I love this mat and so does my baby! We started her on it at 8 weeks and at that point she still didn't have much hand-eye coordination. However, she loved looking in the mirror and starring up at the toys. At about 3 months she started grabbing and playing with the toys and simply loves it. Since then, she spends at least two hours a day on this mat - so few things really keep the attention of little ones as this! Not only does she have fun, but I see her hand-eye coordination improving. She has also learned to roll over on this mat and uses it for tummy-time and strengthening her neck and arms. I also see her trying to learn to crawl on this mat and she is only 4.5 months! The textures are great, the mat is really soft and cushy and I have to say that I enjoy the music. Great product!

My baby is 5 and a half months old and has really enjoyed this toy since she was about two and a half months old. I think she enjoys it even more now. She spends about thirty minutes on it each evening as I make dinner. She loves to "talk" to her animal friends that hang from above. When she rolls over, she like to hear the music and watch the lights in the mat. She loves the noise the cellophane in one of the pieces makes, too. We've even started sitting her up to play with the animals and she still loves it. I've often said to my husband that this was worth EVERY penny!

I got this gym as a shower present from a relative who said it was highly recommended to her. i popped it open and put my daughter on it on our third day home from the hospital, immediatly she was amused. within a week she was already reaching for the animals and looking at herself in the mirror. she is now 4 months old and this gym is her favorite toy. she loves the bright colors, sounds, lights, and textures. she plays on it everyday. she also loves it for tummy time and to practice rolling over. many days she plays on it so long that she falls asleep. The tiny love gym is also durable. it has survived being shoved under the couch and being jammed into the car while evacuating for hurricanes. i HIGHLY recommend it.

We love this tummy time mat! My 2 month old loves to watch the lights and look at the animals above. Its a big mat and it folds up easily. I know we will be using this a lot in the months to come!

I am so glad we bought the gymini. Our son loves it! We put the crinkle pull down elephant near the middle, it's one of his favorites! He also loves to chew on the giraffe's feet. He loves the mirror and the mat is large enough that he can even still use it now that he's started to roll some. One of the top baby items we bought!

My 3 month old likes this toy alot. She has a great time grabbing at the animals (the purple elephant is her favorite). It has definitely helped her develope her hand-eye coordination. However, She has barely started using it and the lights/music do not work correctly. The music sometimes will not play at all and the push buttons don't work.

This is such a great mat. Each toy has a unique fun quality. We take the monkey and giraffe down all the time for individual play - they're the right size for their little hands. My twins yank (and hang) on the toys and the mat keeps ticking.

I was crossing my fingers praying that my daughter would love this. I got it for her as a christmas gift. At three months then she absolutely loved it! Four months she got more physically involved grabbing the animals and putting them in her mouth. She's five months now, and she tries to kick them. The lights are a major plus, it is helping her learn to roll over. The squeaks and crinkle toys in the animals on the mat stimulate her senses. This toy comes highly recommended from someone who does research before they by developmental toys! She has two fisher price mats she got as shower gifts and hates them. Being able to add or move the overhead pieces is a plus!

Great mat except for the music! Music sounds out of tune - Mozart was not meant to sound like this! Th generic nursery song is even worse. Press the "try it" button before you buy it to see if you can accept the sound of the music. Other than this, the mat has been great for my daughter from 2 to 5 mos. and counting.
