I was looking high and low for a 9' strand of lights to put along the edge of my bar, and these fit the bill. The little cages around the lights are solid and firmly connected. The actual lights are 5 watts each, candelabra style base, so the 10 lights on strand uses 50 watts. I am planning to replace this with LEDs at some point to save the power as these run 6 hours a day. Best of all, there is about a 2' section of cord beyond the last light for plugging the lights into an outlet. A lot of the other brands I saw elsewhere and loved, did not have that feature. I highly recommend these string lights.
these lights don't look like they give off much light but they lite up the entire backyard and our back yard is pretty large. Only whis that target would provide a place to buy replacement bulbs.
For over a year I've been drooling over Edison bulb string lights offered at a much higher price at a certain "Hardware" store. I considered purchasing multiple times, but just couldn't validate the price. Then last month I found these, and they're perfect. I actually prefer these to the ones I was looking at because the wire isn't as thick and rubbery, looking more delicate as I think string lights should. They look awesome with my vintage industrial decor.
The only problem I have with them is one of the bulbs burnt out as soon as I plugged it in. Since then, no other bulbs have burned out -over a month plugged in 24/7-. It wasn't a problem, since I'm hiding the plug and wiring with curtains, so I could easily hide the bulb. Just kind of annoying, and otherwise they're great.
