My 2 year old daughter loves this toy. It can be a little noisy, like a vacuum, but she loves it. It is just like mommy's, she takes the hose and cleans the chair or take off the dust buster and clean with that. The little white balls whirl around when it is switched on. So far no problems. My son was always imitating my husband when he mowed the lawn, so we decided to get him one of these this year. He was so excited he didn't put it down for weeks. I love the fact it doesn't take batteries and you can remove the leaf blower part. My son has had hours and hours of enjoyment with this mower. He even makes his own sounds with it. It does tip over easily, but other than that, we love it! I did my homework before buying this one and wanted to make sure it spun and moved easily on the grass(compared to a different brand that makes bubbles and is harder to push). Overall, this was the best toy purchase! see less

The first time we purchased a Step 2 product was when our twin grandsons were born seven years ago . . . we purchased the water/sand/unbrella box and picnic table, several others I can't remember at this time . . . they were 2 years old when we bought these items for them . . . they have used them faithfully every year since. A tradition began . . . since two of our other children have had kids we have purchased the same items for these other grandkids as well. We've purchased several other smaller items as well and the kids love every one of them (the parents love them too!) As I mentioned earlier -- all items purchased so far are durable and great fun! Received 2 of these for my daughter's 1st birthday, we kept the pink one. She was just starting to walk, but that didn't keep her from enjoying this toy. She played with everything on it and would sit and push it back and forth. As she learned to walk better she started walking around pushing it. Yes, the handle doesn't stay up, it's not for a child who needs to support themselves on a toy to walk, but if you work with them and give them time, they will learn to walk and push this around. It is a little noisy, ok a lot noisy, we weren't prepared for how noisy, but our daughter loves it and that's what matters. It's keep her attention, makes her laugh, easy to clean and has held up just fine for 6 months and I see it lasting a long time. see less

Bought this for my four year old. The iron makes a 'steaming' sound when it is pressed down to the ironing board-great for pretend play. The cloth cover can be removed to be washed, if needed. Collapsing the ironing board was confusing the first time, I actually had to look at the instruction booklet. Now it is a cinch. The height is great for her right now and can not be adjusted, so it won't be able to 'grow with her'. see less

My 20 month old son loves to "cook" with me in the kitchen. I am able to get dinner made while he is busy cooking at his grill. He also loves to play along with me and his two older sisters (ages 5 and 7). It is the right size to sit on the floor and play. It is very easy to clean up at the end of the day and store in his room. Lots of playtime value in this little grill! see less

I started out with buying a Mater Fisher-Price bubble mower and was disappointed. The mower wouldn't put out bubbles consistently and after a short time became hard to push for my 2 yr. old grandson. I ended up taking it back and buying the regular red Fisher-Price lawn mower for my grandson. I was disappointed in the bubble mixture that came with it because it didn't make very many bubbles. We tried the brand Gazillion bubbles and the mower works awesome with this mixture.Wow! What a difference! If you have any of the Fisher-Price mowers, use this mixture with it. It is more expensive, but is totally worth it. My grandson loves this mower so much that he pushes it everywhere even uptown to the library! I think sending a bottle of Gazillion bubbles with the lawn mowers instead of what is packaged with them now would increase the satisfaction of the customers. This is a great toy! see less

I was expecting a little tea kettle but this thing almost looks funny setting on the Prairie Kitchen, which I bought for Christmas. It is made out of wood and is kinda heavy for a small child. Don't know if I would buy this again, it's a little pricey for an oversized toy that looks akward for the kitchen it was spose to be for. But it is an excellent quality toy. Made nicely. This little sewing machin ... see more

This little sewing machine works surprisingly well. The kit itself came well-stocked with fabric, a pin cushion, thread etc to make it easy to start a project. The foot pedal works well and in no time, we made pillow cases and bags. One draw back is the unthreading of the needle, so be sure to pull a long tail of thread and pull it back behind the needle otherwise it coils up and springs out - and the eye of the needle is teeny tiny. Eye strain to re-thread! My nephew recently visited his Nona and was much taken with her sewing machine and sewing ability so Nona thought this would be a fun gift. Good call. After making a few items, on Day 1 he gathered 6 friends from the neighborhood and they all wanted to try out the machine and make their own bag. Hurray! The bag we made on Day 2 is being used for summer camp on Day 3. Success! BTW way - I gave 4 stars on durability because we have had the machine less than 4 days. see less

I bought this for my 9 year old daughter. I think that sewing is a thing of the past for many of our youth now days. Some of my best times as a child were made with my sewing maching - making my own doll and barbie clothes. With this toy, I am now able to pass on those memories to my daughter. This is a great starter machine for even my daughter. just keep a close eye so that they dont injure themselves. it actually works compared to a few other cheaper ones Ive bought before. It includes all the materials necessary to start a project (from a wrap skirt to a tote bag). Simple enough projects that kept mine and my daughters interest all the way through from beginning to end. Instructions included of course. Whats nice also is that there is a case for the machine and it is very adorable! Well worth the money and I highly reccommend this machine. see less

My son received this mower for his first birthday in March. He used it to help him balance as he began walking! My three year old daughter and her friends love to play with this toy as well. We've noticed it seems that this mower is a favorite no matter what the child's age! Even older kids, who were 5, 6, and 7 yrs. old, have played with it! I picked this Little Tikes mower over the "bubble" one because I didn't want to deal with the mess of bubbles. The kids love it, but they can't push it through the grass. Even I have a hard time pushing it through the grass. So it's great for indoor use and on flat surfaces, but doesn't work in my yard. I think it may be due to the wheel guards it has. It does make great sounds!! see less

My kids LOVE this toy! It is really wonderful. They have so much fun cutting the fruit (velcro) that I plan on purchasing more cuttable food for Christmas! Everything is very durable and well made except for the stickers (Blender "buttons"). Thankfully, I caught on to it before the kids did. I was able to Mod Podge (sp?) it and that did the trick! The buttons are now sealed and I don't have to worry about them pealing the stickers off. Why didn't the manufaturer just do that in the first place? see less

They sent a replacement without me having to send the original. It was sent right away and happened to be the wrong piece. My daughter just loves this toy. It is fun for pretend play as well as to make the ice cream. Adult help is needed, but it is very easy and the ice cream is yummy. It only makes enough for one serving each time, but that makes a nice snack. After the ice cream freezes, it is sometimes hard to get the lids off. I just make sure I line up the arrow and then use a knife to help it open. This is a neat hands on experience for children and cooler than the little snow cone makers etc. because it can be used for pretend play as well. It is also small enough that it does not take up a lot of space in the garage or the house. So far we have only used it in the house. I do think the [$] is a bit much to pay so if you can get it on sale...great! see less
