I totally disagree with anyone who wrote anything negative about these towels. THEY ARE AWESOME!!! I got them when I got married a year ago in various colors, and they are holding up great. No loose threads, no fading, still soft, still fluffy, still absorbent. The only towel that is discolored is that way because I accidentally set a bleach-covered wash cloth on it. I wish they were cheaper, but they are worth every penny!! They really are great towels. see less

We got 2 of these, one for each car. It works great in my husbands [...] truck but not at all in my [...]. It was easy to install in his truck because the seat had a headrest it could attach to but my middle seat does not have a head rest. Since it is recommended to install car seats in the middle of the back seat when possible, that is what we did, but there is no head rest to attach the mirror to in my car. They do give instructions for how to use it when there is no headrest, but they were complicated and when I was manipulating it to try to get it to work, the mirror cracked down the middle. By the way, the mirror is actually just a reflective plastic, not a real mirror. Bottom line - works in some cars, not in all. Be careful with the packaging when opening so you can return if necessary. see less

We were worried about the size, because our old crock pot was 6.5, but this is more than enough room for what we cook (enough for 4-6 ppl). I'm a guy living alone and I've been using a 25 year old Eureka and it's done a good job, or at least what I thought was a good job. I've been doing some remodeling in my house for the past three months and it's been creating lots of dust, some of it really heavy dry wall dust. I've been having to vacuum sometimes twice a week in the non-remodeled parts of the house just to try and stay as clean as possible. The dust has been reduced to almost nothing for the past week or so, so I'm able to vacuum less frequently. But two days ago I vacuumed my bedroom with my Eureka and it felt clean afterward. Then today I opened the Dyson, put it together and plugged it in to give it a test run. I did only half of my bedroom and was amazed at what was in the canister. It wasn't full of stuff, but after emptying it I saw the thick layer of dry wall dust at the bottom of the canister. This is the layer of dust that must have been settling into the carpet over the past few weeks. Stuff that I couldn't see. Stuff that the Eureka didn't pick up. I'm so glad I finally broke down and got one of these. I don't really like vacuuming, but I like it even less when it doesn't do a good job. This Dyson makes it easy and it doesn't seem like a chore. Anyway, I hope this helps others make a decision. see less

Purchased just 2 weeks ago and have a wish list already. It operates great and I am impressed by suction and amount of dirt picked up but the cord is about too short to make it across the living room around furniture without re-plugging a retractable feature would be sweet too. I also, wish it came with the tool set so I don't have to go out and buy a separate toolkit for $60, for my blinds and nooks and crannies. I have purchased several vacuums in my time and never had to buy tools ala cart before. They better be tough for the amount that is being charged for them. see less

I am very particular about cleaning my home. I have bought two comparable uprights. They both performed poorly, both had pet hair tools and bagless. I reviewed the Bissell in Consumer Reports and saw the review was highly recommended as well as a best buy. Purchased on 03/02/13 and could not believe how much much was left behind from previous vacuums. Initially, the dirt container had to be emptied numerous times, but eventually it got the dirt/pet hair up. My carpet looks like a new carpet every time I vacuum. With a dog, and 2 cats, my home must be vacuumed 2-3 times a week. Cleaning the dirt container and filters is a dream. see less

I debated spending the money, but you really do get what you pay for. I can't believe how much dirt, dust and pet hair it picked up. I had to empty it twice the first go around my 1 1/2 bedroom cottage. The reviews I read were very helpful and very true. I did a before and after barefoot test on my kitchen and bathroom floors. There was no grit, sand or orther particles present. The attachments are very easy to use too. I am a believer and wish I had purchased this vacuume long ago. My dog sheds tiny, white hairs. I wear a lot of black. I will be saving a lot of money on lint rollers thanks to this vacuume. Sofa, bed spreads and chairs are now hair free. I love my new Dyson. see less

