I bought this set for my boys when they were two and four. And now, at five and seven, they still love it. There have only been two problems I've ever had with this toy: 1)There are a lot of pieces, so you need to have a designated bin or bag to keep track of everything. 2)The super-awesome velcro can sometimes come off. It's pretty strong, but little kids do try to pick off little velcro stickers, so it might not be the greatest idea to let your older child play with this set around a roming infant or toddler. Having said all that, I really do love it and my kids are still asking to play with it even after three years.

My fifteen month old loves pulling these velcro sandwiches apart then I put them back together and the game continues on. The bread slices look pretty realistic and everything stacks and sticks together well. All of the slices are made of a hard durable plastic, which comes in handy for all of the sandwich-making and unmaking kids like to do. The details (the margarine tub with the removable lid is her favorite) and colors are adorable.
