This is a perfect playhouse for preschoolers, it can be used inside or out. My grandchildren were thrilled and had loads of fun helping their mom put it together and then settling into an afternoon of play!! It is bright, cheerful, safe and durable. Far exceeded expectations! This playhouse is beautiful and worth the effort to build it. The house is made of nice wood with a red plastic roof, and has nice details such as a sink with hot and cold faucets, small corner shelves inside, a chalk nameplate over the front door, and cute red curtains. Recommend keep the instruction booklet for future use. After we built it we had a wind storm and the front doorknob snapped. I called the KidsKraft customer service number on the instruction booklet, and they sent me a replacement knob for free! see less

Not too hard to put together, took about 4 hours. Layed out all the pieces first. Takes 2 people to put together. The picture shows an outside tray/table attached under the window but that isn't included. And there is NO chalkboard & NO floor! Very disappointed with those two things. Also not all the screw holes line up where they should. The top triangle piece that goes over the door, my husband had to drill part of the wood away just to find the holes. Overall my daughter seems to really like it. She is 36inches tall & I think she'll have to duck to get into it next year. see less

This was a wonderful gift for my 5 year old niece who immediately wanted it set up so she could start playing. It even came with a set of markers so she didn't have to go find some. There are a ton of different graphics for kids to color so it seems like it will be a lasting interactive toy that will provide a tremendous amount of enjoyment, even once all it has been colored in. Great for all of those wanna be princesses out there! see less

I am a home daycare provider, with 2 small children of my own - and ALL of the kids LOVE this playhouse... including a rather tall 3 1/2 year old, who can stand up just fine in it. It was so easy to put together and came with food, pots and pans etc. It is a little crowded with all 4 of my toddlers in it - but it's a playhouse, not a REAL one, so I think it's okay. :) I would buy this house again in a heartbeat - the inside is so neat, with a fireplace, lamp, electrical outlet, and house plant all built in so that it looks like a real home! LOVE IT!!!!! see less

We bought this for our 1-year old son who is very fair-skinned and needs a shelter from the hot sun. We liked the different themed walls because they lend themselves to greater possiblities for imaginative play. We can spend longer outside with our son and my husband and I have almost as much fun as he does crawling through the door, tossing the ball around and playing hide and seek. We love to have slam dunk contests and kick/roll the ball into the soccer goal. As he gets older I am sure that he will have tons of fun pretending to be a drive-thru worker, a gas station attendant, and a school teacher and we don't have to spend the money buying a seperate school, fast-food restaurant and gas station. see less

We gave this to our son just before his first birthday, and he has continued to play in it every day since then (almost 2 years old). He loves the doors and windows, and likes to "fill up" his ride on toy and wagon with gas and to talk on the phone. He's also enjoying the basketball hoop (with our assistance!). He also keeps one of his chairs inside the house, and likes to draw on the black board with sidewalk chalk. He loves to eat his snack inside his house using the built in table/shelf. Definitely would buy again and recommend to others! Living in Houston, TX, having this house as a shelter for him during his summer outdoor play has been huge! see less

My daughter loved it however the roof does not stay as sturdy as it looks in the picture. Although there were no holes it still deflates a little quicker than anticipated and the roof doesn't fit the house as perfect as shown. Good product for rainy day fun but not long lasting...you get what you pay for see less

I bought this for my 2-year-old great granddaughter and for the price it is a good deal. I just could not see paying over [$] for one of the more fancy houses that they outgrow so fast. It's very cute and sweet and bigger than I expected. I would have rated it 5 stars except it took a good 3 solid hours to put it together and the doorbell did not work. Plus, changing the batteries in the doorbell would have required it to be partially taken apart. But she loves it and as I said, for the price, it is a sweet little "home" for kids. see less

Holy Smokes, just got finished and this was a major challenge to assemble. The instructions were self explanatory with simple pictures to follow but it took me over two hours. There were 50+ parts and 40 different screws. It wasn't exceptionally difficult just very time consuming. The quality is okay not fantastic. The shutters do not open and close smoothly. A small child will have difficulty with them plus the table will get in their way due to it's height. The door bell has a charming ring. I am looking forward by 16 month old waking up tomorrow morning and seeing it/playing in it for the first time. I bought this on clearance at a Target store. It was on clearance since it was an Online item only. I paid [$]. I think it's a wonderful deal for [$] but I don't know that it would be worth [$]+. see less
