I love it - I love to cook and have many spices - my cabinet is so organized now - I kept my 2 tier lazy susan spice holder and put it on the shelf above my new spice holder and that now holds spices I rarely use or just duplicates for the ones I am running low on. The new 27 holder can handle all size containers which I love. Definitely would recommend this purchase to anyone who wants everything at their fingertips and not wasting time shuffling around yr cabinets to find the ones you need. see less

Very sturdy and fits great in the cabinet. Some of the very large spices don't fit but I only have one or two of those. Also, my vanilla extract leaked a little so I would put that in there but other than that it was exactly what I was needing. see less

The only thing I had trouble with was originally hanging it. It was a tiny bit warped to screw it into the wall. Great all around spice rack. After moving into our new home, we wanted a spice rack for the counter-top. My wife located one at [another store] but it was too expensive and from the web site photos it was big and bulky. We settled for the Old Thompson Revolving spice rack from Target. Our spice cabinets filled with over 60 spice jars were always a jumble of confusion, and listening to my wife complain brought me to this fold-down spice rack. I tried to order four, even though they are a bit pricy with the ever-present "shipping and handling," but they only had one in stock. I love the design of this spice rack and it holds a lot of stuff. The shelves are deeper than I expected - not deep enough to hold 2 spice containers in front of each other, though. You can alternate front and back to fit more spices in, though, and I can put bigger things like my bottle of honey. My dissatisfaction comes from the directions. I first put the brackets all the way at the back of the cabinet, but it wouldn't pull down that way. The brackets should be more in the middle of the shelf. There is wasted space under the "steps", but I get more vertical space in the shelf and it's easier to see everything in the cabinet. Overall, I'm pleased. see less

I have seen this idea for years and put off buying it....my mistake....It arrived and I took out all the spices piled on one tiny shelf. As many times as I have tried to reorganize with mini shelves or spinning type organizers they didn't work...Took no time at all and before I knew it all spices were right at hand to spot and return to their own little spot. I have the larger one and able to store larger and smaller bottles...The first week I peaked in the cupboard each morning ....and marvel at the working organization I now have.. I have a very small spice cabinet in my cramped kitchen. I was looking for something to fit into it that could hold all my spices, keep them organized, and most of all, I could find what I needed without having to take out every single spice! This rack is PERFECT!! It fits all my spices, even my larger bottled ones. I love the labels that come with it as well ,although I haven't put them on it yet. I am So in love with this spice rack! I use to have to climb up and dig threw all the spices above my stove, but now I don't have to! It's Wonderful. The pre-printed labels is came with had a lot of the spices I put in the rack, and the ones that did I easily printed labels for them on the blank label sheet. I love that it gives you the template to use in word so you can easily print your own. You just have to make sure you type the name at the bottom of the sections so that it prints in the correct spot. I did a few test prints on regular paper first and held the label sheet up to it to make sure it was going to print where it should. Also, the fact that the back slots hold the bigger containers is so perfect because I had exactly 9 larger containers. see less

I bought the Olde Thompson 20-jar spice rack to free up precious drawer space, where I previously kept my bottles of spices. I like the compact design of this spice rack. The bottles, however, are already filled with the manufacturer's choice of spices, and the lids are labeled in white with the name of each spice. I did not see this information in the online description of the item.The flip-tops are very convenient for measuring or pouring out the contents; however, they are not air- or water-tight, and you may need to replace your spices before you can use them up due to spoilage. I am going to black out the names of the spices that I don't keep on hand with a black marker, but I am not sure how I will be able to re-label the lids so that I can see the name of the spice without having to pull each bottle out of the rack first. see less

This box is bigger than I had pictured in my head when I ordered it....but I love it! Since I have a pepper grinder, I plan on having a couple different kinds of salt in my bowl. I currently only have some kosher coarse salt in the one side but I want to also get some of that himalayan pink salt for the other side of the bowl. It's really awesome and so easy to use. My toddler loves to get "a pinch" and throw it on our popcorn as it pops! see less

I bought this spice rack because I have very limited counter and cupboard space, so the typical counter-top and inside-cupboard style racks weren't working for me. I also have no place on my wall to hang a rack. I felt like my only option was something that would fit on top of the back of my stove. The space from the back of my stove to my fan/hood is 10.5 inches, and that is exactly how tall this rack is, so I was extremely happy when I found these on Target.com. I bought two of them, since my stove is wide enough to put them side-by-side, and I am absolutely ecstatic now to have my spices in a convenient place that is also completely out of the way! I ordered two of these spice racks, which were promptly delivered. They easily fit regular-sized (Spice Islands, McCormick's, Morton & Bassett) spice bottles. They hold five jars to a row, so that is your figure for calculating what you need. This also comes in a 3-tier model. I just ordered another because I discovered I had more spices than I realized (as well as several duplicates); this is what happens when you keep them on a cabinet shelf. The only downside to these racks is that they are made of alder. Alder, like birch, is a "light" wood. That's a plus for weight but not for strength. I can foresee that these would be easy to break. If you have children, you may wish to consider that.The style is minimalist, which works very well with the wood, and makes for a very attractive rack.Overall, I am very happy with my racks and looking forward to getting my third so that I'll have all the spices out and a cabinet shelf freed up. see less

These are very nice for leftovers or for taco fillings. They look nice sitting out, then you stick the covers on them and toss them in the fridge. Be sure that you only put the lids on the upper shelf in the diswasher like it tells you to. My boyfriend dosen't read very well!:) They will shrink. I gave this four stars because the bottom two shelves don't fit normal sized spice bottles in them. I ran out of room on the top shelf to put all of my regular-sized bottles and had to put them back in my cupboard since they won't fit on the other two shelves. Other than that, it's so much more stylish than those hokey wooden spice racks my hippy parents have at their house. I will echo the other reviewers complaints regarding the flimsy silver painted plastic construction and note in addition to this that the spice label started to wear off after a little more than a month of use (names are inked/sprayed onto the tops of the jars as you can sort of pick out in the photo).There are so many choices out there for spice racks don't waste your time with this one pick another! see less

I really fell in love with this spice rack, it was both entertaining and functional! but when it arrived in the mail it was broken and I found out that the whole spice rack isn't chrome, just the sides! The rungs that hold the spices in place are actually silver painted plastic! and flimsy plastic at that! If it had actually been metal, I would have said that it was perfect. Too bad! see less

I really really REALLY did not want to get one of these. I thought they looked flimsy and tacky. However, our spice rack took up most of the room in the tiny spice cupboard in a tiny apartment kitchen, and the other spices were out of hand. We tried to find a shelf riser, but none are that small. I grudgingly consented to the Swivel Store, and turns out, it was perfect for our needs. The mechanics of it are rather ingenious-- each sliding shelf is a counterweight to the other, so it never has even threatened to tip. I have to concede that it is a good product. I do wish the plastic was just a bit sturdier, and that it looked a little less "cheap," especially as the price is not. see less
