I use this saucepan nearly everyday to cook various things from oatmeal to bechamel to steamed vegetables. After two years, the pan still looks fantastic. Silicone handles mean I don't need a towel to grab the hot pan or top. My only gripe is the lid. The metal ring around the glass lid angles inwards to fit nicely with the saucepan. Depending on what you're cooking, however, food can get caught at the angle formed between the glass lid and the metal ring...a real pain to clean. see less

I would give this 5 stars if I had an electric range. But we moved and have a new gas range so silicone handles on our pots is KEY but also the base surface area needs to be larger so the heat goes into the pot and not up the sides causing liquid to sizzle and steam when stirred. (causes splattering/burning) PLEASE makes these with LARGER bases for GAS RANGE OWNERS! see less
