LOVE this! When we transitioned my daughter into a big bed she realized she could get up any time she woke, even at the crack of dawn. This completely fixed that. Now every morning at the preset time, we hear "Woo-hoo! My clock's green, I'm awake!" from her room. And I'm proud to say we've only manipulated the wake-up time once- but we all had had a really late night after moving and desperately needed an extra hour of sleep. This clock has suited our needs just great. Our 2.5 yr old was waking up earlier and earlier. He was crabby b/c he wasn't getting enough sleep and we were struggling to get everything done in time with him up so early. My favorite function is that the green light is fully programmable-both when the light turns on, "ready to wake", and when it eventually goes off. This was important in my opinion. My niece has A DIFFERENT ONE, but the "ready to wake" light turns off after only a half hour. So if she sleeps in longer than a half hour then she's missed it. with THIS ONE it will stay on 'til the time you programmed it to turn back off--for us it's several hours after we think he'l go to bed....you know, just in case we're lucky enough to have him sleep in several hours! Lastly, I should add that I love how its either batter-powered or can be plugged in. see less

Besides a secure place to keep his money, he is able to count his money, and able to separate them based on its denomination (both paper & coins) since there are different slots available.. My kids love this cash register. They received it for a gift 2+ years ago and still love playing with it (now ages 5- girl and 7-boy) as do their friends when they come over. It talks, but it is a pleasant voice and only talks when using the register in a certain mode. The coin bank teaches them what coins they have, and there are other coin and math games. The coin bank will tell you which coins are deposited which helps them learn the coin names and values. It also "scans" products and returns a value to charge your customer. This bank was a great buy for my son. We first purchased it when he was 5 he is 7 now and it is still going strong. He enjoys being able to carry around his own ATM card in his wallet and watching his money grow with every deposit. We purchased it from a children's learning store in our area, it's great that Target is promoting this great toy. The only negative thing about the bank is when you have too many coins the ATM door will actually fall off from the weight of them. But that is easliy remedied by exchanging the coins for paper bills and popping the door back on, overall this is an excellent toy. see less

My 2 year old loves this phone, especially the message his Dad recorded for him. However, I work with children who have language delays and this phone is GREAT for them. They have started picking up the phone and babbling back, and now they are saying "hello" which NEVER happened before, They all just love how it rings for them. This is adorable! My daughter is almost 8 months old and she is thrilled to press the buttons, spin the mouse, open and close the lid. It's truly a toy that will grow with her as it teaches her colors, shapes, numbers, letters... The volume is good, not too loud, but definitely clear and easy to understand, even the Spanish. I pull it out when I am going to be on my laptop and we "work" together. I can tell she likes doing what mommy is doing. My only disappointment is that the numbers and letters are not very clear on the little screen. Perhaps if the dots had been smaller and there had been more of them to create clearer lines, but she is still hearing the numbers and seeing them on the buttons so it's not a complete visual loss. I will also say it is a terrific size and weight. She can pick it up easily and will be able to carry it around, using the handle, once she starts walking. Definitely worth the investment. see less

I ordered this present for my niece's 1st birthday. This toy was perfect. Not only was it adorable. But it came fully charged with batteries already installed. Mint condition. The concept of this toy was unbelievable. It's easy to use, colorful and educational. The best part about it was the 'mouse' it actually looks like a mouse, the pet kind. We have had this phone for about 1 year now. Works as it is intended. Still looks new even with all the kids from playgroup and my own pulling it around the whole house. Both children (4, 2) know there home phone number and the 4 year old has learned several more so they can call grandma and others. Wonderful teaching tool. The 911 feature was excellent in addressing how to use the 911 system and what to do in the event of an emergency. I bought this for my daughter's 3 year birthday. The first day, the light quit working to let you know when the phone was on. The option to record your own voice message is neat, but it was so muffled, I could not hardly hear it. I recorded it again louder and closer to the speaker and the results were the same. It would have been nice if there was an option for the phone to receive incoming calls. You can only dial out. You have to pick up the receiver, cut on the phone and then dial. Smaller children do not comprehend they have to turn on the phone on every time they pick up the receiver. They just want to pick it up and start dialing. This phone could have been designed better. I do have to say that my daughter likes this phone anyway. The best feature on the phone is the different people (prerecorded) that you can call. Still, it is not worth the expense. see less

