I bought this bag because most sleeping bags are sized for vegetarians with no meat on their bones. I am 6'1 and quite solidly built, and this bag is the perfect size for me. The removable flannel liner is very comfortable, and I have tried sleeping in the bag without, with the liner by itself without the bag, and with them both combined. This versatility allows the bag to be used in varied temperature ranges. Moreover, the bag is large enough that I can slip my Therma-rest Luxury Map XL self inflating air cushion between the bottom of the bag and the flannel liner. There is still just enough room for me to be zipped up snugly. see less

This is a great sleeping bag, I haven't tried it in it's lowest degree rating but I have used it in the higher degree rating and I LOVE it. These bags keep feet warm and are easy to manage. They are easy to care for -- and are small enough to store easily. I bought this for my 9 year old kid, who was going to a soccer summer cap. He loves the design, and the colors. He told me it kept him plenty warm. In my opinion it has room enough for him, or even for a 10 or 11 year old kid. We just returned from our first family camping trip. For [$] the 3 bags we purchased were great. With warm pj's we were each very warm in our tent in these bags. I loved the way they closed. They have very sturdy elastic straps. They were more than plenty long and one of the best things is the way that the base extended to allow the pillow to not be on the ground. I think for a [$] bag we will definitely get our money's worth. see less

We don't go camping often, maybe once or twice a year. I wanted a sleeping bag instead of schlepping a huge blanket and sheets for our air mattress. I prefer cool weather camping(between 50-70 degrees) so this seemed to fit the bill.I liked the colors, rounded bottom and that the fabric inside and out is slippery(easier to flip over!). I usually sleeping with a down comforter at home and I get really uncomfortable sleeping without something of that sort of heft and puffiness. Another thing I can't live without is my body pillow. I'm 5'4, and this embark sleeping bag was perfect for me. Just the right fluffiness, but not really heavy or too hot, I was even able to comfortably fit my body pillow in there with me. I've so far used it when it was in the low 50's at night, and it was honestly JUST right. If it got much colder, I'd need extra blankets, so it's not really true to the whole 30 degrees thing. Another con would be that there was some messy stitching on it, little strings hanging off here and there. So obviously it's not a "top of the line" sleeping bag, for 25 bucks, I got exactly what I expected. see less

I bought this sleeping bag thinking that to 30 degrees I'd have no problem camping out in the woods behind a friends' house last weekend. If I had relied on this bag to save my life, I would be frozen. This is like a 50 degree bag. I had to share with my friend in the middle of the night because I got so cold. Caveat emptor. see less

Bought this for my 8-year-old for his first camping trip. It is just his size and is very comfortable. My only complaint is that the storage bag tore after a few uses. But, for the price, it is to be expected. I definitely would recommend it because it is a great "first sleeping bag" for kids. see less

I have a green Embark sleeping bag like the one in the picture, but much greener. It was bought from Target a few years ago and has held up great. I ended up cutting the zipper off, not because it was bad, but because it was chewed on by my mutt and couldn't be used. That's not a fault in the zipper. I still use it as a blanket. It keeps me warm when I'm cold, but isn't hot when I'm not cold. If you're like me, then you hate going to bed without being covered. This sleeping bag is usually what I use, and helps me in the mornings because I don't have to make the bed, I can just hit snooze and sleep a couple more minutes. Thank you Embark and Target for allowing me a comfortable sleep, warm winters, and allowing me to hit snooze. see less

I got this for my 5 year old son for Christmas. He LOVES it. The zipper is kid friendly, it's thick enough to be comfortable, and seems to hold up well. He has literally slept in it every night since Christmas. It stays on top of his bed and it's been almost a month. Overall, very pleased. see less

I had already bought the Wildkin "Princess" sleeping bag for my grandaughter's 4th birthday, and now have purchased not only the "Pirate" sleeping bag for her older brother, but also the "Out of This World" one for her younger brother. I am really impressed with these--they have the nice soft cotton flannel lining which is so much better than the polyester in terms of comfort. Also all three came with a carrying bag and a matching pillow. The kids love them and travel with them and use them also for lounging around. And they're just the right size--a little smaller than an adult bag but big enough to last through childhood. Their mother says they wash well also. I think the price for them is fairly reasonable--one of them I bought on a sale, so I was surprised at what the full price was when I purchased the other two. see less

This is what my 8-year old sleeping bag user had to say about the sleeping bag: This sleeping bag is great! It is so thick on it's bottom, I can't feel the floor!It is also beautiful! The blue butterflies on the purple background are reallysomething special to look at! And the pink pillow! It is wonderful! And oh, so fluffy! If you ask me, it is a #1 sleeping bag!I might add, that the sleeping bag appears soft and the colors are pleasing. It is light and folds easily into the carrying case. The sleeping bag is made well, light weight and a nice color but I hate the way it feels. It is polyester and is like nails on a chalkboard to me. It also states 35 degree weather but I froze sleeping on my bedroom floor. I had to add a fleece blanket and fleece pjs to stay warm. I would return this in a second if I could. see less

First my grandaugther loves anything with dots. When I saw the Big Dots Pink Sleeping bag , I knew we had a winner. Her bedroom is pink and lavender. the shade of pink is perrfect. She will use it for her guest and for sleepovers at granny's home. The pillow was an added bonus.. She happily said "Oh granny it has a pillow" The size is perfect for a small adult so she has growing room. The inner lining is a soft felt like fabric, it feels soooo good. The carrying case makes it easy to pack up and head to granny's house. By the way, she slept in it that very night. I will surprise with pink PJ's from Target. see less

Bought for my 7 year old. Her sister has one from [...], but their color choices were limited at the time I needed this. It is good but not great. Having both by each other if I had to do it again I would buy from [...] - the material on it was far superior quality and it will last much longer. That said this one serves it's purpose well, but the outer material is not really as thick as I would like. The bands that were around it were lost at first slumber party. Not bad if you need a good sleepover sleeping bag to last a couple of years - but for the price I expected something a little thicker in the way of material and the color was a bit more faded than how it appeared online - still not bad. see less
