A really cute reproduction of the stool I remember. It is smaller than I thought it would be. It took a while to put together, but I enjoy having it and it is a comfortable seat. I would recommend this to a friend. see less

First, what I do like about this stool. I like the color. The heigth is perfect for sitting at my counter chopping veggies and preparing meals. The padded seat is comfortable to sit on and I can reach things on higher shelves using the steps. I like the rubber tips on the legs that keep it from slipping and scratching the floor. What I don't like is that every time I try to move the stool, the steps totally fall out of the stool...it is awkward to move. In the Cosco stool my mom had the steps were attached to the stool and folded out. This stool is not as sturdy and heavy as the one my mom had. [...] the screw holes were not accurate making it difficult to put together (this is from my husband who put it together for me). For the most part, it serves my purpose. see less

I ordered this for my renovated kitchen, which looks fairly old-fashioned, because I remember a similar chair from my grandmother's kitchen in the 50s. It is sturdy, attractive, and useful. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the step-stool only slides out; in the original it tilted up and out, which was a bit more efficient. But that is a very minor quibble. The chair is also perfect counter-height. see less

I bought this for my 2 yr old Grandson. I had been looking for one that was not too tall or Heavy for him. I had been looking for one that i liked for him and found they were all over priced and cheap looking. I bought this one and decorated it myself with a disney theme and I just love the way it turned out. Small enough for him and I turn out way cutier than anything else i was looking at. I bought this for my 2 year old, and it is great! It is not so high that he would fall off and hurt himself, but is high enough for him to reach the sink. (he is 36 in and he can reach the water to help wash hands, but not the handle that turns on the water in standard bathroom sink heights). It says it supports 200 lbs, so even older kids can safely use it (my 200 lb husband tested it to to be sure!) It is very easy to unfold, and not so easy to fold (which is perfect when I don't want the stool to accidentally fold while in use). The letters are cute, and it is light enough for my son to carry around for fun. You may want something a little taller if you're purchasing for a 1 year old, though. I wish other reviewers wouldn't base their 1 star reviews on the fact that they were silly enough to think a bright blue step stool with the alphabet on it was for adults... see less

The step stool fits perfectly. The wood looks so nice and blends with our KI that we have permanently left the stool in front of the island sink so kids can wash their hands. Our only complaint is that we had to peel the manufacturer sticker off and it took a little scrapping. Otherwise, the stool has been safe and sturdy for our 3 children, ages 2, 5, and 8. see less

My one complaint with the stool is the instruction for how to close it was not very clear (to me at least) so I almost broke the lever off trying to figure it out. I liked the white and I knew the quality of my existing chair so I got it and I am not disappointed. I purchased the Disney Tinkerbell Step Stool for my boyfriend's 4 year old daughter as one of her Valentine's Day gifts. This was my 1st Valentine's Day w/ her. She LOVED it! To see the excitement in her eyes when she saw her favorite Disney character on a PURPLE step stool. She took it straight to the bathroom to try it out! It is the perfect size! She was so eager to use it she even went into the bathroom in the dark and she's usually afraid of the dark :) I highly recommend this for little girls. see less

The Disney Faries Step Stool was smaller then I realized that it would be. I am disappointed in the design on the front...faded looking. Tinkerbell's wings are needing sparkles/color or something to make them look more attractive to the eye.. There are two strange white circles outlined in blue where her feet are..WHAT ARE THESE? The plastic looks like it might scratch eaisly. I do like the rubber bumps on the top for no skidding.Overall I am dissappointed in this as a gift. It looks like an upside down bed pan..sorry Disney you missed on this one. I will return it. see less

I bought this in espresso and when my 36" 31 pound 2 year old stood on it and leaned forward to turn on the faucet it slid right out from under her feet-Luckiy I was there to catch her before she hit her face on the countertop! My bathroom has regular ceramic tile-not a surface you would expect a stool designed for children to slip on. This is unsafe and is going back immediately! see less

I received this step stool as a gift for my baby shower, three years ago.The stool is cute but not very practical. Its not very sturdy to use as an actual step stool, its without a doubt meant to be used for looks only. We first used it in front of my sons bed since it was a little higher then expected once it was converted from a crib to a toddler bed. My son would fall off of it all the time because the steps are not very deep and the top is far too thin, even for little feet. When put onto a tiled floor, it will slide very easily. Since it's a little taller then most step stools, we tried to keep it in our bathroom to help my three year old wash his hands, it slides around like crazy so we sadly had to stop using it and will be going to Target now to find a new rubber bottom step stool. In all, it is very cute. A nice touch to a nursery. Its just not very useful. see less

We've had this stool for two years now. It's seen better days but my son still uses it to reach the bathroom sink. It's been water damaged and though the paint is a bit cracked, it's still there and still serves its function. The lid has a locking mechanism so it can't come crashing down on a kid's fingers either. Easy to put together, very cute, only wish it was a bit taller. see less

I knew this wasn't well built after reading numerous reviews but I purchased it because we have a small house and it's the only one I found that would fold up. We weren't surprised when the screws stripped out on it's first use. Fortunately, my husband is super handy and just put slightly larger, stronger screws in. We still handle it delicately but at least it folds up nicely into a corner. I would recommend a sturdier purchase to a friend. see less

Should be 0 stars!!! I bought this stool for my almost 3 year old to use at the bathroom sink. We liked the color and style and it was a good height. When I opened the box a STRONG chemical smell filled the room. The product was not the quality I would expect at the price. My husband was concerned about my daughter slipping on the steps of the stool, so we thought we would just put some no slip material on it. I finished assembling the stool and let my daughter try it out. She is 36" tall and weighs 31 pounds-not a big kid. She got on the stool and leaned forward to turn on the faucet and the stool immediately slipped right out from under her feet! Luckily I caught her before she smashed her face on the countertop! We have regular ceramic tile in our bathroom-the stool should not be sliding on this surface. This stool is UNSAFE and is going back immediately!!!! see less