After receiving the MobiGo 2, my 4 yo daughter couldn't wait to start gaming like her big sister. Installing the software on my laptop was easy with the included CD. After a few moments showing my daughter the basics like how to turn in on, volume control, the QWERTY keyboard and how to navigate the menu, she was off and running on her own. She quickly became obsessed with the coloring book where she learned that she could bring her pictures to life by utilizing the motion sensor by tilting the MobiGo 2. Next, she dove into the games and has been playing the Hamster Highway helping hamsters navigate the track by again using the motion sensor. The MobiGo 2 also comes with 3 free downloadable games. I browsed 17 pages of games and found three that I knew she would love. The games not only help her learn basic math, spelling and reading skills, but enhance her creativity, too! see less

We have had the original MobiGo for about two years and have purchased a number of game cartridges which my daughter has enjoyed. I liked how it had the touch screen in addition to the keyboard as my kids are used to the hands on with our smart phones. It is great to take on road trips and I was curious if the new updates were worth the upgrade. I love the more ergonomic shape, stylus, downloadable games, built-in coloring app and the ability to upload pictures for the kids to view. I love how we can still use the cartridges we have collected in the new device and that we have the option to play downloadable apps where we don't have to worry about little brother pulling the cartridge out while my daughter is playing. I don't know if I would have paid right away to upgrade our MobiGos since they are still in working order, but the updates definitely make it even better than before. Every child is different. For our child, this has been the perfect toy! Whenever I'm heading to/from daycare with her (only 8 min each way), she gets bored and starts stripping off her shoes, socks, tossing toys, etc. I keep trying to keep her engaged, but she hasn't quite learned to talk yet (songs don't have that much interest yet), and loves having something in her hands. Nana got her this phone for her 1st birthday. She absolutely loves it! Not only does it keep her engaged for her short car trips (so I don't have to re-dress her when we get to our destination), but it also keeps her from grabbing for our phones. The other day when I brought her home, she kept pressing the #4 and saying f-- before the phone said "Four." If she doesn't know her numbers through 10 from this thing before she's 18 months, I'll be surprised. My only complaint is that I can't call it when it's gone missing. :) (My daughter likes putting stuff in/under other things. I got this for Christmas for my 11 month old son who loves pressing the buttons on the phone and remote. I wanted him to have a phone of his own to play with and this was perfect. He was entranced by it. It was very effective in keeping him calm and entertained for an extended period. I'd have to say it was his "go to" toy, definitely his favorite. But the buttons stopped working after 3 months! I never had a problem with the volume being too low unless I had the TV volume on a little high at the same time and then it drowns it out of course- thats to be expected. Even though it is really disappointing about the buttons, I'm still gonna purchase another for him since he just adores it and it teaches him numbers- whats better than that? Its cheap enough to get a replacement - no biggie. Well worth all the time its kept him calm and engaged! see less

My baby is 14 months and too young to fully understand all the options of this toy, but she loves it to pieces and is great to keep her entranced while I'm showering, cooking dinner, etc. Each letter has a different character/song and she loves just hearing the letters and seeing the different characters. My son is now going on 2 years old and he has been sleeping through the night since he has been 6 months old with the help our sleep routine which includes this product. He loves it. It is so much a part of our routine that he goes to turn it on himself after his bedtime story now. Sometimes he turns it on in the middle of the day when he wants a nap. Babysitters are usually amazed at how well it triggers his sleep. We have traveled with it and he sleeps perfectly in hotels, grandmas' houses, you name it... It is very durable. We replaced the batteries once so far in a year and a half. When we put some really good batteries in (ones for digital cameras and such) the stars popped even more. There are two settings for the lights -- one where the ball just glows and changes colors, and one where the ball projects stars on the ceiling. If you don't see stars on the ceiling, check the little switch on the back of it. Some other products have fancier moving projections, but I think that this product is just simple enough to put babies to sleep without overstimulating them. The music selections are lovely classics that my son will recognize when he is older. We are registering for another one now that we have a second child on the way. That way, when we travel, we only bring one... same songs, same routine. I highly, highly recommend this product. see less

My daughter gave birth to twins, a boy & a girl, on Oct.22,2010, they are always looking around & I saw how lights & music made them very quiet & happy. I saw this toy in the online store & thought it would be the perfect gift to help her in getting them to relax at bedtime, I was exactly right!!! When she turns this on at night time they are very happy, & quiet. They love to hear the music & although everyone tells me they probably can't see the stars on the cieling yet, I beg to differ, because I see how they look up & their eyes are watching them!!! We just received this toy today in the mail, I bought it because my son loved looking at the Christmas tree lights and needed a replacement since we took it down. I was very disappointed when we put the batteries in and turned it on. Even in a pitch black room the stars are barely visible on the ceiling. You have to hold the toy 3 feet or so from the ceiling and then it is visible. We are returning this tomorrow and will put the $[...] towards something else. see less
