Pros- Excellent pictures, excellent resolution, turns on quickly. Cons- Need to learn Coolpix/ Nikon interface well to take excellent pictures, clumsy touchscreen, takes long time to shut off. Video record button is in clumsy place. I bought this camera out of haste in a surprise trip abroad. This is my second Coolpix, but I found they changed some items on the "Scene" menu and added a few new items. The auto-brightness and auto-focus works well once you learn how to interact with the camera and the touchscreen interface. The camera is not intuitive to random people that you hand the camera to take your picture. Thus you may have pictures in which the foreground is not as bright as the background. As this is a 16MP camera, you should have an appropriate SD card. I found a 4GB too small as the average picture size is 6.5MB. The minimum SD card is 8GB or better. see less

My boyfriend bought me a Nikon Coolpix S4200 for Christmas and I've used it 2 times since Christmas of 2012 and I am very disappointed in the camera. The pictures turn out either very bright or very dark and adjusting the flash doesn't make a difference. The camera is also very slow, after taking a picture you need to wait about 15 to 20 seconds before you can take another one. If you try to look at the picture or take another one it says, "please wait for camera to finish recording." The thing is I wasn't even on recording mode. I have tried changing the settings and that has not made a difference. We are going to return this camera and buy a Canon Powershot and hopefully that camera will be better. I would not recommend buying this camera. see less

Just got this set 2 hours ago ,set up was guick ,picture very sharp but like the 1st reveiew if you push the sound past medium it overloads the speakers so I will spend [$] for amplified pc speakers and feed it off the phone jack on the back of the set . For the price its really not all that bad as I bought a [brand] for [$] at Target and 2 weeks prior I bought an [brand] set that is a very good set and pc monitor so that is why I bought this one .Same set as at [retailer] is [$] their price . I purchased this tv around February or March 2012 for my bedroom. This is my first flat screen tv. I am pleased with the picture quality. However, the sound quality is VERY poor. I usually have to turn up the volume when watching movies to hear the people better, but this causes the sound to become very distorted, fuzzy sounding. By turning up the volume does not allow me to hear better it just makes it worst to me. The price, [$], was good for the tv I just wish the sound was better. see less

I got this for Christmas in 2012. It was great at first and it but it did get some problems. Whenever I was on like safari or Instagram or YouTube or anything like that the app would just shut down and when you would go back to the app you would have to find what u were looking at. Also, the screen just freezes sometimes and doesn't respond to my fingers. I was playing with the settings and she turned on voice over where you would touch something the iPod would tell you what it is. I tried to turn it voice over off but when I went to settings I couldn't stroll down to turn it off! I tried and tried and tried but it just didn't work. I had to go to radio shack to get it fixed. Other than that, The sound is great, even better with earphones. The quality if the screen is amazing in hd. But anyway it's a really great ipod and its very strong with or without a case. I've dropped it like 20 times and still looks like new. see less

The Apple iPod is such a useful ilittle thing. Even with 16gb, you have enough room for music and apps that you want. It has super sharp details and a number of apps that it comes with like the camera and passbook and even voice recorder. With the touch screen and easy charging, it's hard not to love it. You have to love One Direction and Demi Lovato also. The only problem is that it can be slow at times if you multitask too fast. Otherwise, this product is better that other brands. Arrived quickly, in perfect shape and it works just as it should. Picture is great, especially with the HD hookup with our cable, and the best thing is there is a surround sound option, and it sounds like you have an expensive surround sound hooked up! A little pricey, but after reading lots of reviews, I went ahead with the purchase. I also purchased the Play5 and Bridge online, but they haven't arrived yet. Setup took longer than it should have, because we pressed and held the buttons instead of pressing and doing an immediate "release." But after that, the rest was easy. We and our baby were dancing and singing in no time. We ate dinner to some rock and funk from my husband's MP3 collection, put the baby to sleep by streaming a Pandora lullaby station, then went to bed after streaming some of my favorite "love jams". Control was easy from our iPhones. I'm already in love with this and wish I'd have known about this capability long ago! Having great music playing all over the house, from our local collection and the Internet, is a real mood pick-me-up and is just really fun. see less

I've owned the Sonos zone players since they came out and I added this unit to the mix for the finished basement. In the years I've owned the Sonos products I can say without question they sound fantastic and have been flawless to maintain. I've had many friends over and all have been extremely impressed with the system and how I can control from either the iPhone or Android phones. I can't say enough good things about this product. After doing some research, I learned that I can purchase the 4 GB console and add more storage space later by purchasing a hard drive for it. So that's what I did. I got my 4GB XBox 360 from Target. I then purchased a 320 GB hard drive from another store since Target did not have this particular hard drive. [...] When I got home I popped my hard drive into my XBox 360 with ease. My console is running smoothly. It is so quiet compared to the older models. Also, I love the black matte finish on this one. I also purchased a bridge, which should come with the Play 5 especially for the price. Recieved this camera for christmas eve and was so excited to take pictures on christmas day! When I started up camera it kept saying lens error! Over and over the lens wouldnt open! I was devastated when Christmas day arrived the camera suddenly opened and worked. Now days later it right back to lense error. So I will be returning it ,but love how easy it was to use. I was a nikon user before and I like the set up of canon better. Hopefully it was just a glinch and not all canon are like this. see less

