I used to use proactive because it was the only thing that didn't make me break out even worse even though it was just ok. This toner used in conjunction with neutrogena rapid clear foaming scrub and haven't had NOT ONE NEW BREAK OUT IN OVER TWO WEEKS! I saw a difference within a week! The only bad thing is if I do t use moisturizer I do feel dry so I never skip the moisturizer and I have way better skin than I have in forever! Love, love this stuff!! see less

I have been using this toner for almost 7 years. I first found it in Ireland and used to buy it online until it came to Target. I am 54 and have virtually NO wrinkles & I give all the credit to this toner. Recently, my 27 year old daughter was complaining to me about her skin and breakouts. I recommended she try my Boots toner. She was extremely skeptical, but w/in 2 weeks she was totally amazed at the transformation! Her skin is now completely clear and looks bright and healthy! I bought this toner as replacement [...]. I got more for my money and I think the direct application onto a cotton ball instead of spritzing was more effective. This toner has a very light fragrance and tightens without being overly drying. see less

I got the combination/oily skin cleanser, this toner, and the spot treatment mask. The cleanser takes my make up off and that's just plain amazing on it's own merit. The toner calms my red skin. I never even realized I had red skin. I've always had red dots but I just figured they were pimples that were forming since they didn't have a bump yet. After I started using these two, the only red dots are actual pimples. Now for the spot treatment mask. Amazing!I had a big pimple the size of like a dime on my forehead. It appeared in the middle of the afternoon. Put it on and it was half it's size when I took it off and no dry spots! Basically, I love this line and that is a hard thing for me to say. I was so cynical and thought no products were ever going to make me feel better about my skin. The chemicals in other products do more harm than good and I used to not believe that but I took a chance on Botanics and I will travel the 20 minutes to get it! see less

I use this toner as well as the avalon vit c serum for my night time moisturization. I have combination skin and these two products together provide the perfect amount of hydration. This line of products is the best I have ever found, my skin is calm, clear, and even toned. It used to be spotty, dull, ruddy and blotchy, very unnattractive. I feel so beautiful and confident without makeup now thanks to these products. I also use st. ives green tea cleanser, olay complete senstive skin & bare minerals deep foaming cleanser. Together these 5 products have made my skin clear, smooth, bright and blemish free! I've used so many acne products but nothing works better than these. Def recommend them all. see less

I'm in my early 50's, have normal-to-oily skin, and I love this toner! After I wash my face, it'll feel a bit tight and dry. Then I use this toner and voila! No more tightness, my skin even feels cleaner and what's even better, I don't need to use nearly as much moisturizer. Even in the winter. In the summer, I can often go without. It has a wonderful, refreshing orange scent. I hope they never stop making it. I used to use [...] toner for years, but switched to this. see less

Most toners make me breakout, so I was glad to finally find this one! I usually have dry and acne-prone skin, but I have been using this product --along with the vitamin c renewal facial cream-- for a couple months and I have noticed that I am breaking out less often, scars from previous acne are fading, and my skin is staying hydrated even despite the harsh winter conditions. Also, it is a good-sized bottle, so it lasts a long time! see less

Now that I have first-hand experience with this glorious toner, I question the truth behind the technique necessary to achieve the divine porcelain skin of models commonly featured in today's beauty ads... Are the photos Photo-shopped... or do the models use Alba?! ;) Honestly, this toner is fabulous. I saw results after one use.
