I was so excited when this chair arrived at my house...that was until my husband put it together! I will start with the good...looked classy, material didn't feel cheap and the overall quality seemed great considering the price. But then my husband sat in it and I thought...he sure looks tiny in it, but he is 5' 9" in so naturally he would. I decided I would sit in it myself and even I looked like a giant in it! My legs hung off the foot recliner part and the back of the chair came up to about half of my actual back. It was simply not comfortable the way a recliner chair should be...and I'm only 5'3" so you know it is a tiny chair. I will say, Target was GREAT about taking it back. We put it back in the box, not put together because it was impossible to take apart, printed off the receipt and took it back to our local Target without any hassle at all. Thanks Target for your help with making the return process so easy! see less

The cushions are harder than they look in the picture and make noise when you sit down. Overall the chair is very sturdy and easy to put together. I was just a little disapointed in the cushions. see less

When I first pulled it out of the box I was excited because it looked easy to put together. I was almost finished and just needed to put the back on and of course not all the holes like up. Over all its not a bad chair but hopefully it stays together with the missing screw. see less

This was a very attractive, affordable chair. But it's not quite big/long enough, even in the reclining position, for taller people. I think this would be great for a older child/youger adults room but it was too short for my needs. see less

We needed an accent chair ... see more

We needed an accent chair and this was a great option for the budget we had. The chair comes in 2 pieces plus feet to add on each corner. It took several tries to get the back on correctly - the directions are pretty vague. We thought we had it right but there was a gap between the arms and the back...if you're getting that, it's not on quite right. It should end up exactly like the picture, with no gaps. Otherwise, the chair looks exactly like the photo and doesn't feel like cheap imitation leather. There was an one-inch square blemish on the arm of our chair -like there was a sticker or something on the 'leather'-but it's not worth trying to return it or exchange. Will probably put a throw or something over the arm. see less

Bonded leather is not real leather so Target is not lying to you. Bonded leather is almost literally as it sounds...pieces of real leather bonded to vinyl fibers to create a leather like look. If I were comparing it to something it would be like the particle board of the upholstery world...hence the price being so low. You would never be able to purchase a chair like that for that price if it were entirely real leather. Just letting everyone know so they can make an educated decision see less

I was so incredibly disappointed when this chair arrived after I ordered it. Although the description on the website indicates that it is a "Leather Reception Chair - Black" and that the textile material is "100 Percent Leather" THIS IS NOT TRUE. The chair is clearly made out of vinyl. NOT LEATHER. The chair, the style, everything looks just like the photos posted online, but it is indeed faux leather/vinyl and not leather. Buyers beware, and Target, take note and please change the description of this chair on your website.[...] see less

I spent a lot of time looking at desk chairs, had bought a different one that I returned, and finally ended on this one. Glad I did, this chair is not only stylish, but also very sturdy and seems like it will really be able to hold up. Mesh back is great when sitting for long periods, the back support is awesome, seat padding is adequate, and while the arm rests are plastic they are extremely smooth and comfortable. I had always had chairs with wheels in the past, but realized that I don't need them, where am I wheeling too, I sit at a desk?!? All in all this is a great chair and would recommend it to anyone wanting to spend less than [$]on a chair. see less

I don't really like recliners. But my husband...well, men always want one. I don't like the "overstuffed" look of most recliners. Just not my style. This is more modern looking yet still comfortable. It looks short but my 6 foot husband fits in it very nicely. I like that there is not that space between the foot rest and the chair when the chair is reclined. It feels really nice considering it is not leather. The only CON...the cup holders are a joke. We have a wide variety of mugs and glasses in our home and not a one fits. The cup holders are small. But other than that they are very nice. So I got me one also. see less

we bought these chairs for my office at work. I read 3 websites and they had good reviews. All my clients said the chairs were really low. One client said the chair was so uncomfortable, had to get them a chair from a different office to finish appointment. The two chairs don't even feel the same when you sit on them. They are very uncomfortable to sit in. Unfortunately I can't even send them back because I ordered them in December and clients came in January, and I had no time. Dont buy the chairs!! Cant emphasize this enough see less