I don't have a pet, however, I have really long hair (almost long enough to tuck into my pants!), and have gone through 3 vacuums in the last 2 years. I vacuum my small apartment twice a week, because not only do I shed like any normal person, but my hair is so long that it forms those 'tuffts' when there's only a couple strands! I decided to finally shell out the cash to buy a dyson, and then found the 'animal' vacuum.....eureka! This vacuum is made specially for animal hair, but I would recommend it for those like me with lots of hair of your own. It works brilliantly, and is so easy to empty the canister. Some of the items are very small and need a few tries to get them to stay in place, but overall a great investment. Purchased this for a 9 ft umbrella. First day I tried it there was a slight breeze, but not at all what you would call windy. My granddaughter was visiting and we were out on the patio. The breeze made the base rock badly and didn't take much for it to fall completely over on the patio, taking out one of my newly planted bushes, and missing the baby by only a few inches. We had to have someone actually hold the base down for the rest of the the time we were outside. I can't imagine how it would be if it was actually a little windy. I've seen some negative reviews about this product and the only thing I can imagine is that like any other product, there is the potential to get a lemon every once in awhile. I've had this product for 4 years now. In the past year, I have used it on almost a daily basis to make smoothies and soup bases. I have not had a single issue with this blender. When making smoothies, it will eventually chop up most of the tiny seeds found on berries. You just have to let it run a little longer than you might be used to. It doesn't leak, and works as good now as the day I bought it. see less

I had mistaken price for quality with past blender purchases and was disappointed with my choices. Naturally, I was skeptical about a [$] blender, but needed a replacement in a hurry, so I thought I would risk it. In the five years I have had it, I have used it almost every single day to make a smoothie. It does a great job blending ice and frozen fruit. It purees soups nicely and blends pancake batter very well. I like the fact that the jar is glass. It is much easier to keep clean and doesn't get scratched and cloudy like a plastic blender jar. This is my first slow cooker than isn't a hand me down. My old one would burn the bottom of meats, so I was scared that was just a drawback of slow cookers in general. Boy was I wrong! I bought this one because I liked the digital timer. I sometimes forget to look at the clock when start cooking something, so this helps tell me how much longer I have. I've used it twice and it doesn't come close to burning the meat or veggies, only makes the meat tender and the veggies come out PERFECT. I am in love with this one. Also, to those that have mentioned it, it says in the user manual DO NOT lock the lid while cooking, that feature is only for travel. see less

Cook Country tested various brand name crockpots and the digital series of CROCKPOT was recommended. I use my crockpot to mainly cook sauerkraut at a low 8hr setting. and it cooks the kraut to melt n your mouth. My crockpot allows 4 automatic time settings. So if you have the desire to some serious cooking I would checkout other CROCKPOT's digital models. There are at least four other models with digital settings. If you have the desire to cook sauerkraut I recommend to first rinse the kraut in cold water to get the salt taste out of it. I then blend my with frozen pineapple chunks and juice. both are good for the indigestion. see less

We bought this blender system about a week ago. I have used the single serve cups almost everyday to make smoothies. I have been very happy with the functionality of the product. It blends the smoothie very well and throughly. I put completely frozen fruit in the blender and it turns it into a liquid with just a few pulses. I have not used the dough bowl yet, but I am very optimistic about how it will work! I would definitely recommend this blender system. see less

I bought this system to help me make Christmas cookies. I needed a food processor with lots of power to make almond flour. First I blanched the almonds to remove the skin. I coarsely chopped the nuts and then dried them. I placed small amounts of the chopped nuts into the juicer and within seconds I had flour. I also chopped up some scraps of meat to make burger. I used slightly frozen meat. It worked great. I'm so glad I chose this blender. see less

Bought this on during Black Friday for [$$] - SOOO happy I bought it. I am in love with this machine. It blends ice, fruit, nuts, etc no problem! I've seen Vitamix and Blentec - which look AMAZING..... but the ones I was looking at were around [$$]. Insane!! This may take 5 more sec to blend a smoothie, but it is well worth the price! What is 5 sec anyways? You barely notice! I would definitely recommend this to anyone, I have been looking for the right blender for 2 years!! Buying, returning, buying, returning, and the list goes on...... Wonderful product and I am beyond pleased! The only fyi to watch out for is the food processor part. It is large, I think 6 cup? Anyways, if your trying to process/blend a small amount of food, it spreads out because the bowl is so large - therefore not processing it correctly... so if you have a small amount of food i.e. nuts, crackers, fruit that you want to blend, put it in the smoothie/shake part, and whip it up! Love this crockpot, but I broke my stoneware twice (don't put it on high heat when warming up something dry, like burritos wrapped in tinfoil - gets too hot and cracks). Both the main pro and con about this machine is that it gets very hot. Pro - you can cook food more quickly than most other slow cookers. Con - you can break the stoneware (see above) and scorch your food if you don't watch it closely. see less

