My parents bought the armoir and the long chest of drawers (which we use for a changing table) when I was pregnant with my son. Both pieces took about 30 mins each to put together and looked great when finished. We went ahead and put braces on the legs because it was going to be in a child's room. The furniture has been moved twice in the last year with no problems! The drawers slide easily and hold a lot more than I expected. We have received several compliments from people that have seen it in our sons room. We will soon brace both pieces to the wall as our son is moving around quite a bit now. We love both pieces and the price is unbeatable!

I've had this armoire for my son for 2 years now and have had no problems. It was purchased before he was born and he is now 2- he opens and closes the drawers and cabinet from time to time and it's still great!

We bought this for my daughters room. Within 6-mo the bottom of the bottom drawer fell out. She is only 2 and her clothes can not weight that much. Then the leg snapped off the front of the bottom drawer and eventually fell off. Now the door won't close all the way. A major waste of money. I wish I could get mine back.

I purchased this armoire to use in my scrapbook room for storage.

I LOVE this piece. Took approx 50 minutes to put together.

Zero complaints!! No broken pieces/No missing pieces.

I am not sure this piece would hold up to a child climbing on, but it is holding up perfectly holding lots of cardstock, tools, scrapbook books, etc!! :)

LOVE this piece and looking forward to completing my area with more by this company!!

I bought this in november 2005. I finally put it together in December.In January the top drawer fell apart, followed by the very bottom drawer. The drawers basically held light weight things such as socks etc, so there is no way this should have happend. I am very dissapointed and would say if you buy this you are throwing away good money

I just bought two of these on clearance for my daughters, aged 15 and 11... I definately would not pay full price for these. Set up was easy but time consuming. I admit that the drawers are not 100% perfect but I do not expect perfection from a clearance priced, assembly required, piece of furniture. So,these dressers are very cute and functional and I would recommend these for older kids. I would also recommend using the wall brace for younger children. Overall, this piece is not as bad as some of the reviews. Hopefully they'll last a little while.

I recieved this as a gift when I was pregnant with my son two years ago. After my husband put it together everything was crooked. I had to go back and make my own holes to get everything straight. Then when moving it to the bedroom the legs broke off. I called the company to get the problem fixed and without the receipt they wouldn't help me. So I was stuck with a piece of junk.

I bought this for my children's room 3 years ago. Unlike some of the other reviews, when bought, this item's pieces were all in excellent condition. It is still like new and is super sturdy. It holds many of their clothes...the bottom drawer holds all of their jeans and shows no signs of weakening. Very nice piece for the price.

This is a terrible piece of furniture. Sure it looks pretty and pleasant from the pictures but once you actually get it together, it's a piece of trash. None of the pieces fit together right so you have these big gaps between each piece of wood. The drawers and the door don't fit right( they're all crooked). Also the big drawer is too small for the tracks on the on the piece itself, it hasnt stopped wobbling since we started, and none of the holes are in the right spots so if you use the holes they give you, you would just have a big crooked mess. I would highly advise you to pick another piece of furniture for your home.

I got this item,as well as 2 night stands and the taller 6 drawer dress. I adore this set, it looks wonderful in my pink/white room. While it isn't some fancy collectors item, it gets the job done, and looks great. I read alot of complaints about them falling on children...what wouldn't fall if a 70 lb kid was climbing on it?? Even a high-end piece could/would fall. I didn't personally have any assembly problems, and the legs have held my phone, tv,clothes and such for more than a year now. So, no its not a toy for your children to climb on,but it is a good collection for a bedroom that isn't doubling as a jungle gym. hope that helps...angry parents should watch their children more, it hasn't anything to do with the product.
