I actually purchased and turned it into a hanging chandler over my daughters white vanity. It's pretty with a clear light bulb in it. She looks like a princess sitting at her vanity. Going to use the lamp part as soon as we get a shade for it. I too was a bit hesitant with the plastic beads but it really is pretty lit up. see less

Yes, the beads are plastic, not glass, and if you look REALLY closely, you can tell the beads are strung together with string, but all in all, it is a great buy, and soooo cute, especially for a youth or teenager's room, which is why I was purchasing it. I love this lamp!!! I ordered it online&when I first got it in the mail I was hesitant because yeah, it is plastic beads but big deal--you're paying $, whatd you expect? But I swear if you put a CLEAR light bulb thats 25 watts in it it looks soo cute, romantic, expensive!!! Definitely glad I bought it!!! see less

I am decorating my[...] daughters room in pink, white, and brown.She has pink and chocolate walls, white furniture, white mirror, and white picture frames. I wanted to add some girly accessories to her room and thought this was very cute. She loves this lamp and it will do but I think it's more money than it shoud be for the quality. Overall it's ok and she's happy. I have in a 40 watt bulb but it really needs something much softer. see less
