My grandma got me this game for Christmas. I've played regular dominoes before but never this version. It is so much fun! You play the game in rounds and can end at any time. We figure if you go all rounds you will play about two hours but we've also played a couple rounds in about twenty minutes. This particular set is good quality. After winning a round you can hit the button and hear the train sound. The colors are very helpful and the case is a good quality. My particular set has a defect on the back of two of the dominoes so we know which numbers they are. That's a bummer but I'm sure that isn't the case for every set. This can be played in small groups of two or three or it goes up to about eight people. It can get pretty fast paced and lots of fun!
A family member taught us how to play. We liked it so much we bought the game ourselves. we had out of town guest over and showed them how to play. They all liked it so much they are now going to go and buy their own sets of the Mexican Train. The guys love to honk the horn. Toot Toot!
My 8 year old son likes to line up dominos in a pattern and knock them over so we thought this would be a fun gift. The domino tiles are plastic and they stand up ok. The tiles with little tabs or ears to connect onto the curve piece break off easily and the tiles don't stay in place well. Once you knock over the tiles you pick up the curve to reset them and a couple tiles fall off. My son and I got tired of reattaching the tiles everytime. I doubt he will play with this much.
I should have just bought a domino set with neet characters on them.
Just horrible horrible horrible. Mad that I even have to give it a star at all! It deserves a half a star for the concept. Cheap flimsy plastic. Breaks before you get it out of the frames. Buttons that should poke up, don't poke up. Dominos don't stay up. Frustrating toy. Put mommy in a bad mood.

Worst Game Ever! Zero stars for this useless game.
Do not buy this game. So cheap it won't even fit together and dominos on tracks can't stay up. Great idea from the last reviewer. We will return our game too, and never buy anything from Goliath Games ever again. If anyone from Goliath Company is reading this, my seven year old suggests that you shut down your company because it is horrible and asks why you would go to the trouble to make something that is not worthwhile. Very disappointed.
