean lines and size are exactly what I wanted. After doing research on-line, this was the better choice for the money. Others may have been less in price, but not well made. i can only comment on this planter in terms of how it works indoors. i have it holding a big plant in my entryway and it looks like a million bucks. i spent ages looking all over the internet for something with a concrete looking finish that didnt look cheap and wasn't going to cost me [$], like the fabulous restoration hardware ones. this is great! im so happy with it. see less

This is a great planter. It is very sturdy and roomy. You can plant a tomato and up to 4 other plants upside down, and other plants on top, which is very deep and has a lot of room. Very easy to put together. Perfect for my deck! see less

When I went to the Target website they were listed as being unavailable, but I was given the option of being informed when they would be. A month later I received an email informing me that the planters were in stock and I promptly placed an order for two. They arrived a week later and were even better than advertised. I LOVE these window boxes - got one in 4' and the other in 3' - for the price you can't beat it. I've been to nurseries that charge twice the price, and this is solid copper liner w/iron frame. The depth is perfect and so is the width - I was able to plant a nice grouping of showy annuals.One comment - I would have marked this 3 stars b/c they both arrived a bit dented at the corners, however all I had to do is email Target about this issues and they offered to do a free exhange OR discount the product 20% - I selected the latter and couldn't be happier with this superior customer service.Bravo Target!From a previous loyal S&H customer before they went out of business :( see less

I lost my beloved best friend and sidekick, Sweet Pea, a 12-1/2 year old Cockerpoo last week to a tumor. I was really torn as to what to get to keep her ashes in and really was turned off by the thought of an "urn" of a box with a photo window. One of my best friends saw this in a candy and gift shop, of all places, and sent a link to me the very afternoon I brought her home. I almost fell out of my chair at the resemblance between Rowdy's adorable little face and my Sweet Pea's. I researched and found that Rowdy comes in a large and small size. As the large was way too big for this use, I ordered the small, and it could not be any more perfect! I now have her final documents and her in Mini-Rowdy now and will be getting a high-quality silk plant to go on top to protect her remains and fill out the look of the planter. Her collar is around Rowdy's neck and I can also say that, when I took her out of the plastic box provided [...] the dark, heavy and unhappy feeling literally left my home that had pervaded it since I brought her home and Rowdy not only gave her a dignified and appropriate resting place, but also enabled the sadnedd and heavy dark feelings to flee from my home. I am ecstatic that I found little Rowdy and am so thankful for it! see less

Received this in about 4 days and the quality was so good that we ordered another. Heavy-duty copper insert is set in a wrought iron base that attaches to any wall...will be so easy to just remove the insert to plant and then drop it into the base which stays on the wall....can wait to install it on our retaining wall. Absolutely well worth the price.... see less

I have had some of these pots for several years. They are holding up well. In addition to drilling several drainage holes in the bottom, I also drilled a couple of small holes along the rim, because I too was frustrated trying to drain the last bit of water out of empty pots. Hammering is the worst way to make drainage holes in any type of planter. see less

I am very pleased with my purchase. I wanted the look of a real clay pot without it being too heavy to lift or the worry of it breaking. I have two large outdoor dogs that have broken more than one of my old pots! Storing my pot this winter was not a worry either. I did put in my own drainage holes, which wasn't difficult at all. I would highly recommend this pot to anyone, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! see less

Technically the dimensions listed are correct, if you're measuring the outside of the planter. However, my 12 inch potted plant didn't fit into the 14 inch planter, because the internal planter, the liner, is only 10 inches. Target, please indicate the internal dimensions!! What a pain, now I have to return this item. I like it other than this, it's a very nice planter. But gave it a low score, because I cannot use it. see less

I bought two of these Stafford pots in the 14.75 inch size to hold boxwood topiaries either side of our front door. They were very well-packaged -- thick pieces of styrofoam lay between the pot and its saucer, as well as on top and underneath -- and arrived undamaged. They are a lovely, heavy quality, and the glaze has a pretty crackle finish. My personal preference was to turn the "Smith & Hawken" tag so it faced the wall, and you just see the cream and gray pot from the front. see less

In regard to the previous posts,I do the same w/ putting nail holes in bottom of planters.Works great! I was also having my metal outdoor decor rusting due to rain,etc.I have started spray painting everything I put outdoors w/clearcoat spray paint.Easy&cheap,barrier equaling no rust! I added drainage to the planter by taking a nail and putting some holes int he bottom of pot. It was very easy. this may help the one reviewer who commented on the lack of draingage holes. see less

I love my new kitties! They are an adornment to my garden with only two drawbacks, they are showing signs of rust in less than a month, and there is no drainage in the pots so I have to dump water out of them every time it rains. Worth it for cuteness, but hard on plants in them. see less

I bought these to use in raised, intending to install them with the stakes. Instead, I found they looked just as nice as ground level planters. The stake has to be assembled, and I was concerned they might blow over in a stiff breeze. So I simply pushed the base of the basket into the ground. see less
