I found this rug in the brown color at my local Target. I have a sliding door approx 6' wide and this 7' rug works perfectly. It's soft under foot and just dark enough to conceal dirt. I love this rug so much that I'm ordering another in the same color for another door in my house. If in the market for a long narrow runner I would highly recommend. I love this rug. The reason I ordered it was because I had bought the 5 x 7 for under my dining room table. It is perfect and the red just pops, It also cleans so well. Needed an attractive set of rugs to go with my newly remodeled kitchen. These rugs look fabulous against the wood floors, warm cherry cabinets and earthtones in my kitchen, along with the stainless steel appliances. The background color of this rug is grey which I normally would not love, BUT, the mix of the browns, hints of reds along with the oatmeal and taupe accents just makes it all work. I got this rug to go in our office/playroom. My intention was for my kids to play on it. I love the look, the price, the style. Unfortunately, it is scratchy. My 2 year old won't walk on it barefoot, and every time he presses his hand down he winces and rubs his hands together. Label says wool and cotton. It's not just scratchy wool - there are prickly fibers in there and what looks like debris blended into the fibers. It definitely won't be acceptable for my new baby who will be crawling at some point! Disappointed that I have to take it back. This rug is a great deal otherwise. see less

I bought the 7x10 and the runner. The runner is really nice and soft. I'm still trying to get the area run to lay flat, but it's coming...will have to put a pad under it. would have been nice if they made the underside of the 7x10 like the underside of the runner. I compared this in store to a "[...]" one I thought I'd like better. This one was MUCH better looking in person. see less

I loved this rug when I first bought it but after normal wear & tear, the material around the circles started coming out. I would find these fuzzballs all over the rug. If you pull on it, the material would come out even more. Wouldn't have expected this for the price! see less

I bought this to replace a shag rug from [...] I had. [...] I have the same fraying at the end problems as other reviewers, and it was like that straight out of the package. I purchased the 5x7 size, it is a beautiful rug and very soft shag. Imagine my disappointment when I got it home and unwrapped and unrolled this rug to find none of the edges were bound. It looked like a carpet remnant. When unrolled, parts of the carpet fiber came loose from the edges. When I looked at the back, it was very poorly made, some of the fibers went from one side of the rug to another side leaving a long loop on the bottom. When I returned it, I checked another one just like this in a smaller size and it was not finished on the edges either.. No binding on the edges, no way to hold the fibers in so it just kept unraveling. Even though it is a very good brand, a beautiful color, and very soft. I wouldn't take this rug if I were given it for free. This is definitely not a quality I've come to expect from Target see less

I had been hunting for a shag style rug for my living room, as I was re-decorating it completely top to bottom. I wanted something with color that would complement my decor. I found a few here and there, but nothing that grabbed my attention. I came across this rug and it gave me the "Wow" affect I had been looking for. I bought it that day, no hesitation! It is good quality, (I have dogs and grand kids and a 19 yr old!) I was happy that it was made in the USA! And it looks great in my living room! All pluses for me! I only wish it came in the 8x10. I have had this rug for over two years. It still looks great and wears well. When It needed a good cleaning, I drug it out to the drive way since I have hard wood floors and used a rug shampooer. We received this rug for our wedding, and placed it in a high-flow traffic area in our home. We have 3 dogs who run through the house, and while this rug doesn't always stay in place on our hardwood floors, it does well and doesn't show dirt. It's too bad the picture of this rug is so awful because this rug is awesome. I got it to put in the nursery for our baby boy and it looks great. It's colorful without being over the top. And it has so many colors in it that it really ties together all the many colors on his books and toys from around the room. That said, I could definitely see using this rug in a modern family room or an adult bedroom as well. It's great and you really can't beat the price. see less

I ordered the 5x7 and it's a perfect size for the space that I needed it. My living room is on the small size and I just wanted a rug to make it a little more cozy and this rug did that. It is soft underfoot. I did put a rug pad underneath and def noticed a difference b/c I contemplated even doing that. I feel the rug pad makes it more plush. I ordered the rug on a Wedesday night and had it by the following Tuesday. I would recommend to a friend. see less

When I saw the rug on the website,I thought the pattern was gorgeous and would match my bedroom decor perfectly! I also have cats so I was trying to find something that would conceal the cat hair. I saw that a lot of people wrote about buying it for their living room or family room, but decided to give it a try in my bedroom anyway. It arrived 3 days after I places the order, which I thought was very fast. It fit perfectly and looked great, and was very soft to walk on like everyone else described. I don't know why someone wrote that the piling was low because it is medium, but fluffy and soft, which was hard to find for that price. The cats loved it too, one was sleeping in the middle of the room on it, I think she thought it was her new bed. I highly recommend it. I went to many stores before settling on this one, and it was definitely worth the wait. see less

I am so happy with this purchase! The delivery was quick and easy, the colors are true to the picture and it looked perfect in my living room! The only hard part was choosing which size to purchase and after reading other people's suggestions, I went with the largest size (7'8"x10'10") and am so glad I did!
