I only used this bag once. When I returned from my trip recently the handle would not lift up.We had to drag the bag through the airport by the little handle. Upon further inspection, the two metal bars are bent inside the bag. I read another review about a customer having the same exact problem. I called Target and they said they couldn't help me b/c I bought it more the 90 days ago and they couldn't find the manufacuter for me to call. I looked online and couldn't find a number either. I just came back from Chicago visiting my son. This is one tough luggage. I had to check this bag, because it over the carryon size limit and every time I see it at the baggage claim area, I know it's mine. Another good thing is that I haven't seen any wear and tear at all after even four trips. I have more expensive bags that have not held up anywhere near as well. Anything that goes in it is very safe. The wheels, zippers, and handles are extremely tough. I plan to purchase the larger size for my trips this summer. see less

The bag is the perfect size for my trip length and I couldn't be any happier. I took it with me to South Africa last week for a book conference. It is a very well constructed bag. The handle and wheels are very strong and sturdy. There's no pocket on the outside of this bag, but that is alright with me, since I don't like put things in the outside pockets anyhow, thinking that things may get stolen. I was happy to receive this luggage about a month ago. I took this suitcase with my to Europe and came back last week. This is my first spinner luggage and the wheels are great. Even if I stuff with all my heavy shoes and books, I had no problem wheeling it at the airport. It did get scratched, but it was no big deal. Any luggage would get scratched if it's checked. I'm very satisfied with it. see less

The bag is nicely designed and well made. I have taken two short trips with it and find that it just fits my needs. I would have been even happier if I had noticed in advance that it closed with a zipper which would not have been my first choice. But two times out of two, the zipper has worked without a hitch. Bought this carryon suitcase for my 9 year old daughter. She was able to pull it through the airport without any problem. This suitcase is light and is very functional, and we received lots of positive comments on their appearance. The only problem we encountered is that the exterior finish gets scratched. We bought two of these bags last summer for our then 5 and 2-year old girls for a trip to Texas and they are wonderful! They could put coloring books, toys, stuffed animals, etc with plenty of room and they fit perfectly under the seat on the plane. They have pulled them everywhere and on every kind of surface and both bags still look brand new, not to mention we had so many compliments on them. Definitely recommend these to anyone. see less

I LOVE this bag. As little as it is I was able to fit 4 days worth of clothes and 3 pairs of flats in this bag and still had room for more. I don't know why someone said it doesn't fit on a nice size plane as I was on a 757 and had no problem putting it overhead. It even fit vertically in a spot on my return leg that I was questioning - it slid in so perfectly I smiled...before I had to hurry and take my seat and let others get by. It has a lot of organization features and can even hold a laptop. It's a business bag for sure. I only wish it had a little more space in the main clothing compartment with room to expand if needed. It's a little tight but workable. This bag is no bigger than the bags the flight attendants and pilots carry so I like it. Also every plane has differnt overhead requirements which may not be the norm. Any carry-on is subject to checking b/c of the plane. see less

The design of this bag is terrific for a business traveller: two large separate well-padded main compartments (with lots of inner pockets) and one smaller front pocket with organizer features. And it's Swiss Gear, one of my favorite brands, with a snappy brown plaid fabric.Unfortunately, this suitcase just doesn't seem to hold up to normal Swiss Gear standards. This arrived with the zippers split, was very difficult to re-join the zippers which then split almost every time I zipped or unzipped any of the main compartments, and one of the zipper pull tags broke off almost immediately when I was trying to re-join the zipper and really wasn't tugging on it all that hard.Contrary to some of the reviews I've read of this piece, BOTH of the larger main compartments can be laid flat. One of them is held from flat by quick-release straps, and also can be adjusted to open-and-hold at a 90 degree or greater angle. The other has side panels that can be easily unsnapped to allow it to fully open to flat position.Everything is well-padded, even the front-most pocket which might be ideal for stashing a netbook, and the fabric is sturdy. The small wheels, however, marked up pretty fast just rolling on pavement.I'd also be happier if there were a tote bag to match this and slide over the handle, rather than just a larger suitcase and a duffel bag. I did buy a similarly-colored tote from another store, but would've preferred a matching set; apparently this Aubonne design was used on only three pieces.Just a bit more attention to manufacturing quality, and I'd have been very happy with this suitcase. As it was, with all the zipper issues and flaws, I had to return it after sort-of using it for half a trip. It's priced pretty typically for Swiss Gear (not cheap), but the quality is just completely absent and therefore not worth the price, no less the bother of returning it for repair under the 10-year warranty.Perhaps the issue is just a single careless worker at the factory, but whatever the reason, my experience with this bag has caused me to have new reservations about the manufacturer.I also have a major beef with Target because the website information about this bag doesn't provide nearly enough detail about the interior or size; it's definitely larger than the usual "Overnight Bag", and quite a bit wider than most small suitcases. see less

