I am a 75 year old retired aerospace engineer. I wanted a plastic shed and did extensive research to find the best engineered, easiest to build, and best looking shed. This one did not disappoint. It arrived on a pallet, in 3 cardboard boxes all plastic wrapped together, in perfect condition. Although it was recommended that 2 people build it, I decided to try doing it by myself and see how far I got. I built a wood foundation per the instructions using pressure treated wood. Once I started the actual shed, I was amazed at how well it was engineered for ease of assembly and for ultimate strength. All parts fit together easily, and nothing needed any modification to make it work. The instructions are excellent (40 pages). In all I was able to finish the shed in about 8 hours all by myself. Understand that plastic is not as solid as wood, but it has steel reinforcements and is actually very sturdy. I'm delighted with it. It looks great, is water proof, and will never need painting. see less

REALLY DON'T NEED ANY TOOLS TO CONSTRUCT THIS UNIT. PIECES JUST SNAP TOGETHER, AND TURNS OUT REALLY STURDY. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS UNIT IF YOU DON'T NEED A JUMBO SIZE STORAGE UNIT. see less

We liked our first one so much, we bought a second. We have them on our patio and use them to store patio furniture cushions, garden tools, flower pots, garden hoses, etc. They are easily cleaned (I use a power washer). Just spray the unit and let it dry. The interior stays dry; rain and snow don't penetrate them either. Also, they look just as good now as when we bought them, despite exposure to extreme temperatures and sunlight. see less

My 81 yr old Mothers hous ... see more

My 81 yr old Mothers house burnt down and everything was lost. We found that the things we could save were the things that were in Rubbermaid containers. The things in other companies containers melted. Our Large horizontal Storage shed, next to the house shed, where the fire started, is in perfect condition. It stood up to the fire and water wonderfully. I will never buy anything unless it is rubbermaid. My mother now has a lot of old photots because they were in rubbermaid containers. Once the shed is assembled it appears to be an excellent product; however, the instructions for assembling are very poor. The instructions say, "Slide the two back pieces together. This seems to indicate that the two pieces should be slide together horizontally, which is not correct. The right piece has to be held high above the left piece, and then slid down over the tabs on the left piece. see less

We have had this unit for at least 7 or 8 years and it is wonderful. We use it to store pool chemicals. It keeps everything dry, is easy to use and still looks new. see less

The set up was under 10 minutes. It probably took just as long to unpack as assemble.The shed lids have a stop between full open and closed so it can vent without soaking everything inside and the raised door bottoms do not scrape along the lawn.Only issue is, the above lid lock makes it difficult to rest items on the top as they may get snagged. see less
