I bought this rash cream when pregnant, because of the five-star reviews online. I absolutely LOVE this diaper cream. It's 100 percent all natural and has a sweet soft smell. One of the ingredients is beeswax, so that could be it. The cream goes on soft/cleanly, but thick, which is good. Our daughter has never had a full-on rash before, but she's had quite a few "flare-ups", or beginnings of a rash. I put on a few swipes of this, and I swear, it's already going away by the next diaper change. It works fast, and I love that it's all natural. It's a great product. She's 8 months now and we still have plenty left from the same tube, even though it looks small in size. see less

The best thing about this cream is that it does not have the stinky cod liver oil in it like the regular Desitin cream. I couldn't get past that. My son is special needs and previously needed multiple admissions to the hospital and/or was prescribed a lot of different medications and antibiotics that gave him the worst diaper rash. Not only that, his skin is sensitive so when his skin breaks down, it's take a long time to heal. This ointment has been such a life saver. I was hesitant to believe all of the hype on this product, but after trying EVERYTHING on my baby boy's diaper rash I paid the extra money for this cream. If your baby struggles with diaper rash this cream is definitely worth the money. It is also anti-fungal -containing tea tree oil- so it works on yeast diaper rashes. The best. Worth every penny. Especially for baby's with sensitive skin or have recurring diaper rashes. I can also use this with my cloth diapers- with a liner!!- so amazing see less

I LOVE California baby products and this is my favorite from the line. I actually got thrush while breastfeeding my baby and the pediatrician was surprised the baby did not get diaper rash from this. This was because I was using this diaper cream that has a natural anti-fungal ingredient, amazing! I tried desitin because I got so many as gifts, but it practically gave my baby a rash it was soo irritating to his sensitive skin. I really do love every product I've tried from California baby. My son went through a phase with diaper rash for a while. It was hard to find a cream that would heal his rash that was also safe to use with our cloth diapers. This cream was a life saver. It goes on very smooth and instantly soothed my son. Within a couple applications the rash was completely gone. I don't use it with every diaper change, but as soon as I see the first signs of irritation I pull out my California baby and typically one application is all it takes. Could not be happier! Our friend even warned us not to get any of the Mustela products because she couldn't stand the smell of them, but this was a gift. We use it only if my son's skin gets little irritated or has some rash, and the cream does miracles. Any irritation goes away just after one application. I'm sensitive to smells and this doesn't bother me, and it goes on easy and stays on, but is still easy to wash off my hands without leaving that smell or feeling others do. Our little girl has had some red cheeks. We do our best to protect and keep her cheeks moisturized, but never had great success with even what the Doctor recommended us to use. We tried out 911 Rescue cream, and it was truly nice and smooth, creamy, and richly emollient. It does have green and white tea extracts so expect some tea scents. Well, once we applied some on her cheeks and helped it in, the smell was not even noticeable after it was rubbed in. A couple of applications and days later, her cheeks were back to normal, and I used this just about anywhere to help with her dry skin and any red patches. I love it! I am so glad to find something that has worked for her sensitive baby skin. I used this on myself too! I deal with psoriasis and Butt Naked Baby products incorporate natural and organic ingredients---I just kind of was curious to try it out on my problematic flaky, irritated, and inflamed skin. I used it today, and I am so happy to tell you that it calmed my skin down, and my skin is feeling so much better. I can tell it is moisturized too. Visibly it looks better, and is not so flaky and inflamed. I think this is something that is great for sensitive babies and grown ups! see less

My 8 month old son developed patches of dry skin over much of his body (we live in a very cold dry place) this winter, and I tried: regular baby lotion multiple times a day, petroleum jelly, jojoba oil, less baths, even breast milk to ease the dryness and nothing worked. I saw this and thought I would try since nothing else worked, the price wasn't an issue considering I was getting worried about his skin cracking open and then the possibility of infection. Anyway, the first thing you notice is the less-than-pleasant smell. I kind of expected it, because it is a natural product. It smells slightly medicinal/minty, but it isn't horrible or unbearable. It is very creamy and smooth, rubs in well, and is non-greasy. I used this on my son once and noticed improvement. After daily applications for 3 more days, the flaky red patches he used to have are nearly gone! I am so happy, I don't care about the smell, which you can't really notice through his clothes anyway. I have not used that much of the little tub, so I doubt I will use it all this winter especially since it has started working and I probably won't have to use it every day. Would highly recommend if you have a dryness issue that hasn't responded to anything else! see less

This is AWSOME, we used it for chafing ourselves for years, now with a baby comming it is the only way to go. It was off the shelves for a while- I could not find it in multiple states - so watch out when I find it, I have no problem cleaning out the shelf!!!! I have looked for a subsitute, and I prefer this to all the expensive creams. This is just the perfect balance of ingredients with the aloe and vitamin E. I tried few different brands before I found this one - they all were fine, this one is no exclusion. We have no problems with this at all, just put some everytime I change the diaper as preventive measure and no irritation or diaper rush ever (even when the guy happens to mess himself at night and sleep all the night long in it). And it's cheap too, so why pay more for brand name if this works just as needed. I'm using it for a year or so now and I'm happy with it. It washes off easily too if needed, both from baby and clothing. P.S. other reviews mentioned something about it being too liquid and stinky - maybe there was some quality control issue that time... but I've never had it being this way. Under my mom's advice (she used this product on me 36 years ago!), I used this on my baby's bottom at every diaper change to prevent diaper rash. It really worked - she never had a diaper rash problem, as this was really a preventative treatment. Slathering on a good amount at night before bed also made it easier for us to all sleep through the night without worry, and not feel the need to wake her up just because she had a wet diaper. My daughter is now 2 and a half, and has been out of diapers since before she was two, but we still use it on occasion, if she starts to develop a little rash (she is still learning how to properly dry her bottom after using the toilet - and after a long day at preschool, she sometimes comes home with a little redness on the bum). We also use it for minor scrapes, and skin irritations, and it's very soothing for her. I highly recommend this product... it has been a lifesaver. And, a little goes a long way.... see less
