We have been using this swing for 10 weeks straight. It rocks from left to right, or right to left, or front to back. The seat itself can lay flat or at and incline. The is a mobile with a mirror so baby can look at himself or the monkeys spinning. There are 4 different sound options with multiple sounds for each. The seat is soft and easy to clean if needed. Our swing motor is not too loud and doesn't have clicking sounds. My husband and I took less then 30 minutes to set it up. The one downside is that because of its ability to go different directions the legs are very wide and take up a lot of room. see less

My mother bought this for our second son and we love it! Some of the negative reviews complain about the motor noise, there is a slight tick/click sound as it swings but it is barely audible. Other reviews complain about the tray not securing properly. I agree with that but we have found that you have to push back and down to close it tightly. I like having only one item that serves as a bouncer and swing. Sometimes my son wants to swing and other times he just wants to chill out in the floor in his bouncer and watch his brother play. Our living room is cramped so the combo is nice. One thing I wish is that Graco would include some toys for the bouncer when it's separated. There are attachment slots but no toys that came with it. We were a little bummed about that. Over all the pros outweigh the cons. My son enjoys it and we enjoy it. Well worth the money! see less

We have only had this swing for two days, but so far it has been an amazing life saver for us. Our one month old was going through a period where she was sleeping very little at night and not at all during the day. Because she wasn't sleeping during the day, she wanted to be held ALL the time making things very frustrating and at night she was a terror because she was too exhausted to settle down. The first night we put her in this she only sat in it for about 15 minutes, but it helped her to pass a lot of gas which got her to calm down for the night. Today she has taken two long naps in it and feels so much better that it's like we have a new baby! This review may be a bit premature, but so far I couldn't be happier with this swing. Pros... Very reasonably priced, super easy set up, nice material, five point harness, reasonably quite motor, two adjustable heights for swing. Cons... Will require a lot of batteries, no musics, dull toy bar. see less

I had read some negative reviews on another website regarding the battery life, the toys, and the noise. We have been using the swing for three weeks, and the same batteries are going strong. We use it for an hour total each day. I like that it is battery operated because we don't have plugs near all the places we need the swing to go. The toys are plain, perhaps boring. I wish the colors had a more intense contrast with one another. It seems that the designers went more with tasteful rather than what newborns like to look at. This is not a silent swing, but I think my kid likes the rhythmic noise. My fav feature is how easy it moves from one room to the next or outside. My least fav feature is the buckle because I find it difficult to slide the top strap onto the clasp mechanism on the side strap before buckling it in the bottom strap. The fabric looks nice but feels so-so, but I expected that with the low price. Overall, I would happily buy this swing again. see less

Wow, was so happy I got this glider swing. I love Graco so much and I use their products all the time. I love that I can put my daughter in there and put the music on. She loves it and she sleeps for a while. This helps me either to do work around the house or just to take a nap. I also like that instead of using 4 D batteries, you have the option of plugging it in which I always do. It was also very easy to take wherever I needed to take it. I love Graco brand of baby gear, because they are quality products at an affordable price. Plus they come in super cute patterns, too! This swing is perfect for a newborn up until they are crawling. My little princess screams when it's time to nap in her crib, so this swing offers the perfect solution so I can get things done around the house and she is safe and secure and lulls into a nice sleep. It takes 4 size D batteries but can be plugged into an outlet which is a plus. Batteries are expensive but they last in this swing and it makes it portable. This is great on trips as well. My baby loves this swing! When she is being cranky and I can find nothing that is wrong or that she needs I just put her into this swing and turn on a soothing melody if it is close to nap time. If not I turn on the other happy playful melodies and she seem to really enjoy them. I thing she has learned to tell me she wants to be put in her swing by crying. Just like she does when she is hungry.It's sturdy and strong yet easy to carry from room to room. You have the option to plug in into a wall outlet or use batteries. I have to say, even though I know it is very low voltage, I am not at all comfortable putting my baby into soothing that has an electrical current running through it. .All in all it is a good solid swing, that cuddles your baby in comfort and can entertain with melodies or sooth a cranky baby with the softer, soothing melodies. For right now I let my BFF use it for her baby when she is over and I have to say it's fabulous. Super soft, tons of settings, love that you can wash it.. Only one problem, I cannot get my daughter to keep her baby pony out of it, lol. Overall, I think this is a great swing that can be used for the entire time you need it... Love the soft music, it almost puts me to sleep, lol. I highly recommend this swing There are several swing speeds, a swing timer, a 5 point harness, and a buckle cover. If I had to pick something, though, it would be that it only takes batteries and does not have the option to plug in to a power outlet. My 3 month old son loves this swing. We have a full-sized swing, but he prefers to be in this swing. He coos and giggles and kicks his feet whenever we put him in this swing. I love the 5-point harness to keep him save, the recline feature, the timer, and the music included with the swing. The music isn't annoying and it doesn't get stuck in my head. The only criticism I can give the swing is that the volume setting for the music seems a bit loud, even on the lowest setting. It's nothing that would keep me from buying the swing though. see less