This bag is a good quality bag...however it does not meet most airlines restrictions for a carry-on and the two-compartment design is a little bizzarre. I do like the bag, but there is a compartment on top and a compartment below it. I think it would have been better if they had just made it with one compartment. It's not really convienient to have to have two seperate sections of the bag.But it looks good, and it's been very reliable so far, so no complaints as far as that goes. This is a cool looking bag. This bag is very easy to spot on the carousel. I spent countless hours online researching different styles and types of luggage and wanted something that was a good value. I was extremely suprised at how quickly I received the luggage from Target.com. The only thing that was disappointing was the smell of the luggage when I took it out of the box, but it was no longer an issue after I let it air for a night. I flew to London and then on to Spain, then got on a cruise ship and then back. This is not your typical black luggage that everyone else has. Another feature that I love are the spinner wheels. I have never had any luggage with those and now I can't live without them! It makes it so much more convenmient and easier to manuever around. I gave this luggage 5 stars all the way around because I truly love it and am very happy with it. see less

Although this piece of luggage looks good in picture, it's a terrible construction for a spinner. This spinner opens in the middle where two wheels are on one side and two are on the other side when opened. In order for this spinner then to roll on four wheels, the zipper or closing mechanism needs to be sturdy enough to keep all four wheels in one level. This luggage, however, has a very weak zipper where even without any content the four wheels are not at the same level, preventing the luggage from spinning or rolling on all four wheels simultaneously. With content, you would need to balance the weight on both halves of the luggage, leading to a longer and frustrating packing time. All this makes this luggage basically useless. I have returned this spinner the same day it arrived and bought instead a spinner which opens as a "flap" on one side so the four wheels are attached to the same base. see less

I did some resarch before I purchased this item. I have definitely been pleased with the order. Thus far, the luggage seems durable enough to maintain a good lifespan. The bag is roomy and has a suiter. I love it. I always travel with my dress shirts and suits and the suiter feature is great. My husband travels a lot too and as a matter of fact, he just came back from England using this bag. He also finds the suiter feature very convenient. The wheels and handles are to our expectations and we love it. see less

I purchased this bag and after one use on a trip via airline travel the top handle broke. The rivet on one side came out. So I was able to replace the bag without too much trouble. The second bag, first trip via airline travel the front pcket zipper came off. The second trip, the top handle broke again! Not buying a 3rd bad. Buyer beware. see less

I use this as a case for my 23" all in one computer that I bring with to weddings. It works great, the computer fits perfectly inside and the pockets and compartments hold all my cords and a few other items securely. It looks nice and works very well. I just got back from a weekend trip using this rolling carry-on. It is a good size. It could be pulled down the aisle of the airplane without hitting the seats. It's also easy to lift with a handle on the long and the short side. It fits in the overhead container on planes. My only complaint is that is attracts dust and hair on the ground, probably from static, but this really isn't a big deal. It's well-made and can take a beating, zips/unzips easily, and looks nice. I really prefer hard-sided luggage. It feels much more secure to me. I definitely would recommend, especially for the price. see less

