I have twin 4 year olds and a 2 and a half year old who all love this game. They can all play at the same time. Since they're all not very good at taking turns this has worked out nicely.

Simple and Fun

The other reviews had way too high expectations. It is a simple game where the fish snap up and down in a rotating pond and you use the fishing poles to pull out as many fish as you can. It is not a Wii and only $10. What it does do is provide some simple fun, trying your hand at timing, and an amusing way to pretend you are fishing. My daughter (3 years old) and her friends like to pull this game out and just pick out as many fish as they can with the poles. Then they take the fish and cook it up in her play kitchen. Just like camping. It is all in good fun.

Too Fast

My 4 and 6 year olds try to play this and it just spins around too fast to actually catch the fish. Even I have a lot of trouble catching anything. Plus the fishing poles come apart too easily and pieces get lost. Cute idea but not very fun for the kids- just frustrating.

I loved this game when I was little and purchased this for my daughter when she was four and she loves it! Now that she's six and has a little brother in his mischevious twos the fishes/poles began to disappear here and there. So here I am making my second purchase. Fantastic educational toy which teaches timing and cordination.

I bought this toy for my then 3 yr old daughter, she's now 5 and loves it still. Our 2 year old even enjoys it. It's simple enough for everyone to understand and even if they can't coordinate enough with the poles they can use their fingers or hold the pole lower down. Honestly, our whole family loves playing this game with the kids. It's probably the only game they haven't lost any pieces to, we couldn't play with a missing fish!!!

I had to write a positive review for this little game because my son(3) and daughter(1.5) both love it. It's nothing fancy or complex, but they have spent hours taking the fish out, putting them back, etc. My son use to carry one around everywhere he went. Unfortunately, we lost the old one during a recent move, so I plan to buy a second. It's a hit with us.

Could NOT be more poorly made!

If I could have given this toy 0 stars, I would have. The toy goes around too fast, all of the poles but one broke within the first few days and the majority of the fish broke within the first month. What a piece of garbage.

I got this from my dad as a kid about 15 yrs ago and LOVED it so much that I bought it for my baby so she can play it when she gets a little older. My old toy never had any problems - it’s the same model. It was very entertaining, even when I played alone.

CUTE IDEA, BUT MADE POORLY

I ended up getting this at Target on sale [...], so for that price I guess I got my money's worth. It is poorly made but then most toys are now days. It is cute, but not as easy to catch the fish as you would think, it can get kind of frustrating for small children. The fishing poles get stuck in the fishies mouths and then come apart when you try and take them out. It is a cute idea, but not much fun and not durable.