The chair is ridiculous because it comes in two pieces and trying to put on the seat cover was impossible with it coming apart. Then it was a pain to get the seat parts to screw together. The bouncer is not very bouncy like actual bouncers. The harness I can see as being a pain. The chair vibration I didn't try yet. It reclines almost flat, then it reclines once more as seen in the picture. The swing is relatively quiet as it swings, it has 6 speed options. The pattern on the swing is very nice, and neutral if you expect to have more children. The mobile on top is useless as it attaches with an elastic loop that doesn't spin, it just gets in the way. The music and nature sounds are useless. The nature sounds can't be heard, the music is quiet but if placed in a dead silent room, I'm sure the baby could hear it. The instructions to put this thing together are very vague. I will update further more once the little one arrives and we see how the swing itself moves with an infant in it. see less

I love this swing. This is all my son liked the first few days at home. I assembled it myself at 8 1/2 months pregnant and it was quite easy to do. The only problem I found was the tray doesn't stay down. The fabric seemed to be too tight in order for the tray to click into place. My son loves the pattern and the vibration option. The Fisher Price Swing n Seat Forest Fun is a great option for those wanting/needing a smaller option to a full size swing. It's also great for those wanting to keep from having too many bulky baby things since it serves the function of a swing and a bouncy seat. Since it is small, this is a great option for easily moving around the house from room to room, and it's compact enough to take with you on vacation or to visit grandma. The vibration feature has been great at calming our fussy baby to sleep and I like the multiple speed options. I do wish that it had a more interactive or more lower hanging overhead toy though! I agree that an additional padding around the head area would have been a nice feature, but you can get good use from an infant snuzzler added to it. Fabric is great, easy to wipe down but still soft, and I love the forest animals theme! Cute and gender neutral. see less

I highly recommend the Fisher Price Swing N Seat Forest Fun for families with new babies. This travel swing is a life saver in soothing my newborn son who at times can be fussy. My favorite feature with this product is that it has many settings and speeds that can be used depending on the mood of the baby. Additionally, the vibrations are nice to calm baby and aid in putting him right to sleep. Assembly of the swing was simple and the directions very easy to follow. The swing is space friendly and is easy to move around the house. I am able to move it upstairs when needed or back to our family room on the main level with no trouble. The only suggestions I might make for improving this product would be for it to include an insert to secure the baby's head a bit more and possibly for the hanging toy to be a bit more interactive or to hang in a way so baby can get a better look. Overall, this is a wonderful product for baby, and I would suggest its purchase to new parents. see less

This swing is awesome. It is the only peace I got for the first few months of my son's life. I bought it used and it still worked perfectly. I intend to use it for my next child as well. I would put my son in it and no matter what kind of mood he was in he would become content and happy. He absolutely loved it and I absolutely loved having a bit of my sanity back. He would fall asleep in it and sleep for hours. If I could only meet the person who made it I would give them a big hug and say thank you. I only wish you could plug it in but in all honesty the batteries last a while. I think I'd change them about once a month and my son spent a lot of time in it. I absolutely love this swing! When my little one has a tummy ache, I turn it to the swing position (front to back). Otherwise, she seems to prefer the cradle position (side to side). It's easy to use, easy to move, easy to change positions. The mobile has individual arms that move up and down as well as circular, and my babe seems to be fascinated with the dome mirror in the middle. There are lots of songs and sound options. You can have just the mobile, just music, just swing or any combination. This also has volume control. The soft sound it makes when it swings back and forth seem to comfort the baby. This just provides a much needed break when on or both of us is tired from rocking, walking, or bouncing. I would definitely buy this again. see less

