A little smaller than I thought, but still absolutely perfect. Anyone who says this piece of furniture is difficult to put together, obviously has a serious reading problem. It's no more difficult than putting together LEGO's pay attention to the instructions, and it goes together fine. This is the 3rd Carson Espresso collection item in our home, and we plan on purchasing more to go with this piece in the family room. The other pieces have been just book shelves. For twice the price, we could have purchased junky items that were similar, and similar in construction, from the local furniture store, so this is a great deal. see less

Just purchased this TV stand. Instructions are very lacking. Just make sure the top and bottom arrows face toward you. This will be the front. I was able to put it together by myself. It took about 4 hrs since I had to take apart and redo. The only problem is the shelves are only 15 inchs wide, so my satalite box and DVD player do not fit inside. They should have made the drawers a little smaller to allow a wider shelf. see less

I purchased this on 9/30/12 it arrived [...]. It is lightweight so if you live in apt. it's easy to get upstairs. This stand is just as well built & the quality just as good as any stand that costs much more money. Easy to build, directions are easy to read. in the 2nd picture it appears the doors are clear they are not, they are plastic which sounds cheap but they are very sturdy plastic & look nice when all done. Very happy with this purchase. It makes the room look so much nicer. With my sound bar mounted under the tv it looks very sleek and classy, while still being well built and solid. I have a Google tv box, PS3, cable box and hard drive, Blu Ray play and the subwoofer on the shelves and there is still room for my wireless router. Assembly took about 1.5 hours by myself but it was worth it. The price is more than some other 3-in-1 units but I have all black furniture so I paid the extra gladly. see less

I have a lot of Target furniture in my apartment, some stuff better than others - this really does NOT look like it came from Target. This is a very solid piece of furniture. Plenty of space inside and the shelves are adjustable. Hides all the wires. I will agree with the other reviewer, the shelves and the top piece are more black than espresso, but it doesn't bother me. I put this together by myself and it took just over an hour. There are a lot of 'cam locks' but all the little parts are grouped together and labeled to match the instructions. You'll need a small phillips head screwdriver. Mine was shipped with a few scratches and dings which I wasn't too happy about but nothing overly noticeable. I was able to use a brown furniture touch up pen to correct most of them. Overall a great purchase and it looks awesome in my living room. see less

Great looking TV Stand. Meets all of my needs. For whatever reason I thought the glass on the doors were frosted, but the glass is not. The clear glass is fine. My niece and nephew put it together for me in about 30 minutes. There were two pieces that had small dings in them, but not noticeable if you were not looking for them and given that this item shipped out before the hurricane hit and arrived after, I am surprised there was not more dings. I would recommend this to others and I may pick up another one. Wish the stand was cheaper though. I have taken two pictures of the stand, so hopefully I can figure out how to attach them. see less

Purchased this for a projection tv that weighs about 60 lbs. Ours is not wobbly at all with the legs on as some other reviews have said. I was afraid this was going to look too 70's based on the picture, but it actually looks a lot better in person. It's a lot darker than the picture and looks more modern. You could easily leave the doors off to have all 6 shelves exposed, or add knobs to them. I was afraid the quality would be poor based on price, but this is an awesome product! see less

--this stand is really nice. the wood is a black painted textured wood. the metal columns are really nice too. Very easy to put together. I couldn't give them 5 stars for quality as one of the wood pieces was defective and had a scratch/gouge down the top of it. I called the company convenience concepts and they sent me a replacement right away. If Target had a customer service ranking I'd give this manufacturer a 5 star for that. mount is perfect in every way.Price,construction,materials and design.The only area that can use improvement is the screws that attaches the mount to the wall.It comes with 2inch screws,you really will need 3 and a half inch screws to secure the mount to your wall studs.This mount can not stand on its feet because there is no feet.This is a wall mounted tv stand.I originally hired a company to mount this product but ended up mounting it myself when they did not show up and it was very easy to do with a measuring stick,pencil, bubble level and magnetic stud finder.Shelves are sturdy and all cords to your gear is hidden behind the panels.Great product see less

My 13 yo put this together in less than 2 hours. Looks great, is sturdy, and is deep enough and has a lip to limit tip overs. 1. Well packed and pieces clearly marked. You do need to make sure you orient what is in front of you to the diagrams in the instructions to avoid errors. 2. When you work with particle board you have to get it right the first time - start screws by hand, go slowly when screwing things in, snug each fastener first, and don't over-tighten - keeping these in mind will help you a lot. 3. When you go to put on doors, loosen the set screw so you have room to work or even separate the hinge The doors on ours then required no further adjustment and open/close nicely and quietly. I would encourage those who don't assemble this stuff routinely not to be worried that putting it together will be a difficult or all day affair. see less