We went for the 7 qt. if I'm going to cook I want to make a lot of good food. We're so glad to have purchased this product. First thing I did was to heat water on "low setting" and learn the temps than I shut it off, let it cool down, then went to the "high setting." Last week I cooked a 6 lb. beef pot roast, carrots, potatoes, etc. following the enclosed suggestions. Ran it for 5-6 hours...came out awesome and soooo tender. Got 5-stars for that. New Years Eve, we did a 13 lb. turkey. I took the skin off, carved the breast off, separated the sections and laid it in the pot with all the seasons....was awesome...parts fell from the bones....another 5-stars. Best thing I bought for the kitchen and me! see less

Excellent set, modular construction of the walls makes it easy to build with the kids over several nights, and easier to store without taking the whole thing apart. While Helm's Deep is not a required purchase for those trying to collect the whole fellowship, it does have some cool figs not available in other sets. This was a great parent and child project, child is 6, older kids would have no problems assembling on their own. A homerun set from Lego, and my favorite of the LOTR collection. see less

Hamilton Beach. I got my first food processor on Mother's Day. I was so happy that my husband gave me a food processor. I first used it to make a salad, and it made salad on easy. The slicer was so good when I sliced the cumbers, as a matter of fact it did a good job slicing. And, I especially liked how it locked in place which in my opinion is good safety feature, especially if you have grandchildren nearby in the kitchen. And, it is quick another good feature. I am planning to buy each of my girls one for Christmas. And, I have four daughters, and one daughter-in-law. I'm very happy with my Hamilton Beach, and I hope the girls will be too. see less

Do not go by the bad reviews! This is one of the best values you will find for a SINGER sewing machine. It is a good machine, easy to sew with and will go the distance when quilting or making drapes etc. The machine is quality through and through. I also have a BROTHER regular machine and a SINGER SERGER. I use all 3. The SINGER is easier than the BROTHER to thread, both sew well. I sew all day every day. This is a good little machine. This model of a SINGER conventional is perfect for every day use or once in a while. It will always work well. Never let others sew on your machine. Once it is set for your touch it will not work well if others use it. I would loan out my car before I would my SINGER. see less

Was little reluctant to purchase because reviews. I have an old singer that my father bought my mother when she was pregnant with me. That was way over 40 years ago. I am an amiture sewer and know a little from what my mother taught me. This machine is perfect. I am sewing together recycled wool and cashmere sweaters and making blankets. I wasn't sure if it would work because of the thinckness of the material, but it has been amazingly easy. Less frustration then imagined. I did watch a couple tutorials on utube as I was threading the machine and loading the bobbin. This was a big help. The manual was a bit hard to follow when threading machine. It is actually quite similar to my old machine but way lighter!! This machine has been well worth the [$] and a trip to Target. Only thing I would change would be the reverse switch would be easier if it could be locked into place and you didn't have to hold down with finger. Thanx for reading... see less

I was a little aprehensive due to the price of the machine, but it went on sale and I figured I couldn't go wrong. It has turned out to be a great sewing machine! I read reviews and did what some suggested...sewed for a little while on a scrap piece of material to get the oils moving...threaded the bobbin correctly and read a little about it. I LOVE the sewing machine. I have made my grand daughter's nursery decor with it. I hope she likes it. see less

I have many sizes of Riedel wine glasses. The larger red glasses are difficult to fit in the dish washer. However, these smaller ones are perfect. Contrary to some of the other reviews, I prefer the thinner glass. It's more elegant. I have not yet broken one glass and I gave several dozen of various sizes.
