We wish that when we watched TV, we could skip commercial—except, of course, the Target ones, which are brilliant and hilarious [ahem]. Oh wait, there IS way we can fast-forward through the non-Target commercials—and pause and rewind, too. We can do it by watching shows we've recorded on our DVR (short for digital video recorder). But just to reiterate, we do NOT recommend skipping Target commercials, because then you might miss out on hearing about our great deals and assortment of TVs. We carry all kinds: High-quality HDTVs, space-saving flat screen TVs you can mount on your wall, LCD TVs (usually a 2"–3" profile, energy efficient and high-res), LED TVs (the thinnest profiles with a super sharp picture) and Plasma TVs (great for watching in darker settings and with a wider viewing angle). We also carry loads of DVD players, and for those of you hanging onto your VHS collection, some of those players come as combos with a VCR. Lots of people are moving away from DVD players, though, to the more advanced Blu-ray players. Some tidbits about those: "Blu-ray" might look like it's missing an "e," but it's really spelled like that. And Blu-ray discs have more than 2 million pixels vs. a typical DVD's 350,000 or less, so the picture's awesome—as is the audio and the discs' scratch– and smudge–resistance. And the players work with your standard DVDs, too. Yay. So we've got a pretty great TV and video selection—can't picture a better one.