It arrived mostly intact. One medium ding on one of the side panels where it wont be seen where I'm using it. The wafer board covered with wood veneer panels look nice. The instructions are well written and logical nice for a change. You will need a drill and 1/16" bit for predrilling the small screws for the back panel. Also having 4 or 5 cups to presort the hardware is a good idea. Having a helper is also a really good idea. Everything else only requires two phillips head screwdrivers - no.2 for the cam screws and no.1 for the back panel screws. It took about 2 hours to put it together. You will also need a large trash bag just for the styrofoam packing. The only construction issue was one of the cam lock holes for the top to side panel was misdrilled. I had to lay on my back and carve out the bottom edge with an exacto knife of it get it to work properly. see less

Assembly was moderate. A two-person job. My only negative is the packaging. By the time it arrived at my door, the packaging was falling apart. Also, there were a few dings on the pieces, but fortunately, you can't really even see them once it's assembled. Overall, I am very pleased with it. see less

Overall, very happy with it. The picture makes the size of the table seem a little misleading. This table is HUGE! I put a 67" DLP TV on it and it sits perfectly at the wide ends, albeit a little too high. This thing is heavy, made mostly of solid wood, and looks magnificent. Only gripe I have is that 2 parts came in defective, one probably due to shipping abuse--the back panel had a cracked corner that fell off while I tried to assemble it, and the second defect was what appears to be a drill hole that was filled in with resin, and glue or resin stains around it on the right glass door. Not very big, but they do stick out as they are beige colored and the table is black. I tried to sharpie the little hole, which worked ok, but the glue stains are noticeable, even when sitting 15 feet away. Wrote to the company to see about getting a replacement, we will see how it goes. see less

I bought this stand for my 32" TV, and it fits perfectly. It's very nice quality, made of wood, with a beautiful finish and color. It took me almost three hours to put together however, and the packaging was missing the flat head bolts that attach the drawer pulls to the drawers - but those holes fit Anthropologie knobs perfectly. It holds all the other electronic equipment quite nicely with wires going round the back, and holds my entire DVD collection. see less

Pieces are not drilled with the necessary holes. Top piece was supposed to have 4 screw holes, so you can fasten it to the base with 4 bolts. Only 2 holes existed. I had to drill my own holes and use Gorilla Glue to reinforce the fasteners. see less

I bought this tv stand because I was redecorating my room and wanted to change up all my furniture. It took me a few hours to build but was not to difficult. The look is great and for a small room I think it goes perfect. As people said it is a little wobbly on carpet but my carpet is pretty hard so it doesn't shake to much. If I would have read the reviews before I probably would have taken the bottom off and just let it lay flat but for my situation it doesn't shake enough for me to be worried as I am pretty carefull with my furniture. Also the drawers did take some time to get in but be patient and it will go in. Overall great tv stand for a small/midsize room. see less

I just got this TV stand. My husband and I put it together in about 2 1/2 hours. There are a lot of parts, but I found it no worse to put together than any other "assemble it yourself" piece I've bought. All pieces are labeled and the instructions were detailed. It may look overwhelming when you first open it, but we had no problems at all. The drawer and cabinet doors lined up well, but they are adjustable, so if yours doesn't the first time, don't worry! The materials were beautiful, no scratches or cracks. I don't recommend buying online, you never know what happens during shipping. Overall it is a beautiful piece for the money, and looks like a more expensive piece of furniture. see less

Don't buy it online, we got our in our target store for [$] It is NOT hard to put together if you can follow an instruction booklet and especially if you have a power screwdriver, but it is not required. Once it is together, the glass doors look really nice and the finish is beautiful. You can't even tell it is a "wood composite" It has a nice espresso/black finish. It even comes with a marker to fix any nicks etc. The drawer is huge and the storage space inside is spacious. The only thing I don't like is that the back panel has two oblong holes for wires etc. that you can see through the glass doors if you don't have anything covering it so I had to put something there so you don't see the white wall behind it. Finding the right TV stand was a challenge for my living room because of the position of the outlets, but this little guy is perfect! It ended up being a lot shorter than I anticipated, but that turned out to be a good thing. The directions for assembly were easy, but it was REALLY hard putting the screws in (I had to do it by hand because I don't have a power drill), and ended up with a really sore hand with two blisters from gripping the screwdriver. An excellent turntable that works just as designed. My 40" LCD has a large base and this turntable accommodated it with about 3" all around. Solid and looks good. It has a large swivel ring, which is the primary pivot point, but it also has an additional roller ball type fitting about 4" in from each end to provide stability if something is off center. If the TV's center of gravity is directly in the middle of the turntable they do not seem to make contact with the table. But they are useful if something is off center. It is large, so pay attention to the dimensions when you order. see less

