I purchased this tent for its ease of set up, but as far as it holding a queen sized air mattress it does, and not room for anything else. It's a great product but too small for 2 people, their gear AND a queen mattress, purchased the 6 person tent and still waiting for it to arrive.

Out of the 8 tents purchased in the last 3 years, this one wins!
I bought this tent the first time for a desert-camping trip. It withstood high winds, when tied down with rope and rebar, and remained surprisingly dust-free during dust storms. I loved it so much that when it came time to put the desert one in storage and head back to the rainy North East, I purchased another!
In rain and wind, the second one held strong and was dry inside. The only moisture came from dew accumulation dripping from the center point after three straight days of torrential downpour. I can easily set it up and take it down myself, which is a huge feat for a 5'3" woman, though it is always easier with an extra set of hands. The only fault I have found is that it does seem to heat up rather rapidly, moreso than other tents I've had it seems, without a shade structure like a 10x10 pop-up over it.
All in all, best TWO purchases I've made in my camping life.
Love how easy this tent went up. Many years ago, I had a tent that had the poles attached but couldn't find another one to replace it until now. Another plus is that a rain fly is not needed, as seams are all taped and tent is considered waterproof on its own. I always hated the extra work of putting on a rain fly correctly. One downside is that the fabric was advertised on the web site to be 150 denier yet what I received was only 75 denier. A little disappointing (why the discrepancy, anyway?) but should be fine for occasional summer camping. I did have to return this tent due to two small holes noticed when setting it up for a practice run in the living room. However, I liked it enough to re-order it.
Bought this tent for a family of 6 ! We camped three days at palo duro state park. Our first night camping there was a bad thunder and lighting storm. This tent never leaked and the high winds never blew the tent around. We bought some extra bigger tent stakes to go with the ones that came with tent. It rained all three nights and no water in tent it was great. The screen room on the front of the tent allows air in the tent with no water getting in. I would buy Swiss gears tents from now on !! Setup to 2 adults 15 mins
We got this on sale for [$] I don't know that we would have ever paid full price for it. It was perfect for 5 people (2 grown ups, 3 kids) Lots of room for beds and gear. It rained the first night and the floor stayed nice and dry, we did throw an extra tarp over the top though, just in case, so I can't say how well the tent roof repels water.
-easy to set up and take down, AND it fit back in the bag fairly easily
-quality of the materials and fit and finish are really good
-bottom is made of a very heavy duty tarp material
-the zippers did not feel like they would separate, even with the kids zipping and unzipping.
-nice and big inside
-loop on "ceiling" to hang light from
-description say color coded poles, and that is not the case-nothing is color coded, but, it's really not necessary
-description says gear loft, there is nothing like that
-not really a 10 person tent, no one is going to want to sleep in the porch area with no floor
-cheap metal stakes
-no power cord e-port
I bought this tent to go camping on the Minnesota North Shore. This tent was a life saver! The skeeters were so bad we had to head into the screened in area which comfortably held 2 chairs and a camping bin we used as a table. The floor is up higher to keep water from coming in. The windows were a bit high, but if you get a double high camping mattress you could see out the windows better. It is super easy to set up. You could almost do it blind-folded. The only thing I didn't like was the rain fly which was a bit involved, don't suggest putting it on in the dark. I would highly recommend. Two thumbs way up.
I bought this tent to camp on the beach. We set up during strong wind which was a little challenging because of the size of the tent but two of us were able to get it done within 20 minutes and the tent stayed sturdy through gusty wind all night. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 for comfort is because you don't get much of a breeze through it because the windows are so high off the ground so it was a little stuffy, but hey, it's camping. Otherwise the tent was great! Very roomy, very sturdy and the screen room was an added bonus! Would definitely recommend!
The first time we used this tent we were disappointed. About a half hour after pitching it began to rain. The rain lasted through the night and into the next day. To be fair, the rain was heavy at times. The tent leaked along the seams and rain seeped through the thin fabric walls. The water didn't stop until we covered the tent with plastic, and moisture remained inside for the duration of the trip. Even when the weather cleared, the plastic removed, and the walls wiped down with a towel it remained cold and damp.
It is a beautiful tent, easy to set up, and the perfect size for two adults and a full size labrador. The tent fit a queen mattress, dog bed, and had room for our bags and gear. We did not use the room divider, and are confident it will not be comfortable for eight people.
We returned this tent and opted for one that is more than "weather resistant".
It was very easy to set up. Liked that it was metal poles instead of the fiberglass poles. It was very roomy and just what we were wanting. It will be great to have this summer on our camping trips.
I have wanted the Coleman Instant Tent 14 by 10 with two doors for over a year now but it has been off the market almost as quick as it came on. Target [...] came out with the 14 by 10, with only one door, TStyle, in green and white. I hate the TStyle door so I never purchased it.
I happened to go Target this week to browse their camping section, and they now have the 14 by 10 with the D Style door in Grey and baby blue, so I instantly grabbed it. I have searched for this model online as I have never seen it before, and it appears that there are absolutely NO advertisements for it, it is a secret gem.
I was so excited when I got home I instantly pulled it out and set it up, by myself. It took me approximately 45 seconds.
I have not slept in it yet, but I can tell you, it feels and looks durable. It is HUGE. There are numerous large windows, allowing for a panoramic view. There is not a separation curtain.
I was in the market for a new family tent when I found this one at Target. The only thing I don't like is that the case is huge and is heavy, but once set up we fell in love with this tent. It took me about 5 minutes to set it up the first time in the rain, we wanted to test to see if it really was waterproof. The roof is waterproof, we did get some water inside through the seems by the hanging pockets but not enough to ruin your weekend. It rain all night and I think it did great. The door is weird but we can manage.
I was amazed how how large this tent is. It can fit our 4 ft. tall queen air mattress, a portacrib, and 2-3 sleeping bags with extra room still for luggage. We had a very bad wind/rain storm and our tent held up very strong. While other tents had to unzip some windows so that their tents would not cave from the pressure of the wind, we were able to zip up our tent completely and it did not cave at all. The setup was another biggy for me. It literally takes like 5 minutes to set up and 5 minutes to take down. The poles are already attached to the tent for you!
