I bought this bed for my 2 year old granddaughter. It is her first big girl bed and she loves it. It is not too high off the ground so good height for her to get in and out of. Also has a good size side rail. Many of the toddler beds I looked at had side rails that were too short. This bed will also convert to a bigger bed when she gets too big for the the toddler size. It is well made and sturdy. I was pleasantly surprised at how well made it was considering the price. I would recommed this bed to anyone who has a child that is transitioning from crib to bed. see less

What a great bed for the price. It arrived within a week and was pretty easy to assemble. The bed is made of quality materials and appears that it will last to pass down to future kids. I love that it matches her other white furniture too. Only negative comment i can make was that the paint did smell for the first day or so after unpacking. I put the pieces aside to let them air out before putting it in my daughters room. see less

our 21 month old daughter was climbing out of her crib so we had to get her a "big girl" bed. her room is on the smaller side and we thought we'd save money by using her crib mattress with a toddler bed. it arrived and matched her existing white furniture perfectly and was also easy to assemble, my husband had no problems at all. our daughter loved it from day 1 and still enjoys climbing in to it on her own. we can even sit on it and it holds up! see less

I bought this bed for my 2 1/2yr old. She loves the bed but we ended up sending it back because after 2 nights of sleeping in it the one side rail split!! She is only 27 lbs and by no means heavy but the wood seems very lightweight and not of super high density. It is a great size and looks great but not sure how durable it is. We did get a replacement and Target was great about that but have not put it together yet. see less

I bought this for my 2 1/2 daughter. Once the bed was out together... took my husband about 2hrs im sure if I was putting it together would have been about 4 or maybe more. Our daughter also loved the My little pony bedding, it's super soft. Yes i would recommend this bed to any little girl that loves Dora! We put the bed in the same place where her crib was. I was worried that she would fall off her bed at night but she never did. The railings where just big enough. Shes super happy for the bed played in there with her toys all day today. I guess the only thing that would be a con is setup took awhile. But WELLLLLL worth it! see less

We are expecting our second child in December so we bought this bed to move our son out of the crib. He's a complete Elmo fanatic and LOVES it. Like a previous reviewer said, it's even brighter in person. Since it sits nice and low, my 20 month old can climb in and out of it with no problems. We bought this for my daughter about a month ago because she's obsessed with Elmo and it's probably one of the best purchases we've ever made. She couldn't be happier about going to bed in it - for the first week she had it all we heard about was her "Elmo big girl bed". I think the bed looks even cuter than it does online the colors are bright and vibrant and it is the focal point of her room now. It wasn't the easiest thing to assemble but I put it together myself in about an hour. I like that the bed sits low to the ground and comes with guard rails. The bed is well built and sturdy once assembled. This is a fun bed for your little one transitioning out of his/her crib. see less

Bought this for my 3 year old son and he absolutely loves it. The bed is a little pricey, but it's worth it! He loves climbing up into the bed and also playing underneath the bed. He loves to store a lot of his toys under there. I just bought a twin set and the frame and mattress fit fine in it and it sits high within the frame. However, I have not had an issue with him falling out of the bed at all. He moves a lot and so far I have been fortunate that he has not fallen out yet. see less

We don't use the underneath for storage becasue my son uses it as a fort and he has plenty of room to sit up while under there. It's great he is so proud of his bed it is the first thing he shows everyone. It is very sturd and cleans up easily. My daughter loves this bed. I love the color and the style but the thing that I love most about this bed is that there are not one but TWO side rails! My daughter is 22 months old and I was worried that only one rail would give her too much freedom to roam her room. She hasn't had any issues staying in her bed and she also is still able to get out on her own, I think it gives her the secure feeling that her crib gave her. I was a bit unsure when buying it because I thought it only came with one side rail, leaving one side open, I didn't know if my son would roll out when he was sleeping which made it a tough buy. However, after my husband put it together ,in less then an hour, we realized that it came with two which stops any child from rolling out, and that the height was perfect size that allowed my son to get in and out of it without a problem. This came, exactly as promised, 4 days after we ordered it. My 2 yo son picked it out from the pictures I showed him. it is super cute. I am a single mom and I just put it together in about an hour. Only problem I had was the wood holding the mattress doesn't have deep enough pilot holes. The screws didn't go far enough into the counter sink and stripped out the MDF. Annoying. the rest of the assembly has lock nuts, so that won't happen. When you put yours together, don't try to get the screws all the way down. Stop when they feel tight. The bed is super cute overall. My son is going to go crazy when he wakes up for the last time in his crib in the morning and sees his new "big boy" bed put together, waiting for him! see less

It is sturdy, easy to assemble, stickers went on easily and painlessly and he just loves to jump into bed! I'm using it as a toddler bed right now and my only concern is the hard plastic parts all around the crib mattress. It's on all 4 sides, nothing a couple of pillows or blankets can't pad but I am looking forward to buying a twin mattress. I like the option of leaving some stickers off too. see less

We ordered this bed on a Friday, and it was on my front porch on Tuesday! :-) We assembled the bed that night, and my 3-year-old slept in it happily. We're expecting another baby soon, and the kids are going to share a room. This bed is perfect for small rooms. The drawer underneath is nice for extra storage. The assembly instructions, however, showed the drawer opening from the other side of the bed than the picture shows (which is what we wanted). I had previously called another seller's customer service line and asked if the drawer can be switched and was told no. For those of you who want the drawer to open as shown in the picture, I don't think it would be difficult to mount the drawer on the opposite side. We were expecting to have to figure out a way to switch it, but didn't have to. Just wanted to warn you in case you needed the bed to be placed in a specific spot in the room. Overall, it's a great toddler bed that looks more like a "big kid" bed than some others we've seen. If the drawer hadn't been an issue, I would have rated it 5 stars. see less

Very fun, cute transition for my 2.5 year old son. He was so excited about his new "big boy boat bed". Slept excellent in it the very first night. It took my husband about an hour to put together. The pictures do not do justice to this product though. The blue and white stripes, as well as the wood, are a much better quality than the pictures represent. Lots and lots of things you can do when decorating a big boy nautical themed room. I added bedding from PBK's and some neat stuff from The Land of Nod catalog. see less

We got this bed for our 3 year old and it's the cutest! My daughter loves the canopy and wants to show off her "faiwee bed" to just about everyone that comes in the door. The bed is very sturdy and has side rails to keep her from rolling off plus, its low to the ground so its easy for her to get in and out of. It's built very well and I assembled it myself quite easily. We bought the matching toy box and 3 tier organizer but can't speak to their popularity because we're giving them to her for Christmas. The bed however is most definatley a 5 star item! Highly reccomend. see less

This bed is adorable. Started daughter in it at 2 she is now 3.5 and still doing great size-wise. To my chagrin, my husband has laid in it but so far it has held up, no structural issues. I think the wood my scratch easily, but I can't even tell you for sure because it is not noticeable. I just may recall when dusting it seeing some scratches. Easy to make the bed, easy to move the bed - quite lightweight. Can't wait to buy another one for second child. see less

I debated for months for beds for my 2 yr old boy-girl twins. I decided on the cars and princess beds because I thought they would be excited o sleep in them. After 3 months, they love these beds. They are just the right size and have been jumped on nightly by them and my 6 year old. Took about an hour to put both beds up. Thought being plastic they might seem cheap.