We would have lived with it if it was only the bottom piece since it wouldnt be visible, but the damage to the top would have been VERY visible once assembled. Considering the low price, I was very pleased with the quality. It does not look "cheap" at all and believe me, we are very picky consumers! Ordered the chestnut and ours is most definitely brown with a darker brown grain. It only took my husband about 45 minutes to put together. First, the quality of the materials, the assembly instructions, and style are superb. That is not in question. The problem, and what made me return this, is that the color in the pictures and the description is very inaccurate. The item is labeled as Chestnut. Chestnut is brown. The pictures show just brown and other items labeled as Chestnut at Target are brown too. This however is a very dark brown red! RED!? Why is there red in a Chestnut piece?? If you are OK with red, then this is a great buy. If you are like me and wanted Chestnut or brown, look elsewhere or you might get buyer's remorse. Another issue is that Target does not accept returns of this item at their store. You have to take it to a UPS store and wait weeks for a refund. see less

It took my husband a few hours to put together, but it was well worth the time because it looks so nice. It is just the right size for our space and fits nicely in the corner in our living room. There is ample storage room behind the doors for dvds and on the middle shelves we have our dvd player and pictures of our grandkids. The hardware was counted out and each package was labled with a letter/number code to correspond with the instructions. It looks great and I love the 2 "easy gliding" drawers to store DVD's, instructions, misc. stuff, etc. that I don't want cluttering up my room and making it look a mess. I love that the back piece is not just a piece of cardboard. The only negative note -which is easily solved- is that you need to keep the glass door open if you are using an XBox because they run very hot and need to circulate cooler air. While shopping for a new tv and stand, i was mainy looking for a few crucial things. style, price and saftey. i have a small daughter who loves to get into things. i love that this stand is made of peices of solid wood, something you dont find for the price of this peice. the style cant be beat. we love that it has both drawers to hide clutter and a sliding door to keep all the electronics put away but accessible to remotes/controllers. as for the saftey features, the doors dont jam in your fingers and the sliding door glides so smoothly you dont have to worry about it getting stuck on anything. plus it has wall anchors to mount the stand to the wall so the little one wont be able to pull it and knock it over causing possible harm, something ive only seen on nursery furniture. this is a peice that will last for years to come and i have no worries about it or regrets for this purchace! I decided to spend a little more than I planned for a TV stand, and boy, what a good decision it was. This stand looks so classy! Really chic. I like how it hides all my stuff behind the glass doors. I did set it up by myself, which understandably, made it more difficult. At first, I was concerned because nothing appeared to be tightening. I'd screw in the screw as much as I could on both sides, yet the board would still flap back and forth. However, once you have all the pieces in, they support each other and everything will be tighter. I put an old fashioned 20 in. tube tv on it, and it's fine. So pleased! see less

I bought this online and it was shipped to my house without damage. It comes with good instructions to put together. It has A LOT of screwdriver work. Be sure to have 1 tiny ...think nearly eyeglasses sized screwdriver...and 1 normal sized screwdriver handy. It took my husband and I about 3 hours to complete. The backside has 3 panels...one center large and 2 smaller opposite sides panels which screw on overlapted. Holes in the panels are well sized for your power cords and cables. The center of the cabinet has 1 long shelf and the two side cabinets have 1 shelf each. The knobs are pewter color. This is perfect for our 55inch tv. Feels solid. There's one leg beneath in the center that had cement glue on because it fell off but it works all the same. I'm very happy with it!! see less

The shelf, however, is barely 13 inches deep (the top overhangs the rest of the unit by one inch on every side).I was counting on the 15 inch depth to handle the new cable box/DVR. i had been looking for a corner stand for awhile because my bf wanted a new surround sound and i didn't have any of the resources for it. this solved that. the tv and center channel sit on top, a speaker tucked into each of the top corner shelf, you can't even see them. they are not obstructed in anyway and the positioning inside the shelf itself is excellent. you may not think you need a new tv stand cause of a new surround sound but we definitely did and it made a difference. took me quite awhile to assemble it but i took my time sooo??? it wasn't really hard, they all joked that i had ordered myself a giant puzzle to put together. heavy, very heavy. it was harder to move once assembled so if you can manage to finish assembling it as close to the corner you are gonna put it in that should help. see less

Let me start with the star deductions. One star for minor shipping damage, packaging could be better. Upon opening I could see that during shipping this unit had been dropped and the packaging was insuffucient to protect the product (minor damage was to the rear of the unit and not noticeable after assembly). Another star for a flaw in workmanship. After inspecting the pieces, I noticed a flaw from the manufacturer, the flaw appeared to have been there before the finish was applied and shipped anyway.I don't build furniture, but I am a craftsman and part of my job is assembly work. This unit goes together well, pieces fit well. For those of you new to assembling furniture, well be cautious, don't over tighten fasteners and follow the instructions closely (look for the letter stickers on the pieces). Unit came with some extra hardware. Instructions were adequate with illustrations. My unit's doors didn't line up correctly. Hinges are low quality. I replaced them with a set from a local home improvement store that are adjustable [...]. This solved the issue.For the money, it looks great, meets my expections but could be better. see less
