I wanted something in a dark color with extra storage for our dvd player, movies, game consoles ECT. We just bought our first house and my husband and I wanted to use one of the rooms as a movie/game room. So I knew we would need a TV stand that wouldn't take up to much room since the room is kind of small. Once the Tv stand arrived, it took me no more then an hour an half to put it together. When my husband came home he was very surprised and was very happy with the color, the extra storage and how sturdy it is. my husband still doesn't believe me that it took me no more then an Hour an half to assemble the tv stand. This cabinet is the same ... see more

This cabinet is the same as the Alexandria but different feet. It was very easy for me to assemble since I just recently assembled a [brand name] coffee and end table with similar parts and instructions. I decided to leave off the feet and it looks great that way. I think that it's about 33 in tall without feet. The one issue I have is that it is not very sturdy side to side, meaning that I can make the top surface and sides move a bit by pushing on the end of the top. In my mind there's a fundamental flaw in the design that does not allow the rigidity I would like to see. I know all the screws and camlocks are tight. I can not get the center doors to allign at the top because the whole cabinet is secured slightly off center. I'll be worried someday when I have to move it, but it's solid enough to support my TV. For the great price I received on this item I'll live with the doors slightly misaligned. see less

Well it looks very pretty! But the material is very cheap, it scratches very easily so be careful. The assembly instructions are very easy to follow but there are a TON of steps. It took me a little over 3.5 hours to assemble. So be prepared to take a lot of time. I was just disapointed that you can scratch off the dark finish with your nails and underneath is light colored wood. I had to use the brown marker they provided many times already. see less

A little leary about buying a piece of furniture without being able to see it and touch it, but was very happy with the looks of this. Although it was pretty easy to put together even with only pictures for reference, written instructions would've been nice too only because it was hard to tell which way to turn a couple of the pieces. It's solid, looks great, good quality, and well worth the money! see less

I looked for a couple months for the right TV stand and had little luck. The tv stands I found were either very expensive, or very cheap with awful veneer application. I found this piece and loved the look of the pictures online. I was a bit cautious purchasing online without seeing it first hand. For a larger piece, it is amazingly easy to put together. I find it hard to believe the reviews i've seen that have said it is difficult, but maybe the wrong parts got mixed up. It is also very sturdy as you assemble it, no trying to balance large pieces, and no fear of it braking or collapsing as you move it around to assemble. Most importantly, it looks amazing once assembled. You cannot tell it isnt all real wood because of the quality of veneer work and construction, even around molding pieces. I would guess most people couldn't tell it isnt real wood, even with close inspection. In sum, looks just like the picture online, is gorgeous and easy to put together. see less

After opening and putting together this product -my husband had no problems with assembly-, we were extremely happy with it's appearance and size. Exactly what we were looking for! One month later we are cursing the thing because of sagging issues. The top and bottom rail -which were fine to start out with- are sagging in the center to the point where we cannot close the doors without scraping the top rails, and I'm assuming it will only get worse. I found this in the store but it was out of stock so I checked online and it was on sale. By the time the taxes and shipping were added I saved about five dollars but it was worth it. Get it delivered. It is very very heavy. Almost over delivery weight limit. I could not have gotten it home and in the house by myself. Also couldn't have put it together by myself. It takes awhile...but it really is worth it. I promise. Looks better than stands I found in furniture stores! Can you tell I am very pleased with my purchase? We looked and looked for a tv cabinet. Lots of junk out there for [$]. Took about an hour to assemble, and to my surprise all the parts were there even a few extra screws for the back.I would recommend. see less

The stand came within days even though the projected arrival date was a few weeks away. It is a very dark wood so it looks almost black but you can see hints of the mahogany. It is a great value for the price. It is sturdy and a quality product. It looks just as good as the TV stands that cost a lot more. The shelves are adjustable so you can store a lot of different things. The glass appears to have a frosted appearance in the photo but the glass is clear. I was able to put it together myself in a few hours even though the instructions say it requires two people. see less

I love the look of this piece. It is really beautiful and looks like you paid a lot more for it. Target's shipping was very quick and worth it. My issue with it and others who have bought this on other websites is with the instructions provided by the manufacturer. I have put together many pieces of furniture so I could decipher the directions or look at the pictures and figure it out. For the first timer, these directions are absolutely horrible! You had to REALLY study the picture to determine what went where. I will say that the way the manufacturer organized the parts was very good. My last comment again has to do with the manufacturer and others that sell like furniture - I HATE CAMBOLTS! Can you not come up with another way to secure the pieces together?!?!?!? It seems I can never get them to achieve a tight and secure fit and it shows in a couple of places on this piece. DRIVES ME ABSOLUTELY CRAZY! see less

Looks like a beautiful piece. My husband an I ordered this piece and it took us almost 4 hours to put it together. The hardware that we got to put it together was so cheap and flimsy even now that its put together, I'm afraid to put our TV on it. It was an awful experience, and will be the last time i order furniture online without seeing it first. see less