So if your looking to download games on it you better use a flash drive because it won't download games like Nintendo land it takes up to 25GB. It worked just fine for one day and then the screen kept flickering. I tried everything and still cannot get it to work. I received this TV as a Christmas gift. It was a little bit of pain having to call the manufacturer for a code but after I got the code it was easy sailing. I put this TV in the bedroom without a cable box and instead of getting the standard 60 channels the cable guy I said I would get without a box this tv picked up all 300 channels. This Apex is awesome and so impressively clear. The sound is great. All around I think this is a great TV. I have an apple express hooked up to my cable modem for my wireless network. I have an apple extreme, the old round dome one, connected to the wireless network to extend the wireless range. I thought this might be an issue, but perhaps I could just hard connect the Bridge into the Extreme via its ethernet connection, and yes it worked as my router. So simple, not a hitch. I connected the Bridge per the downloaded desktop app instructions, then added a Play 3. Worked perfectly. I was very impressed and the sound quality is good also, a bit heavy on the low end but still great. see less

This is the first Gateway I've owned. The specs on the machine for the price were excellent - 6 GB mem, powerful processor, wide, hi-res screen, and big hard drive. So far I've had no issues with it, other than the obnoxious new "features" of Windows 8 for which I've had to find various workarounds in order to have a Vista/Win7-style desktop. No big deal. Just google on the problem and avoid the Microsoft answers. There's even a nice free utility that brings back the missing Start button. Bottom line - it's only been 6 weeks, but to this point I'm very pleased. see less

I bought this camera last week on my way to the Coast for vacation. I'd had another camera in mind but for the price and camera capabilities, this one ended up being the better deal. First off, the flash on my camera works perfectly. Whatever problems the other customer had, she either didn't know how to work it properly or the camera had a factory flaw. There are a TON of options for such a simple little point and shoot camera. There's 3D picture mode, a beach scene mode, panoramic shots and all the other standards from night shots to portraits and even a smart shot mode which takes AMAZING pictures. Beats auto mode hands down. The pictures it takes are solid once you figure out what mode works best for each scene. The only issue I have so far is I can't find the speed shutter mode, to take multiple pictures at once, course that might just be the sports mode and I haven't caught on yet ha-ha. Overall, for the price and quality, this camera is well worth what you pay for it. see less

I bought this camera a week ago thinking it was going to be a great camera for the price. Was I ever wrong! I've tried rechargeable and lithium batteries JUST tested the camera around the house, and both types are at half life in no time at all. I'm thinking this has GOT to be a defect, because NO camera should burn through batteries THAT fast! Also, any sort of movement in the photo, and there's a huge blur. I found the design to be putsy and not user friendly. I'm planning to return this today for a different model. If I'm denied the exchange for any reason I will be HIGHLY disappointed in Target, as I do not see myself being happy with this model or even using it. see less

The only pictures that come out decent are the ones that are in daylight. low light pictures all come out blurry. super slow shutter speed so you lose the shot you're trying to take. THE GOOD. Excellent picture quality for this class of TV. THE DECENT. The sound is decent. Small thin TVs usually get poor ratings in terms of the sound quality, but I feel that is unfair. When you have a TV as thin as a tablet computer, you can't expect sound much better than a tablet computer. While there is hardly any bass, and I wouldn't dare call it theater sound, the volume does get loud and you will not have any trouble hearing it. Most will use this TV for a bedroom or kitchen and it is sufficient for that. THE BAD. I had buggy problems with this TV. My setup had the TV hard-wired to cable television, though I was not using a cable box... I relied on the TV tuner to change channels. Unfortunately, my channels kept disappearing and I had to keep going through the channel scan process over and over... and it became very annoying. I ended up returning the TV. If using a cable/satellite box, this may not be an issue for you. see less

I tried writing a review on this TV before, but it was rejected, I think because of the expletives. So let me just say that this bleeping thing is a bleeping piece of bleep. I had read bad reviews of this brand, mostly about the sound quality. But I'm no audiophile, and I just wanted it for my bedroom, so I thought, "How bad could it be?" O. M. G. It's so indescribably bad. Here's an experiment - plug your headphones into your computer and turn the sound all the way up. Then walk across the room, getting as far from the headphones as possible. Hear that? THAT'S what the sound on this TV is like. I'm not kidding. It's inconceivable to me that anyone could approve this for the market. You can get ok sound by plugging in a pair of external speakers, but the picture quality is so sub-par that it's really not worth it. I stupidly threw all my packing materials away or else I'd have returned this the same day. So now I live with a daily reminder of my poor decision-making skills. Sigh. see less

My advice.... NEVER buy an APEX TV. I bought one for my bedroom less than two years ago and the sound already went out. Googled it and it looks like a chronic problem with this product. The company isn't willing to resolve the problem. I will NEVER EVER buy another APEX product. see less
