I ordered this item not sure I would be able to assemble it alone. The parts are clearly labeled and the screws, etc are individually bagged and labeled. It even came with the screwdriver needed. The directions are clear with pictures. This was so easy to assemble, that my 5 year old helped!Now that the cart is assembled and I have had it for a few weeks, I love it! I keep my laptop in my family room. My husband hates all the accessories to the laptop being in the family room. I hate leaving the room to go get them. This cart stores all the CDs, thumb drives, books, boxed sets [.....], etc for the laptop. I even put my digital camera, camcorder and all the parts for it in this cart, including headphones. The only problem I have with it is that it is too high, even at the lowest setting, for me to use it while sitting in my recliner. The adjustable height is nice for when I use it elsewhere because I can adjust it for the height of the chair I am in. With it at its lowest setting, my 5 year old can stand in front of it and use it comfortably. He is around 4 feet tall, so the laptop cart hits him exactly where it needs to for him to be on it while standing. The fact that it has wheels makes it easy to store out of the way when I am not using my laptop. This will come in handy when my infant starts crawling.I would definitely recommend this cart if you are looking for an easy assembly and storage for your laptop. This cart wouldn't be good for major work to be done on it. There isn't any space for you to use the top of the cart as a surface for writing if your laptop is on it. see less

The stand is as shown online. Cross frame pieces were cut too long so it is wider in the back leaving a gap by the upper shelf. Brackets for the shelf had to be removed and bent to fit. Rubber sleeve for one wheel stem is missing. If you are handy with tools and like fixing things, you might like it. For the price though, I'd check elsewhere first. see less

It is flimsy. it is not stable - it is more like a small folding table. some of the wood has cracks as shipped, apparently from the manufacturor pre-assembly. the finish is poor - it actually looks unfinished. if it wasn't so much trouble, i would return it. i regret the purchase at this point. see less

It did take two orders because the first one was defective and would not fold open, however now that I have a working desk I absolutely love it. It is great in my small apartment for my printer, laptop, and whatever else I need to fit on it. I absolutely love it, well worth the price, you won't find anything else near it online for the price. see less

This stand is lightweight to pick up and move, is attractive, doesn't take up much space, and can be folded flat when not in use. I have a fairly heavy older laser printer on the bottom shelf, a laptop on the middle shelf and it seems to be very sturdy. The height is good for sitting in a regular desk chair and working on the computer and there is a slight cutout that makes it easier to get up close without banging your shins. The stand arrived in just a couple of days and the best part-NO assembly!! It just folds out! Everytime I look at this stand I am happier with the purchase. see less

After searching for a portable laptop desk for quite sometime, I found this one and it looked to be very promising. I have a real desk at home that I use but was in real need of a portable desk. I love the fact that it folds up nicely and will fit in my laptop bag with my laptop as well!! The height is completely adjustable and the tilting part is ajustable as well. The mouse pad area is really nice because I'm not a big fan of touchpads on laptops and use a wireless mouse instead. Not many laptop desks have an area for a mouse to be used, so this feature is great. The fan is powered by simply plugging in the USB cord to your laptop, which is soooo much better than a battery operated one. It's very sturdy and everything locks into place so it won't break during travel. When the whole thing is folded up, the entire desk itself locks so it won't open up unless you press the release button. My laptop is 15.4 inches and fits just fine when fully opened and I still have plenty of room for my mouse. You don't have to use the legs on the desk unless you want/need to. I absolutely LOVE this desk. I've even used it at home from time to time. All my friends are jealous of how awesome this product is. I'm rating this a 4 because of one thing. The tilt feature dosen't work very well. Maybe my laptop is too heavy or something, but my laptop keeps sliding off. It doesn't really bother me because I don't need that feature so much. The price may seem a bit high for an item such as this one...but I feel it was money well spent. see less

Put this together last night and it was really easy because all of the parts and screws were labeled and the instructions were clear. No tools necessary since they include the two small wrenches to screw pieces together. Sturdy and nice quality for the price. see less

Everything was as described, delivery was postponed a couple times but it was not a big deal for me. It arrived in a good condition and it is not too hard to put together. The draw has a decent space and it probably would fit a couple of phone books. We put it up together and put it at a spot and never moved it. Maybe that's why I have never encountered any problems that other customers mentioned about it was weak, not stable. So far so good-- It's been there for about 2 weeks now. The only reason I took 1 star off is that I don't like the design too much-- to me, if it's a few inches shorter, and a little longer in width and length. But it's not something I was not aware of so It's a good listing. see less

It's a nice-looking, modern, laptop desk. it was easy to put together. I've been using it for a few months now and it's still stable. Pivoting the table top is easily done with moving just one knob. it's also adjustable up and down, but it's a bit harder to change the height - you need to move 2 knobs. Still, not difficult to do. This item is constructed of solid wood and is very sturdy once put together. I would recommend it. [...] This laptop cart from Target is wobbly, with numerous pieces that aren't manufactured well, including stripped screws and screw housings. The table top even has manufacturing dents, chips and other defects that would be considered extremely poor workmanship to the minimally observant.Once I completed assembly, it wobbled as if it were a 50 year old unrestored antique. I love this little desk. Perfect for reading, laptop, or studying. I love that it raises to adjust what level you want to read comfortably at. And the drawer on the side is perfect, i keep my highlighter and pen and pencil in there for when i study. As for the folding legs, those are nice too, however it would be better if they locked in place and then unlocked when you wanted to fold them. Otherwise, its a great little desk, i love it. see less
