We bought this item recently. Our safe door sticks because the alignment of the door is not straight. The hinge allows the lower left side of the door to skew downward enough so that opening the safe comes with some difficulty. It wants to do this naturally since the weight of the door is heaviest opposite the hinge side. There is not an adequate handle on the access door for grabbing and pulling hard. That would have helped. It looks like our problem comes more from a design defect rather than some kind of damage. We cannot recommend this product to anyone if our case is the typical level of quality. see less
