MY SON LOVES IT! December 8, 2008 Reviewer:  Si'sMom See all my reviews >

My son received this toy as a 1st birthday gift, and he loves it! He loves to bang on the drum with the drumsticks and shake the tambourine and jingle bells. The toy is great for teaching cause and effect, and since 3 of the instruments are also shaped like the letters A-C, we can start him on letters too! A fantastic toy!

Great toy especially for the price November 23, 2008 Reviewer:  anisiasmom See all my reviews >

My daughter received this as a gift for her first birthday, when i opened it she started playing right away. Of coarse her favorite is the drum sticks, which she likes to hit everything with. The only problem is the lid, she likes to try and step on it, so its starting to crack, i can see that being a potential problem.

Best Gift EVER! November 10, 2009 Reviewer:  LilShopper "SDLiz" (San Diego, California)  See all my reviews >

This is an EXCELLENT Toy! Perfect for a boy or a girl. Makes a great gift for 1 year old so they can grow with it but perfect for any age. Especially since there is a lot of different instruments they can share and perform little band and the drum can be placed on the floor and then when they get older they can march with it...I have had it for over 3 years and still in awesome condition every child enjoys playing with it.

perfect for baby, moms buy some tylenol on the way out October 28, 2009 Reviewer:  MomOf2 "Ashley S" (Pittsburgh, PA)  See all my reviews >

Just bought this for my daughter's birthday, and she and my toddler love it. The one in this pic is a little different though.. the one I got has a yellow strap and only has the drum sticks, bee maraca, and tambourine (sp). Plus it was only $... in the store, and came with free subscription to Parents magazine.

10-16 years old and still holding strong! September 16, 2009 Reviewer:  New Mom in Roanoke See all my reviews >

I had the good fortune of working for FAO Schwarz when this item first came on the market. At that time, I bought it for one of my sister's children (hence, the range in years old since I'm not sure which child.) Since that time, it has been played with and loved and now given back to me with the birth of my child this year. The set is still in excellent condition and my 8 month old just found out how much fun it is to beat on a drum. Talk about a gift that is worth the money. If your child loves music (and who doesn't?) then this should definitely be your choice.

Where is ladybug? July 23, 2009 Reviewer:  Kika (Philadelphia, PA)  See all my reviews >

I am very dissapointed with this TOY. I got these musical instruments a year ago for my nice for her b-day , she loved it. Yesterday I went to Target to get the same toy for my 11 months old daughter for her b-day. I opened it today, and was very surprise....Ladybug instrument was missing....I started to look in all papers and on line...to check what is going on....Everybody is still advertising this toy with ladybug, but ladybug is not included anymore...and price went up. What? I am taking the toy back to the store. I feel like to call local TV and put that in the NEWS. This is cheating.

Agree with other reviews May 16, 2009 Reviewer:  Lizz R "Lizz R" (Madison, WI)  See all my reviews >

I agree with the other reviews! This is a GREAT toy, but the advertising stinks. The little girl I used to watch has this toy, and LOVED it, so I purchased it for my 7 month old son. I'm glad I read the reviews before opening his though, b/c it still advertises as having FIVE instruments, when it really only has 4 now. The ladybug xylaphone was one of our favorites, and it looks like they no longer include that in the set. I haven't decided if I will be keeping this toy yet or not. I'm VERY disappointed.

The ladybug Xylophone is not included :-( March 25, 2009 Reviewer:  mom of a 1yr old "~ I" (IL)  See all my reviews >

Wow the makers of this toy raised the price and removed the best instrument (ladybug Xylophone). I purchased the set without realizing that and now I’m probably stuck with it because I had opened it. I’m considering just putting it back together and taking it back, I feel cheated.

Awesome toy! February 4, 2009 Reviewer:  N. Harris "Juliette's mom" Real Name (Southern MD)  See all my reviews >

Ok, so I let my 9-month old play with the instruments ( under supervison only!) She loves the sounds of the instruments. She doesn't use the drumsticks or the ladybug xylephone yet, but she loves to shake the other toys and to beat the drum with her hand. I would not recommend allowing a small baby to play with this toy unsupervised because although the toys are well made and do not seem as though they would break, there are some small pieces (ladybug antennae) and jingle bells that baby could put in the mouth. ... (at 1-year-old now my daughter still loves the shakers. She is beginning to get the concept of the drumsticks. Still not giving her the ladybug becacuse I don't want her biting the antennae off. I can't wait to have parades through the house!)