I wanted a nice looking chaise lounge in my bedroom for looks more so than seating. This fit the bill perfectly. It's great for decor but would never use it for everyday seating. For those who reviewed saying that this was too small, I don't believe they actually took a good long look at the measurements. The chaise WAS missing screws. I think it was supposed to come with 8 and it came with none. They aren't imperative to putting the chaise together but they are necessary for making it sturdy. see less

I've always wanted a chair set like this and took a chance on this one without any reviews. I was pleasantly surprised. It is very comfortable, sturdy and made with solid wood, stained mahogany. The bonded leather is soft and should clean well. Took a little more effort than I thought to put together, but it felt very comfortable sit in after I was done! Might have been easier with a second set of hands. A little hint, the bag of bolts is taped inside the wooden base of the chair. Unwrap all of the padding before you start putting things together. Both pieces came in the same box, very well packaged. It shipped via UPS for me, which didn't quite bring it to my door, since I live in a big apartment building. My trusty two-wheeler brought it up the elevator into my unit without any problems. I would definitely recommend this product, especially for the price point. It gives the local furniture shop's version a run for its money with their big price tag. see less

This chair is great for our situation. it looks good and is comfortable. It is light weight enough to easily move for cleaning. However the light weight, when on a smooth hard surface as is ours, allows for excess movement. Though easily put back into place. This chair only reclines about 30 to 40 degrees, we have not measured this. Though it is comfortable in all positions. Only four stars are given due to nothing being perfect. The armrest installations were a bit uncooperative. If someone is available to assist with this it would be no problem, but one person can do it. see less

Item arrived within a few days of ordering and it was pretty easy to put together. The instructions could be written better. The fabric is really soft (better than expected) and the look of this chair is exactly what I wanted in my formal livingroom. I agree that it is not made for heavy weight or kids to jump on, but it fits perfect in my room. see less

I really like the look of the chaise lounge however upon putting it together I found a problem. The legs each have a screw attached to them and then there are two other screws you put in yourself for each leg. These attach to the base of the Chaise. However, when I went to put in the final leg I found that there was not enough wood on the base to put the last screw into. I hope this makes sense... Anyway, we made it work. My husband had to twist the final leg as tight as it would go so that it would be fine with only one extra screw and not the two provided. I just wanted this Chaise for show more than anything so it works fine for me. It's just cheaply made but you get what you pay for being that it was only [$]. Anyway, not bad for the price but don't expect perfection... see less

Bought this a Christmas gift for my boyfriend. He loves it! Its not too big so it doesnt take up all of his room, but its not too small so he can stretch out on it comfortably. So far there have been no problems. I wish it came in other colors though, at some angles the "chocolate" color looks maroon but I can't complain. excellent quality for the price. see less

The size is perfect for a woman since it seems most recliners headrest pillow starts just a bit high for me. It is comfortable and easy to raise and lower but is sometimes hard to keep in a fully reclined position. The only thing I do not like about this recliner was the lack of clear instructions. They fail to warn you when attaching the back that if both sides do not lock at the very same time there is a very good chance one will run "off-track" and it is a struggle to realign them. I cut the palm of my hand while realigning mine but I was happy to find out that running "off-track" does not cause the back to warp. All in all it is well worth the price I paid. see less

Took 2 people 3 hours to assemble because the metal was so warped that the screws could not fit in at the same time. I am very happy with the chair. Very comfortable and matches photo. Delivery was quick. Assembly is easy although instructions are poor. Only requires 2 bolts/nuts to fasten chair. Armrests are tricky so look at photo before attaching 2 bolts to each arm. Ottoman requires 4 bolts to attach to wood frame. Just thread on recliner adjustment knob and voila you have a very comfortable and rich looking chair. I gave it 5 stars for quality because the price I paid I could not expect more. see less

I actually purchased the one with casters, which is same exact but with wheels. Anyhow the legs are so flimsy and are not even sturdy enough to stay put. I'm afraid one day someone will sit in it and it's just going to fall apart!! Not a very well made chair at all!!! see less
