Wood surfaces, especially the all-important top, are partially warped; this means that about half of the cam-locks don't lock. Also, I found poor assembly, split wood from screws driven in sideways, parts that just don't line up, twisted metal runners, bad packing from manufacturer. The instructions are easy to understand, but...if the thing is unusable, so what? All this is unfortunate, as this is a very nice-looking desk. POORLY manufactured, and it is hard to get Target to do refund/pick-up. I really wanted to like this desk, too.

This came in great shape and was easy to assemble. It looks beautiful in the room, along with the bookcase and end table. We wanted to go for a serene, minimalist decor and added bamboo, monochromatic deep brown walls with this natural desk, then added a pale green in the drapes and other touches around the room. It gets a lot of compliments from all our guests. My daughter liked it so much she's done the same thing in her home! The desk and bookcase are the centerpieces of the room and it is really beautiful with the right decor. I recommend this to anyone if you are looking for a slightly smaller sized desk and like Mission or Arts & Crafts styles. It would also look great with Art Deco...which is really a mix of the first two designs ramped up a bit.

When I received this desk the top part was terribly warped making it next to impossible to put together. It just doesn't fit together well at all. It would look nice if the top didn't wasn't the shape of an arc.

If you are looking for a large desk, this is not for you. But it is a good size for a student. Easy to assemble like all of the other pieces in Target's Mission collection. The whole collection is priced so well, you can get the desk, book case, and printer stand for less than $250. If you are looking for solid wood and simplicity, this is the choice for you.

This desk takes two people to assemble but it is really nice quality and very sturdy! I only wish there was more drawer space.

I RECIEVED MY COMPUTER DESK TODAY, LOVE THE WOOD, LOVE THE COLOR, LOVED HOW EASY IT WAS TO PUT TOGETHER.....I ALSO ORDERED 4 BOOK CASES, WHICH I HAVE SAT SIDE BY SIDE, AND IT LOOKS REALLY CUTE FOR A BEDROOM/OFFICE.

Received the delivery of this fine mission desk yesterday. A very clean, effecient, practical, and sturdy piece. Easy to put together...I bought 2 CD shekves (to use as book shelves) as well. Happy with the quality, happy with the price.

I brought this desk because I decided to buy the matching book case. It was very easy to assemble and once it's put together it looks very nice. Very roomy too!

I cannot say enough good things about this desk. It was very easy to put together and I ended up with a really nice piece of furniture! Start to finish this was great. Two really nice guys helped me in Target pull this piece from the shelf and load into my car, Thank You. Once I got home this took maybe an hour to put together. The instructions were great and the packaging was excellent! All the hardware was in an nice little plastic tray that was easy to identify and use. And "HELLO!!!" Somebody finally thought it was worth the extra two cents to include one extra of each screw, nut, etc. KUDOS to Target for that! This was by far the easiest piece of RTA furniture I've ever purchased and Target has won me over with it. It looks great, the price was very reasonable and the assembly and end product are something that I really loved. Thanks again, and I would definitely recommend this product.

I think this desk is great!, I also purchased the printer stands ( two of them) to put on either side of the desk, I've also purchased the sofa table and end tables in the same style and material. Looks great all the time, a quick wipe or dust. But, a feature that I thought you might be interested in is that this furniture is made of rubberwood and lo and behold if you get ink or permanent marker on the surfaces it is easily removed with a pencil eraser if you go with the wood grain. AMAZING!! I have removed Marker and ink in the past and meant to write a review, but I had to remove highlighter yesterday ( green and yellow) and it came off quickly with the eraser. And yes I have considered a job in putting these pieces together for people HA HA
