My 3 yr old calls this the "wow toy". He's had this for a year and is still fascinated by it. For any kid that loves gears, motors and buttons -this is a great toy. Fun to set up, fun to watch, fun to control. Sometimes he gets a little frustrated if he can't get the gears back on mid-spin, but a little parent help is all it takes.

I have two boys ages 2 and 3. Both have different interests, but neither one proved to be interested in this toy. It was cool the day they got it since then they've only asked to play with it once. Pieces seem like they can be easily lost. When all the gears are in use and the bell is dinging over and over it becomes tiresome.

We've had ours for several years & it came with the six vertical "Amusement Park" pieces now sold separately as an add-on. Our 2 grandsons, now 5 1/2 & 11, still play with it and our 1 1/4 yr old step great-grandaughter seems to also enjoy it- when we can get her mommy & daddy to quit playing with it. It's apparently very rugged (still no broken parts) & easy on batteries. Hope I can find a source that has them in stock to buy for her (need to hang onto ours). Please Target, get them back in stock.