The first time we put our son in this swing it would barely move even though he was only 5 weeks old and well under the weight limit. Then we realized you have to give it a push to get the swing going and then the motor maintains the speed. Our son loves the moving mobile, mirror and the decorative monkey and hippo screen. We have had this swing for our newborn son a month only and it is starting to make a clicking sound as it sways. It is quite annoying and did not do it before. It may be from moving it at a point where the swing couln't take being pulled etc. My son loves his swing, loves the nature sounds the most and falls right to sleep in it when he is cranky and sleepy. This was really easy and quick to assemble. I like that it has all the bells and whistles - vibration, lullabies/nature sounds and a mobile. I think it is cool that the swing itself is pendulum style, so it swings just as fast as you want it to. If I was to wish anything to be different, there are two things. The first is that the mobile hangs a bit low. Once my son was about 3-4 months old, he could reach up and yank at it, so we had to remove it. The second is that the electric cord feeds into the right side leg. This made it challenging as to where in the room we would be able to put it. I would have rather had it in the middle even if it was exposed and not hiding up the leg. see less

The cozy coo has been a great addition to our baby gear. I like that the swaying motion makes no sound - unlike a traditional baby swing that I also own - the cozy coo makes no noise when you start it up, or while it is swaying. I like that it has different speeds depending on if I want my baby to sleep, or just be content while I'm busy. With multiple kids in the house the white noise type sound features help to block out surrounding noise that could startle my baby. Probably the best feature of the cozy coo in my opinion is that it plugs in - no batteries required! It seems like everything else for baby requires batteries, so I love that feature. The cozy coo while very sturdy, is not portable, you will have to find a permanent place for it in your home as it is heavy to lift and somewhat bulky. To be honest, I was a little bit reluctant to order this swing, however for my first child I spent almost 200 for fisher price swing that wasn't worth it - we went through batteries like you go through water, and our son didn't like being in it at all. So we sold it for 50 after using it for 2 months, and decided to buy something that seems to be a better invention, and it is. It looks amazing, and does a great job - not only it swings in different positions but also in different speeds and you can attach your ipod/iphone and turn on any music you like. Also, like the different positions you can put your child from sitting to laying. Will be ordering plush so it's more soft! see less

I was so excited to order this from all the target gift cards we got. I saw it given away on the Ellen DeGeneres show. It took a friend and I about 45 min to an 1 hr to put together. Love all the settings. kangaroo, tree swing, rock a bye, car ride, and ocean wave. I used to connect the ipod to it but the speakers aren't that great so I just stopped. Baby didn't mind. Swing is very easy to unzip and put in the wash when dirty. Wish the buckles came out so I could wash them too. For the price, I wish the toys on the top moved by themselves. When I was pregnant with my first child, I did A LOT of research on which swing to buy. I found this swing, but in blue, and bought it and LOVED it! I had no idea they made such awesome swings now. It has everything. There are multiple lullabies and nature sounds to choose from and you have the option to have a light show play as well and different volume settings. You can also choose to rotate the swing 3 different directions. Front facing and left or right. Granted, if you have a heavier baby, like I did, it does tend to go a little slower, but that didn't affect my son at the least. When he was a newborn, I would put him in it and he would sleep for 3 hours! That thing was a life saver. Over all, I would definitely recommend this swing! see less

