I have never been fussy about sound quality. I just wanted a basic cheap radio. But this is awful. The only station I can really tune in is the one that has a radio tower a block away from my house, and that one has a lot of static too. And it took a lot of fussing to find it, because to select 93.7 FM, the dial is pointing to around 98 or 99.
I bought a couple of these for my nieces -- they were a huge success. They are fun and colorful and the sound is not too bad either. I was surprised how well they stayed on the wall. I will definatly buy these again even one for myself.

Doesn't turn off and doesn't stick to shower its JUNK
Okay, so for about [$$] bucks I didn't expect something with great sound, or even good sound, which it doesn't have...but I did expect the suction cups to actually work...they don't. We even tried cleaning the tub. The other issue is that it won't turn off...even when the knob is clearly turned to OFF, it still keeps playing, so if you want your batteries to last at all you need to take them out, which is a problem because it requires a screwdriver and took me about 30 mins, not because I couldn't figure it out, but because the water seal fell out and I had a bugger of a time getting it to stay in place and still close the battery compartment. So, bottom line, I started with low expectations, and this product fell well below what I had hoped for. Will be returning it soon.
This little radio was quite surprising. The clarity is way better than I thought given such a small radio, but even with the volume cranked, not only is it loud, it is very clear. The controls are easy to use, even with wet fingers. The only reason I only rated it 4 stars is because on the one I received, the suction cups are not all level with each other, so it fell twice (during the night of course.) I eventually got three of them level and it has been several weeks now, and it hasn't budged. You will need to clean each suction cup with rubbing alcohol, as well as the surface you're sticking it to.Still, I would recommend this to anyone who just wants a simple shower radio.
