Pretty dresser for a cheap price

I bought this dresser about 2 years ago and wouldn't trade it for any other dresser. The main reason is because I spent hours painting it. I loved the shape of it, but wanted a gold dresser. I sponge painted it with several shades of gold and painted the top and the handles one solid shade of gold. It looks one-of-a-kind. The assembly was very easy as long as you are use to putting your furniture together. The down side to this dresser is that the drawers are very shallow and the third one down has a piece of wood above it so you cannot put much in that drawer. My legs are still together after several moves, but this isn't a dresser you can just slide around when you want to move it. You have to take all the drawers out and then lift it up.

People are expecting miracles from this little guy. It is a nice little dresser that looks good, holds clothes, and is easy to put together. I put it together in about 3-4 hours. Drink a beer, listen to music, and put it together. Just make sure you don't mess up with an electric drill and overtighten. All this complaining about it is not needed. It is sturdy enough, but is a little flimsy. What do you want for the price?? Buy this thing and enjoy!

I have purchased many other, "inexpensive, particle board furniture," but this has got to be the worst. The first time I've actually lost it with this chest.
It looks cute on the box, but don't be fooled. I have it repacked and ready to return to the store. Purchased from a local Target, it wasn't broken or damaged when I opened the box... the trouble came with the drawer assembly. Just wouldn't fit well, and to use the proper amount of pressure to make things fit, the drawer broke. I spent about 45 minutes trying to get 1 drawer secure. Basically this means some misaligned cuts/drills from the factory's mass production line.
This is for a child's room, but a tall piece of particle board with thin, 1" legs is a joke... I should've known better in the first place. I'd rather pay more for a nice, solid piece of furniture that will last many, many years.

My husband and I love the look, but we hate the fact that we can't get the pine color anymore. We purchased the armoire and the dresser for our daughter when she was born. We wanted to get the mirror and the other dresser, but we can't get it in the same color. All we can get is white or amber butternut. some advice...get everything at one time b/c you may not be able to get the rest of the same set again.

We recently bought this dresser for our 2 year old daughter. We brought it home from the store and spent less than 2 hours putting it together, following the instructions. Everything went smoothly. I hand painted the nobs to give the dresser some cute character and so far we like it.

I have put together a LOT of this sort of furniture & followed all of the directions for this chest. However, the drawers never pulled in & out easily & after less than 2 weeks the screws on the drawer rails ripped out of the wood & left such gaping holes that I can't put them back. It is now virtually worhtless. And I had socks & underwear in one drawer & scarves in another. It's dreadful - I'd expected much more from this line of furniture & am very disappointed.

Hi, hope this comes in handy.
For putting things together such as this dresser and other items you might just get yourself a cordless screwdriver.
I have one and in no time this cute dresser was put together.
For the price this is a handy, cute dresser. You can't expect much for that price..come on!
But I'm very pleased with it.
Ours had no damage and the doors did fit.
I'm very pleased.

I LOVE this piece for my little girl's room! Eventhough it is a little on the small side, the quality and studiness are great. I see that others have had problems, but maybe they have improved the quality over the last year because I am very happy. The assembly is a little intense, but well worth your time and money! I also purchased the PEarl headboard and it is a perfect match!

My husband and I bought 2 of these for our bedroom and, yes they were a pain to put together but we have had no problems with them at all. They look great, the drawers move in and out on a very smooth track and are sturdy enough that we put a 27 inch tv on one of them.

This is not a project for anybody who can't follow instructions. While the instructions are not complicated, you must follow all 20+ steps as they are stated. It's like a big lego set, with all of the pieces eventually interconnecting. But the final product is great, and should last for years to come.