I got this as a gift from my baby shower. The product was easy to put together and is absolutely beautiful!. I read many reviews about other swings and it seems that there really is no perfect swing. They all seem to have problems with either noise or a weak motor. Luckily, so far the motor is going strong though it is a little nosier than I expected, it really is not to bad. I am doing this review bc ours just now burned out and we used it every day for 7mo! At the beginning I used it every day for 3-4 hours. Our son was almost 7 lbs at birth and now at 7mo is 17 lbs and it still was swinging. The motor burned out, unfortunately. I had to change batteries abt every 3-4 wks. Only used name brand batteries. I like the travel feature as it fits between doorways to move room to room, as well as in the vehicle to gma's. using it as a normal swing height was wonderful when son was so tiny. We just bought another brand to replace this one as our store did not have a similar Graco one and I couldn't wait to purchase online. The other one is teeny tiny and does not extend to normal swing height. Personally, I like this seat bc it seems comfy. It simply snaps around metal tubing. Our son loved it. see less

My son's 5.5 weeks old and we've been using this since he was a week. We don't usually use the music or vibrate functions, but they may become more useful if he gets fussier. He loves the swing. and it soothes him right away. It is helpful to give it a little nudge to help built momentum faster. We haven't had any issues with the battery. There are only 2 things I would change 1.The hippos are ugly. We cut them off and made a loop to hang other toys. 2. It's a little difficult to move with one hand and a squirmy baby in the other. Got it for Christmas! The fabric is nice and gender neutral for our boy/girl twins! It swings great! it sits really low to the ground which is what we wanted and it is compact. I only wish it folded in half to be stored since our space is limited. We wanted it low to the ground for our small dogs to look in on the baby. This swing is probably one of the best purchases we've made thus far, for our baby girl. Not only is it absolutely adorable, but the functionality of it is impeccable. At first we didn't want to be one of 'those parents' who got everything girly, but after seeing it, we couldn't resist! It's ridiculously soft all over and has soft colors --perfect for baby. The cover of the seat comes off so it can be washed. It cradles her perfectly all around -unlike some swings that seem more like chairs, this is like a little baby cup. It has a gushy little head pillow for her comfort, and adjustable straps. There's a little mobile with a mirror in the middle. When she was finally old enough to see it, this became her favorite entertainment. And there's nothing cuter than seeing your baby 'talking' to her reflection. True to the description there are three different positions for the seat (forward facing, or facing each side) that are switchable with a single button; and two reclining positions (more sitting up, or laying down for little naps). This swing has TONS of tones to play, from music, to nature, to water, to bird calls -all with adjustable volume. And while the music will eventually stop, it only does so after about 20 minutes, so you don't have to run back and forth putting it back on every few mins. There are 6 different swing speeds - though personally, I've never had to put it past '3', since it's perfect speed for my little girl. When you set the swing up, it appears to take up a bit of space, but it doesn't. The legs make a circle, and the space it takes up is sort of like a big sphere - but, they give it a lot of stability, which is something we were concerned with when shopping for a swing. I'd have to say the best feature though, that we were very hard-pressed to find with any other swing, is that it plugs in! Her bassinet had a similar sound /vibration machine on it, and after going through batteries by the dozen we knew, in the future, all her products needed to plug in. There is, of course, an option to use batteries, if you were bringing it along and didn't have a power source. The fact that it plugs in makes everything SO much easier. It not only saves a ton of money -which, as a parent, has become very important; but, it also saves us the trouble of a cranky baby who wants to go in her swing but we're out of batteries. All in all I would definitely recommend this swing, or it's counterpart (the boy version) to any and all new parents/grandparents. It's so comfortable for baby, and now that she's around 4 months, she prefers to take her naps in it while mommy does work and chores. Just having a few moments to yourself, and knowing that your little one is snuggled up and happy is amazing. The one downside to this swing -they don't come in adult size. :( see less

This swing has been good for getting my daughter to nap. She started out preferring the cradle motion. Now, she's onto the swinging motion. She doesn't seem to find any entertainment value in it, though. My son had one he loved. I like that this swing uses batteries or can be plugged in, because we used to eat through batteries with my son's swing. My only real gripe is that the music automatically shuts off, because my daughter's eyes pop right open when the music stops. I haven't had any issues with the motor, as others have stated, but it's only been 2 months. I'll update my review, if necessary. Overall, I don't regret buying this swing. We bought this swing for our 5 week old daughter and she absolutely loves it! It's great that it has the two different swinging motions - she likes both - and the music is actually soothing compared to most children's activity centers and swings which are usually loud and obnoxious. The settings are very customizable - 6 speeds, a wide range of volume settings for the music & nature sounds, and it even has an automatic mobile to keep her entertained. This is a super cute swing and was fairly easy to assemble. The only possible drawbacks are the price - one of the more expensive swings - and the very wide stance of the supportive legs. You have to have a decent amount of room to set this up so if you're short on space although this is a great product in terms of quality and functionality - it may not be the product for you. see less

