We have had this for 11 months now. Our daughter learned to turn it on and off at 4 months. She has gone through phases of turning on and off, making sure she turns it on before she goes to sleep, and turning on just the nightlight part all the time. It has been great. It was extremely helpful with sleep training. Every once in awhile she will get into phases of playing with it her entire nap, so at that time we start turning it off for a week. Absolutely love this item. We are on our 4th set of batteries at 11 months. However, it wasn't used much at all for the first 4 months. Once your child can turn it on and off constantly it really can run the batteries down. The remote is great too. She has accidentally turned it on with her foot at night and I could simply hold the remote up to the crack in her door and it turned it off before it woke her. Options for lights with water sounds/music or no lights and just water sounds/music. We LOVE this item. see less

I have had this slumber buddy frog for about a year and a half now and it still works perfectly! My 20 month old has grown very attached to this and it really helps him sleep - it has become an important part of his daily routine. He likes one of the lullaby's specifically for nap time and another for bed time. We use the music part of it every single day at least 4 times a day and the lights along with the music only occasionally when he goes to bed, but the batteries always last at least a month. I would agree that the only downfall is that the music doesn't last but maybe 20 minutes, but that is how most of these types of products are. If you're looking for something to play music longer, I'd invest in an actual CD player and lullaby CD's... But for us, it hasn't really been much of an issue, and my son loves this even as a toy. This was definitely one of the best purchases that was made for our son. see less

This has been my son's favorite thing since he was born. The heartbeat soothed him in infancy, and the lullabies sooth him still at a year. It is the only thing that helped him start putting himself to sleep and if he wakes up at night I hear him press the button and he goes right back to sleep. When we lay him down - even mostly asleep - he automatically reaches for it, and it had better be there! He snuggles the soft bear in his sleep too. Perfect baby bear! see less

My little 8 week old has had his mobile for a few weeks and is starting to show interest in the projections. The mobile seems to be starting to turn more slowly, but all parts still work fine. His favorite setting seems to be the nature setting with a CD in the back ground because the music on the mobile repeats in smallish loops see less

Our 2 year old still uses it and absolutely loves it. It was great to have the remote for when we were teaching him to go to sleep by himself. This is a Great product but Not sure why it says attaches to crib it has nothing on it to attach it to anything. Just sits on a dresser or table. Our baby is only 2 weeks old so she sleeps in a bassinet in our room for now and I use it in the middle of the night when I have to nurse our newborn it's just the right amount of light for me to see what I'm doing without waking up my husband. And the sounds are quiet enough they sooth the baby to sleep without keeping is up. My 3 yr old also loves looking at the stars and changing the colors see less

I got this for a baby shower gift, along with the sleep sheep. My daughter never got in to the womb sounds, but she so loves the three little tunes this bear plays. We named the bear Mrs. Sing when my baby was first born, and now she points to it and says "Sing!" She loves Mrs. Sing. The music is so soothing. She's never slept with any kind of stuffed animal, but now she loves to take Mrs. Sing in her arms, play her favorite song ...as she is old enough to press the buttons to play what she likes... and drift off to sleep. see less

I bought this bear a year ago for my newborn daughter. She fell asleep instantly and has slept with the bear every night since and now that she's a year old she drags it everywhere with her too. The bear is very well made and very soft. The womb sounds are very soothing, as well as the 3 different songs (although they're not very long) and the nature sounds, and they turn off automatically in 20 minutes which saves battery life. All in all the bear has held up very well after a year's worth of abuse and I'm buying another one now that she's attached to it, just in case. see less

We got this bear for my first daughter (in brown) when she was a newborn in 2007 and this was our saving grace to get her to sleep and comfort her, she was very colicky and this was the only thing that would calm her. She sleeps with this bear every night, they are inseparable. We just had our second daughter and got this bear for a baby shower (in pink) and this bear is very soothing to her as well. The sounds on it are great, especially the music, I even enjoyed falling asleep to it with my daughter. I would highly recommend this bear to anyone and we had no problems with it. see less

My son is 15 months old and I just got this for him. I finally cut out his bedtime nursing session and this has resulted in a lot of crying out of him the past few nights. I put this on tonight and it is really cool! I was surprised at how much ceiling it covers. I'm a huge Disney fan, so I especially like the hidden Mickey constellation. Hehe. It must be a good soother because my son fell asleep so fast tonight! I would definitely recommend it. I took a star off of the rating though because Pooh's head blocks some of the stars from shining but even with that, it still covers a lot of ceiling. see less

We bought this for our baby's nursery which is all Pooh themed. It's a really cute little nightlight. We haven't used it yet since baby isn't here just yet but I'm excited to see it work. My only recommendation would be to use the green light because the yellow one isn't quite as bright. And also i sort of wish it were a plug in feature instead of batteries. I have a feeling we'll be going through a lot of them. see less

My husband and I bought this today in desperation as we have an 11 month old son who is teething and we have had over a week of tears (for at least 30 minutes) at naptime and bedtime. He has always been a great sleeper so we were very stressed out! We used it for nap time this afternoon and he cried a few times for a few seconds but then became intrigued by the pictures on his ceiling and stopped crying. I did have to restart it once as he started crying when it stopped the music and projection the first time, but by the time it stopped the second time, he was asleep with very little fuss and stress! And we had exactly the same result when putting him down to sleep this evening at bedtime! And it is portable so we can take it with to granny's house too. Great product! see less

We love this lamb. If you need a few minutes to sit your little one in the crib so you can change clothes, use the bathroom, or even just put on your shoes, this lamb is great! I wouldn't use it at night as the light is pretty bright, there are two settings so you can turn down the brightness and loudness, but it is really cool and our son loves his! You do have to reset it if you're going to be more than five minutes or just learn to take a five minute shower, but it will keep your little one focused long enough to brush your teeth. see less

The fact that it can be attached to crib, car seat etc is a big plus. Not all soothers can do that. I am a mommy-to-be and I ordered this online. It was worth every penny. The bear is super soft and snuggly and safe to be in the crib. The blankie he is holding is designed to hold the parent scent so baby always feels secure. The sound maker sticks in his back and has lullabyes, ocean sounds, womb noises, white noise, and an option to even record your own noise or message. I would reccommend!! see less

I had put this on my Target baby registry, but decided to buy it myself anyway! It lights up, but not too bright, not too dim. It also plays soft music and has two volume settings.
