This is a great vacuum especially for the price I paid.
Here are a few highlights:
On hardwood/tile floors - fantastic (we have a Lab and it picks up her hair like a dream)
Along baseboards and under cabinets - excellent (better than my big expensive vacuum)
In small spaces - wonderful (cleans around the bathroom toilets in a snap)
This vacuum is VERY lightweight! A child could use this around the house (mine used it the first day I got it and didn't complain ;))
I love that it is corded. I hated getting out my old cordless and it not being ready or lasting very long. This one is always ready. I also enjoy the hand vac feature.
Highly recommend this product.
I have had this for over two years now and use it CONSTANTLY. It is NOT intended to be used as a main vacuum on all your carpet. I use it on our wood floors and all of our tile. I hate using a dustpan because I feel like I never get all the dirt into the pan. I haven't used a dust pan once since I received this. I sweep everything into a pile, then vacuum it up.
Best Uses- Spills - Shattered salt shaker and salt, taken care of.
Nooks and baseboards-
Non-carpeted floors- I use this for maintenance "sweeps" between full on cleaning days. I run this over our tile and wood floors for touchups.
Small rugs- While this is not the best vacuum for large carpeted areas, I use it for the many little area rugs we have in our house.
I got this 3 years ago specifically because I have a chronic disease and can't use a heavy vacuum. This vac is very light weight and does a great job on carpets and floors. And with the furniture attachment, it is light enough to pick up and do drapes and get in furniture corners. I have birdies so it picks up feathers, seed and all sorts of stuff....and I can handle it easily. I never expected something this inexpensive would be so good.
I can't believe this little vacuum. I moved to FL and everything is tile or wood with a couple of area rugs. I didn't need a huge vacuum any longer and had no place to store one. Found this and I'm thrilled. Takes practically no space to store. Gets up dust, dirt, and cat hair like a champ. The fact that you can separate it and use as a hand held for quick clean ups or on furniture is an added plus.
Yesterday was the first time I used my stick
vac. I love that it has a cord so I don't have to worry about it not being
charged and don't have to worry about whether it can last through the job.
It is great for cleaning area rugs between weekly vacuuming and I like it
for getting cobwebs that are up above my head. It is wonderful for doing a quick clean up from pets. It is also great for picking up messes from my shredder. I use it to clean crumbs off my desk. It is great for reaching where I can't reach with my vacuum, such as around the toilet where they don't give much room for cleaning and cleaning the area around the room where the floor and wall meet. With my stick vac, I don't pull the vacuum over when I am after
cobwebs at the ceiling level. This is great to give your floors a quick pickup between the weekly vacuum. You cannot expect it to do the same job that a
regular vacuum does. I give my little Versa 3-in-1 5 stars. I am sad to
see that you have gone to the cordless stick vac. I like the corded because
I can depend on it to clean my car w/o having to recharge before I finish
I needed a stick vac specifically for my hard wood floors. I wanted something light n small. I have a dog and 2 cats so hairs and dust are an everyday thing. Saw it at the store and figured why not since on sale. I was pleasantly surprised. It was super light, worked very well and picked up a lot of debris. I would say to just empty n clean the canister after each use since small. Didn't work as well on the couch and rugs, but at this price range I didn't expect it to. So if you need something inexpensive for floors and tiles, this is a good choice.
I have this in red but it's the same vacuum. I specifically got to catch bugs and spiders in the house it works great for that. It caputured a mosquito midair. It's also great for cleaning up small tasks. I zip it around the kitchen or bathroom floor for quick pick ups. It's also very easy to empty too (bugs and all)
Prior to this, I'd always bought DustBuster brand but they never lasted long before they couldn't hold charge. This one is nice, compact, crevice tool is awesome and convenient and unit has great power. Two years old and still holds charge perfectly. I'll always buy this kind in the future.
Good for small jobs, filters need to be replaced often. Not strong enough for embedded pet hair on sofa or carpet. I bought this for small spills, which I have no complains about, and it does a good job.
If you're looking for something to quickly clean hard floor surfaces without lugging out your big vacuum, this is great. Does not work well on carpets, so don't buy it if that's what you're looking for. Dust cup is easy to empty. The cord isn't super long, but that's what extension cords are made for if you're doing a large floor.
I love this little vac for quick and easy clean-up of my hardwood floors and stairs. It's lightweight, manageable & very easy to store. Suction on hardwood & tile is perfect - collects dust, dirt & crumbs like magic! The telescopic handle collapses at the touch of a button, creating the ideal size for cleaning stairs. The canister is easy to open, empty and close. The cord is shorter than I like so I added an extension cord - problem solved. This vacuum does not perform well on carpet. It is great on small thin area rugs and fringe and even upholstery. Another vacuum would be needed for thickly carpeted rooms. If you're looking for a vac to do it all, keep looking. This vacuum's strength lies in its ability to quickly and easily clean hardwood & tile surfaces. A great alternative to the broom, dustpan and brush!
This is my 3rd one. I keep one on each level of my home. Great for bathrooms and kitchen. Okay for carpet if your carpet is short, but I use a regular sized vac for carpet. I have given these as gifts over the years and received good reviews from friends as well. I use mine everyday!
I purchased a hand vac when I first moved into my house. When it wore out, this was the replacement. Several years later, it is still going strong. It last at least 15 min of continuous usage before I need to charge it. (Slight estimation, never really use it for longer than 10). Only one problem would be finding the replacement filters. Not easy, with ebay!
