I highly recommend this puzzle. It is very sturdy and can withstand actual play from many kids. All of the kids who play at our house eventually find this puzzle. My kids--ages 6 and 4--still enjoy it a year later.
Preschool and young grade teachers would likely appreciate this in their classrooms, as well. It is large enough for multiple kids to play/work together, and as I said, it is sturdy enough to handle it.
My daughter loves science, and I am so pleased with this purchase!
This just came today & my 5 y/o son LOVES it. He's put it together & taken it apart a dozen times, & has asked me to tell him all that I know about "these bones". I pointed to a part on the puzzle & then pointed to the same spot on his body & showed him how the joints move, etc. He's fascinated by this puzzle and has thanked me over and over again for giving it to him.
My almost 2 & half year loves puzzles. She loves this puzzle! I know its a little pricey but its well worth it. Everytime she puts a number in the puzzle it will tell her what number it is. It's not loud and annoying for parents:) My daugher did scrath off the number 10 on the puzzle she was biting on it. But other than that its been great when I baby sit the older kids still like to play with it.
