I love this table. It was easy to assemble with a drill. It looks great and can sit up to 4 people when moved from a wall. I recommend this table to anyone who is looking for a space saving and multi functional furniture.
When I received this bar, there was a quarter sized chip on one of the corners of the tabletop. The wood and quality of the bar overall is good although the price point is slightly higher than I would have liked to pay. I did not want to go through the hassle of returning this furniture, but I wanted to bring awareness to the chip in the bar.
I'm not sure if this product is shipped by Target or not but there was absolutely no care put into boxing this item up. The box was pretty banged up itself and the tape was coming off. I figured it's a table in there so it shouldn't be very fragile to the elements. Boy was I wrong!
Upon taking out all the pieces I found 4 different pieces had big chips in the wood and scuff marks! Nonetheless I tried putting it together hoping the damaged pieces would not be visible. Wrong. After putting the entire thing together I found the top had the most scuff marks and one of the corners was completely chipped off.
The instructions were horrible! It was hard to tell what piece went where. If I hadn't had previous experience with putting together furniture I don't think I would have been able to finish this or the thing may have just collapsed on itself.
This is the first and last piece of furniture I'll ever buy from Target. It's obvious they only care about the bottom dollar. Quality and standards mean nothing to Target.
The only thing I'll say about this experience that was positive was that it was really easy to return. I took it into the store and they took it back with no questions asked. This also makes me think they're familiar with how horrible their products are and I'm not the first person to return a furniture item.
