I bought this toy box for my son who is now almost three. He loves it!! He even helps put his toys back in at clean up time. It is very durable because he climbs in and on it. I love that it has the 2 bins on the bottom to hold small toys. The one thing I, personally don't like is that the lid comes off. I understand the feature. It just is inconvenient for me since my child likes to take it off. Other than that it is an excellent toy box at a great price. Target definitely has the best deal!! This is a great toy box. And excellant on your budget. Super durable. Also is very spacious. I did not realize it would be so big and have so much room inside. This is excellent cause we are expecting our second in April and there will be plenty of room for both of there toys and since they are sharing a room it leaves lots of floor space for them to play but keeps the ones that they are not out of the way. Would definetly reccomend this to anyone!! Super happy parents right here. see less

We've had this toy box for about 1 week. It looks very nice in our living room, seems very well made. The inside is smooth and outside is soft. It is the perfect height. Our 13 month old has no problem lifting the lid and reaching toys at the bottom. The lid doesn't close unless you push down, even if it's only opened a little. Comes already assembled! see less

I bought this toy chest for my daughter's toys. I checked around (a lot!) before I purchased it, and chose this one. It was a good choice. The product came quickly, in a very compact box, and was very easy to put together. I did it on my own, in about 30 minutes. Even the safetly latch was easy to install, and it works very well. It looks rich and more expensive than the price I paid. The only thing to note is that the bottom is a thin piece of wood, supported by a middle piece of wood, so very heavy items may cause the bottom to drop out. I did NOT have this problem yet, but I am not storing heavy items in it. I hope that in the future it stays in tact and does not cause a problem Overall, I recommend this product and think it is well worth the price. see less

[...] We love this toy box. It's very sturdy. My one-year-old uses it to climb up on to look out the window. Also, when you open the lid it stays open until you close it, it holds a ton of toys, it has a gap between the lid and the box so the baby can't slam his fingers, and it's discrete which is nice because it's in the middle of our living room. I'm actually thinking about buying a second one for his bedroom. We bought ours in the store so we didn't have to deal with shipping issues. WELL WE WERE LOOKING FOR SOME TOY STORAGE FOR MY SON'S ROOM AND WENT WITH THIS TOY BOX. WE HAD TO GET SEVERAL ITEMS WITHOUT GOING OVERBOARD BECAUSE IT WILL EVENTUALLY BE DRAWN ON WITH CRAYON AND BANGED UP QUITE A BIT BY A GROWING ONE YEAR OLD BOY! THIS DOES THE JOB:) IT IS VERY ROOMY INSIDE AND FITS ALOT OF TOYS WITHOUT A PROBLEM PLUS I LOVE HOW THE LID STAYS OPEN AND THE GAP IT HAS WHEN ITS CLOSED BECAUSE THE LITTLE HANDS WONT GET SQUASHED!! As my husband and I put this together, one of the screw pins was not clicking into the pieces that is fits into, so as we tried to take it apart we realized the metal piece was broken clean in half. I went to the Badger Parts website and ordered a new part. I will say it came in the mail very fast. So as we were on the final part putting the lid hinges on 2 of the screws heads broke off. The toy box looks great but I am a little worried about the hardware of it. Not sure if i want to keep it for the [$]!! Luck-fully I used my target card so I saved 5 percent and got free shipping! see less

I NEVER write reviews but this is a product I feel compelled to warn people about. It's appears to be a beautiful toy chest, but it will break after one month of use. The apparatus that's function is to prevent injury to little fingers broke after 3 weeks and the hinges that hold the top onto the toy chest broke a month after that. So, now we have a wood box with no top and all my sons toys are exposed, which is NOT okay. Pretty aggravating. see less

This is a great toy box since it doesn't look like one! My son can open and close it safely on his own and he's 20 months! We think it's a great value as we compared it to many toy boxes before buying. We love the soft easily cleanable fabric for our sons room or any other room in the house - it's so versatile! The only thing that disappointed us is that the fabric was dirty when it arrived due to the fact that it rubbed thru the thin plastic bag in shipment. My husband cleaned it right off with only water so we know before we even used it that it will clean as easily as it says! Yay for that - so all they need to do is package it better for shipment and it won't arrive dirty for other customers. see less

I LOVE this toybox, so I gave it 5 stars. It's cute, matches everything and well made. BUT, just wanted to warn everyone... I was moving it across the room today, and the little pads on the bottom of it just popped right off. Wouldn't be a big deal, but they have a big NAIL sticking out of them. 2 of them came off when I moved it. So I flipped it over, and the other 2 pulled out so easily. The scary part is, I moved the box and didn't see they had come off. My twins were playing just a couple feet from where 2 extremely sharp small nails sat. My advice is to just pull them out when you get it. Shouldn't stop you from getting it, just remove them when you get the toy box. I still think it's a great box, I just want the kids to be safe! see less

We bought this item as storage for our kids' toys and it is great! We don't have a playroom so all of the toys are in the living room area. We wanted something that would fit in nicely with the other furniture. It look nice, stores a lot of stuff, and seems pretty durable so far. The safety closure works great and although the product is wood with a finish that could scratch or chip, it does serve it's purpose as a toy chest for our living room. I just bought this for my 3yr old and LOVE IT! It was super easy to assemble with a screwdriver(2 screws)even though the holes are not pre-drilled. The door opens and slides back VERY EASILY and has a saftey gap feature in the front so little fingers don't get pinched. The toy box area is very spacious and the shelves are great for books, etc. I would definitely recommend this toy box! Although to save on shipping (retailer) has it in the store and (high-end retailer) has site to store pick up. see less
