I like that this rack is expandable and held my size 5 1/2 shoes! The bars on some shoe racks are spaced too far apart and don't hold small sized shoes. I wish, however, that it was sturdier and that the poles were soldered to the ends so that they didn't have to be screwed in. see less

It's not bad, but can be very frustrating because if you even slightly bump it, all the shoes fall off! Where mine fits, it is constantly getting bumped so I am always putting the shoes gingerly back on it and trying not to touch it, and it's very frustrating! I wanted a shoe rack that would not cost me no more [$] and not made of plastic. This is a wonderful shoe rack. I enjoy the three levels and that the rods are extendable. Overall this a good shoe rack for the money. I dont have any problems except for one pair of my shoes that has a narrower heel at the tip tends to occasionally slip between the bars but that is probly due to the style of the shoe. Other than that no complaints. I got this from the local target in my area. see less

Its a little tough but you just kinda twist and push with it flat on floor and pop the top one on top and push and your done. I cant wait to buy more shoes to stack another one on top LOL. see less

I chose this particular one because of the color and height. It is very sturdy, easy to assemble, and the racks are adjustable. (and rotate smoothly) I had a jumble of shoes near the garage door and now they are organized and neat. And the thing just looks cool. I am using it for myself (women's size 6) and 4 children. You might have to play around with the racks if you are using it for large adult shoes, but I'm pretty sure it should work. see less

I got this rack to keep my boots from falling flat...and shoe horns are way to expensive. This was a great solution and I am actually purchasing another one since I just bought more boots. I'm not sure why the previous reviewer had problems with their rack tipping over- I've never once experienced that. The assembly was quick but you have to make sure the racks face in the correct direction....maybe that was the problem with it tipping? see less

Assembly for this shoe rack is simple all you do is snap on the shelves to the metal bar, and as long as you don't push with it crooked it won't snap off like some of the other reviewers have stated. I found it best to push it down towards the floor with the metal bar on the ground. My boots I placed on the top shelf and fit great! My more flexible boots also fit and you just lay the rest to the side. You also can fit more summer sandals by stacking them on top of each other. What's great is that nothing can fall through so you can lean pairs of shoes against each other. I found that for [$] dollars this was a great sell and you aren't limited to small squares like other shoe organizers. I found it to be durable I dragged it around my bedroom with shoes on it and nothing broke. I love it! see less

I'm so excited about this that I just had to write a review. I just bought this last night and it's the best purchase I have ever made. It worked perfectly and it doesn't seem so flimsy like other shoe racks! I held maybe 20-30 of my shoes and i put all my boots at the top. I don't really know what people are talking about when they say their heels wouldn't stand up because all you have to do is hang the heel over the backside! That worked perfectly for me! Now I do have a small foot, size 6, which i'm sure helped my particular situation but I used the rack to hold every single one of my heels and put my flats in one of those hanging racks. When I put it together I was outside of my closet, then i loaded up all my shoes and DRAGGED it to the back of my walk in closet and it didn't come apart at all. I finally have a real shoe solution, for less than 25 bucks see less

I've had this for almost a year, and I love it! It holds most of my shoes and is a fantastic solution for the mess that was the bottom of my closet. Wow! This is quite a shoe rack. Much better quality than expected which explains the price. It is industrial strength steel (the box says so), and it is heavy, stable and does not tip over. As far as width/diameter, it takes up very little space. I can put 3 in the space of an old 9 pair floor rack (that is 72 pairs as opposed to 9). As far as height, it is huge- don't expect to put it under anything. I'm short and it is practially as tall as me. It seems taller than the 52 inches the description states, but I haven't measured it. I wear a women's 7.5 and it fits all 24 pairs as advertised. It definitely would not fit 24 pairs of men's shoes though. Even some of the wider women's shoes are a tight fit. For womens shoes, if you have a spot with the height to fit it in your closet, this thing is great!! see less

I needed something to put in the corner next to the stairs to drop mail and such on and keep scarves and things in. This does the job, but the drawers get stuck and twisted in the bars and fall out if you pull them out not very far. It is a lot more stable than I expected, so that's good, and it looks nice tucked away in a corner. But it's definitely not worth 130 bucks--You could find woven basket like that in any place like the Container Store, for 30 bucks each, and the rest is just metal bars---not really worth the price. see less
