I received a very appreciative email from my mother who asked for and received this shoe horn as a small gift. I ordered it and had it sent. She said she was shocked at the quality and beauty.
Target, you've dropped the ball here but totally in the customer's favor. You described this shoe horn's Features as "Made of Plastic" when it is infact, made of very sturdy steel and genuine silver plated. I called Harry Koenig to confirm this and they did so. Talk about underselling a product!! Now the finger hole is relatively small, (for a women's hand I presume), but since it is metal, I'm going to file it out for a better fit.
A great addition to all of your shoes and sandals! I have added these to all of my shoes and they definitely make them all more comfortable. I do a little trial and error, marking with a pencil or chalk, depending on the color/texture of the shoe insole, before attaching them, via the double-stick tape. If the insole material does not want to attach with the tape, I add a small piece of double-stick carpet tape. I too, have started having problems finding them in my local store, so I order several pair on-line to have handy for any new shoe/sandal purchase. Don't waste your money on other brands!!!
I have high arches so these are useful. They stick to the inside of my shoe where I put them. The tricky part is putting them in the right spot. I have successully repositioned them prior to wearing the shoes.
I have bought more to go in more of my shoes.
However, they do not provide enough support for my high arches. They do help. I often use an addtional insole to give sufficient support.
Target.com indicates that these can be found in store. My store usually doesn't carry them.