We love this swing. Our baby has used it every day since she came home from the hospital three months ago. I think the best thing about it is that it doesn't use batteries, it plugs in, although the specs say battery required. The head support that came with it is useless but we just used a head support/ body support that we purchased separately from target. Without this she is a little too slumped in the seat but I am sure she will grow into it. This swing was really easy to put together and the pattern is very pretty and neutral. We also purchased the pack and play in this same pattern. I would highly recommend this swing. see less

The pattern on this swing is very pretty and the material is nice, as well. However, the Travel System has a velour-type headrest, while this swing has one made out of more of a fleece-type material and is beige, instead of the greyish color used in the carseat and stroller. It's pretty large, also, and the seat for the baby is really deep so if your baby is smaller, you may have to wait a bit to really use it, or maybe just put blankets underneath so she doesn't sink in so low. Besides those issues, it is very smooth and has a lot of different sounds for your baby to enjoy. see less

I bought it after returning a different swing from a well known brand that was so noisy and rickety right out of the box--that one didn't last 1 hour in my house-we immediately returned it. Anyway, this swing lets your baby swing side to side or back and forth. This is an awesome feature because my little one likes different scenery sometimes..he never gets bored. The variable speeds are great too. I like that you can choose "barely swinging" up to "pretty fast" speeds. The harness is a breeze to strap them in and unstrap them when they are fussing. Overall, I really like this swing. Although, I would love it if the sounds were programmable to last as long as the swinging movement. You can choose up to 90 min. of swing time but there is no option to choose timing on the music. We have been using this swing every day for two months now...and best of all....you can plug it in!! see less

This seat moves slowly even on the fastest speed. Our daughter never would fall asleep when placed in it and would only stay in for a few minutes. If she was already asleep she would tolerate it for around 30 minutes. It's also very noisy and the faster you need it to go the louder it gets. You can get a better swing for half the price. The first 5 minutes he was in it, he was not happy... but since the swing has so many adjustments, we just changed the position/speed and he has slept soundly for the next half hour! I will say that it's supposed to have whale sounds and all you can hear is static but since it's only one of the sounds it was not enough for me to disasemble the swing and take it back. I got this swing as a baby shower gift. I did not register for this one but I figured it was Graco and it's a good brand so we decided to keep it. My 10 week old daughter really enjoys the sounds and I like that it adjusts so baby can lay back or sit up. I also like that the swing motions can be adjusted. The color and material is also nice and looks like it can be easily cleaned. Cons, the straps are difficult to strap my daughter in. The padding for the straps that it came with are cheap and do not stay on. When it's being used it makes a clicking noise, my daughter loves being in this but I cant stand hearing the clicking noise. Overall it's nice and can be placed neatly around my house. It is not heavy and the battery life on it is pretty good. see less

The only things I did not like is the seat belts are a little rough. I cant fasten my son in if he is not wearing clothes. And I wish it would sit up a little further for the bigger babies. I originally put this item on out registry, thinking that if we got it, it would be wonderful, if not we will find another one later. However, we received it a month before delivery. I put it together while on "bed rest" and it was completely easy to assemble. Once baby got here, he did not like it at first. Hated it! Yet, about a month later he was in love with it. It will put him to sleep everytime I put him in it! We love the nature sounds, especially the ocean waves, that goes with the movement of the swing. He is now 6 mths, we use this at least 5 days a wk, for an hour to 6 hrs a day. We have changed the batteries 3 times. Love the 3 different setting for the seat.The only down fall I had with it, was the mobile was not battery powered, it only swayed with the movement of the swing, and the arm it was attached to kept falling back. However, all in all, I would recommend this product to every person! Great pruchase! see less
