I initially thought that this bike was going to be too powerful for my four year old. After she fell off the bike a couple of times, she finally got ahold of how to successfully ride it. She has a ton of fun. I've never seen her that happy or confident. The neighbors were amazed when they saw her zipping through the golf course. A must have for your young daredevils. see less

I got this for my grandson for Xmas, he is 6 and a half, and he just LOVES it! I was worried it might go too fast for him but it's worked out great. For now he is just riding it in the grass but once he gets more confident he can ride it on the sidewalk. Of course he wears a helmet and I got him elbow and knree guards as well. I would highly recommend it. We haven't been able to keep him off of it. The charge lasts about 30 minutes which has been sufficient for each session. see less

Good construction, made very well, rides very smooth and very fast. Handlebar adjusts up/down for height of child. My daughter has the hard-to-find pink/silver razor and it looks great, so girlish!! Of course, always wear a helmet and wrist gloves can be a good idea too, but she's been spotted outside without either... It folds flat so great to take to visit family, let her scoot around grandmother's driveway safely. If you want your kid to feel like a big kid, ditch that preschool scooter and by age 5 or 6, move onto the Razor A! see less

This is a great 'toy' that is fun for 5 yr olds but is also fun for teens (and adults for that matter!). We have two Razors for our two older kids, and I'm acually contemplating buying two for my husband and myself. We use them all the time, from running to the park to getting around when sightseeing. We frequently use them in downtown Chicago when visiting grandma and grandpa. The razors allow the adults to walk while removing the whine factor from the kids. No more "Mommy, I'm tiiiirrrreeeed!" They fold up compactly for storage and make a great travel toy for that reason. Think about a Razor next time you plan on doing miles of walking (DisneyWorld leaps to mind!).When the preschooler wants to ride her bike around the block, my husband and I grab the Razor. It's fast enough to keep up with her easily yet it's capable of going slower than an adult bicycle (which is illegal to ride on most city sidewalks anyways).Many kids in the neighborhood have scooters, but the Razors get fought over! They are very durable and they roll beautifully. Trust me, Razors are the best. see less

My 6 year old bought this with his own money and I was worried he would not be able to get the hang of it. He was proficient with the kick scooter so I let him try. He was good to go with the siege from the start and the scooter offers way more flexibility than just the regular kick scooter. You can do turns and dips that aren't possible on the standard scooter. I bought this scooter for my niece's 3rd birthday and was immediately disappointed when I opened the box. The scooter has a plastic base that is not reinforced with metal so it bows in the middle. It wouldn't take long for this to crack. The paint job was poor and the handle bars were already scuffed, even though the box had a "factory seal" on it. I paid [$] for this scooter and it was not worth it. I returned this immediately and got the Razor Lil' Kick Scooter. It has a much sturdier design [...]. I got this bike for my birthday. I thought it wouldn't be that great of a bike. When I first got it- it was small. My best friend has a " [...]" I thought it couldn't compare, but when we final got the chance to ride it together I had a blast! This bike has a really smooth ride. Only bump on some surfaces. NO noise! Its does'nt ripe up the yard either! It goes faster on the pavement but also goes pretty fast on in the grass. I'm 5'4 (Five feet and Four inches) I weight around 120. Won't fall over when parked and my kids enjoy riding for about 5 miles or more before the battery need recharge. My daughter has always wanted an electrical scooter but the battery only lasts 25 minutes!! After that the scooter starts to slow down considerably. On the target webpage it says it takes 4 to 5 hours to charge BUT on the scooter itself it says it needs 6 to 8 hours! The scooter is durable, since riding time is so short, it should last forever!, strong and a little heavy. The manufacturer should really look at the battery life. If I had known that it would take 8 hours of charging for 25 minutes max of riding time I would have not purchased the scooter. Also you cannot return the scooter to a Target store, I have to send it via UPS, which is an added downside to this scooter. I will be returning for a Huffy Green Machine, I got this for my son and nephew and they can't stop riding them. My girls, 10 & 13, both want a Huffy Green Machine and since the age limit is young adult I know they are well worth it! see less

Bought it last night for my 3 yr old son. I tried it in the parking lot and it was nice and smooth but with some steering concerns. After scooting it around the house--wood floors--and not allowing me to teach him how to steer, he didn't want to have anything to do with it. His older cousin tried it for 5 minutes and said, "I think I'm over with this one"--and they usually play with the scooters for hours. Basically, the steering concept is awesome..if you want to ride it with minimal turns in a spacious playground. Otherwise, it won't work for close quarters. Another major drawback is that counter steering is not possible--because your feet will do most of the steering in this case. Returning it for the Buzz one. see less

I chose this scooter for the big wheels (I live in NYC and the sidewalks are rough) and the 175 lb weight limit. I am an adult, but at 5'3" tall I don't have a problem with the handlebar height.