This is a cool looking bag. very easy to spot on the carousel. I fly a lot and it looks like it's going to last for a while. It's very light, so you don't waste pounds you could be using for your stuff on the weight of the bag. This bag is easy to wheel on both bare floors and carpeted, and the side handle is great when you need to life it up. It will fit easily into the overhead compartment. Thank you for a great product. Very easy to manuever. They did take it under the plane and scratch it up. But it held well and is really light. Easy to stow in the overhead bins. Overall I am going to get the 28" next paycheck. It is a lot easier to roll this down the airplane aisles. Def a good product. see less

The base of this suitcase is not designed correctly- the wheels should be up higher up so the bottom of the back of the suitcase doesn't drag on the ground when pulling it. Also, the wheels should be sturdier and made of a higher grade material. I really like the style & features of this bag but it just didn't hold up. I travel quite a bit for work but have really only used this larger bag for my longer trips, about 5 or 6 times. I had no luck flagging a cab from the train station in chicago yesterday when I returned from a work trip and since I live 0.8 miles from union station, I decided to just walk it. After a while, it started getting extremely difficult to pull it- I looked down and noticed that due to the weight of the bag in reference to the size of the wheels caused the wheels to completely wear away and I ended up having to literally drag the bag all the way home. It was miserable. I will never buy a Heys bag again. see less

But for the price its Just what we needed.Its huge the wheels work just fine (its not a Porsche)and the zippers function great. This is by far the worst suitcase I have ever used! I travel quite frequently on trans-atlantic flights, and this suitcase didn't even last the first time out. The handle broke at the airport which was a sign of things to come. Even with very few items, it's still extremely heavy and does not hold up well. I have nothing good to say about this item. Perhaps if you never plan on taking a flight with this suitcase, it would be fine, but you'd have to be a serious weight lifter just to get it in your vehicle after having it fully packed. I bought this to take on longer business trips. I used it once and it's going back to the store. It is very heavy even without a thing in it. Loaded, I couldn't lift it into the trunk of my car, and I looked like an idiot trying to wheel this monster into the airport. The handle kept going down even after it snapped open--defective. We loved this bag when we got it, the zippers were durable and the color was cool, up until the 3rd time we used it, and it had only been through an airport once. The top handle began to come apart, at first the fabric wrapped around the handle, and then the rest totally fell apart. we had to carry it with the extendable plastic handle. needless to say, we just purchased a different brand where the handle isnt just sewn in. see less

I used this bag on three international trips and it's trashed. The main flaw is the wheels being built cheap. It had 4 swivel wheels which are great becasue you can set it upright and just push it along. It goes under turnstyles and moves easily. But that's just inside the airport on smooth floors. A wheel completely broke my second trip with this bag. I took the bus to Chicago and flew out of O'Hare. From the bus to the L-Train stop, hotel to L-Train stop, a few blocks each way. With uneven streets/sidewalks the wheel just tore off. Now it's cumbersome to use. Plus the material stains very easy. This was part of the 6-piece set. Pay a little more and get something with swivel wheels that will last you more than three trips. see less

Oh, come on...any airline can destroy any bag whether it's brand new or not. When they dammage a bag more than cosmetically you need to complain to the airline right away or it's your fault! I've been using this bag for over two years on close to 20 European trips, that's 40 transatlantic flights, and it's still my favorite bag. Tough, lightweight and really quite well made for the price. The armored corners keep it from getting dented like my other hardside bags and it's gotten plenty of cosmetic scratches but nothing that effects it's performance or overall apperaance, the black color is best for hidding these. By the way I always pack it full to the airlines limit, 50 - 60 lbs., and it's never burst a zipper or "ripped" the plastic case material as in one of these reviews. Great case overall. see less

I was on a medical mission trip to Peru and I was carrying quite a bit of expensive surgical supplies down with me and needed a thick suitcase to protect my sensitive baggage. Everything fit nicely and nothing broke inside (even the ceramics I brought back) and it even made a nice seat in the 5 hours of lines I stood in in Lima airport. I made it to the states tired and frustrated, awaiting the arrival of my luggage in Houston to go through customs and I discover a wheel popped off and the front is scratched beyond belief! It was in pristine condition in Lima but I guess that fifth flight was enough to ruin a [$] brand new suitcase. I was really disappointed because I loved this suitcase but the 360 degree action doesn't quite work with only 3 wheels.... see less
