My son has been wearing these since he started walking. The are -or seem to be- comfy and are easy for us to get on and off him. And even though they seem a little pricey for a baby shoe, we have really gotten our money's worth. He wears them every day and the first pair lasted about a year. He finally outgrew them before they wore out! So we got the same kind in the next size up, for an easy transition. We're sticking with them! see less

I got these for my 1yr old son a size bigger, he was a size 4 and the sizes started at 5 and up in the store. He was still able to wear them because they stayed on his feet really good! It's been months now and he still wears them and they've held up perfectly! I'm glad I bought them big because he's getting a lot of use out of them and I got my moneys worth! I just LOVE converses, especially for little boys! A little boy & converses is like peanut butter & jelly!! So now I'm going to get another pair for when he grows out of the pair he has! I definitely recommend these shoes! They're made good, hold up great, and are ADORABLE! see less

I think this shoe looks adorable! I was so excited to get it for my 3 year old. After we put it on I noticed that my little guy kept adjusting his straps. It didn't look like it fit hit foot right. The material was very stiff and squeeked when it was bent. I thought it was odd because the shoe at our local Target was not like that. They are very light and cute but it stopped there for us. I wish the material was not as plasticy and cheap. see less

Love the shoes, they fit well and are great for my son to get on and off himself. My only concern is that the lights on the left shoe won't stop flashing!!! 24hours a day, 7 days a week. Don't know how or why, but it won't stop flashing!!! see less

We've been using these for months now and love them. People are constantly telling us how cute they are. They slip on and off my 2-year-old's feet easily -- but not TOO easily. He has gotten then pretty dirty but the multicolored design hides the stains. We are in a warm, dry climate so these are perfect for us although I do think they would be too light for wintertime in another part of the country. They are also not waterproof so don't let your little one jump in any puddles. see less

My 12 month old wears these shoes,which work great. He has really, really high aches on the top of his feet. Most lace shoes aren't comfortable for him and he screams...fun fun! He loves the shoes and they are made fine. The Velcro works good, and the tongue of the shoe is flexible to fit my sons cube feet! I wished the shoes were cheaper but its whatever they work, he likes it, the end! The other person I read their review must have gotten a bad pair! see less

I'm not sure what the other reviewer is talking about, these shoes are great! Not only did my 12 month old son love the look of these shoes, but they fit his feet great, they stay on well, and we loved them so much, we even bought an extra pair! The top part with the monkey head folds over to velcro his feet in tightly so the shoes don't slip off and he can't easily pull them off. We have had them for the past 3 months, he wears both pairs several times a week, and they haven't even frayed...they are great quality. see less

i bought these for my 4 year old daughter. they're super cute, she seems like they're comfy, and very easy to get off and on. my only complaint is that the tongue is super short. you can hardly see it at the top once they're velcroed, and because of it they slide down into the shoe. pretty annoying. other than that, happy kid and happy mom. see less

I bought these shoes as "backups" for my two and six year old sons, for hectic mornings when they can't find their other shoes. What a surprise it was to see both kids picking these day after day, while more expensive shoes sat unused. So I asked my six year old why. He said they are very comfortable and look like "space" shoes, even "cooler" than the space motif ones from a major brand that costs three times as much - I returned those. My two year old loves stomping his feet to make the lights go on. More than once he has pleased to go to bed with them!? It's been two months of almost daily use and they still look new. Honestly, I'm shocked. For this low price I expected them to be very basic and fall apart soon. But they've held up very well, and best of all, they go with anything and do not show dirt easily. I stocked up on these in bigger sizes just in case they are discontinued - it's not often one finds a great quality affordable shoe that both kids and parents can agree on! see less
