It was a breeze to put together but make sure your cordless drill is fully charged! There are a lot of screws with this piece. It looks like it won't hold much, but looks are definitly deceiving in this case. It holds a TON! The only negative thing I can add is that I was disappointed in the brown backing. I would have thought that the manufacturer would have painted at least one side of the backing white to match the rest of the armoire. Other then that one issue, it's really a great piece.

I purchased this a few weeks ago to add another storage piece in a bedroom. The instructions were clear, all the pieces were in fine condition and it took me about 4 hours to put together. Compared to other self-assembled furniture pieces from other makers that I have purchased before, this piece is far better quality. The other reviewer is correct about the instructions warning about sliding the furniture compromising the leg structure. If other purchasers broke the legs off while sliding this piece around, it is their own fault, not the quality of this item.

I HAD PURCHASED TWO ARMOIRES THE LEG ON ONE BROKE COMPLETELY
OFF. WAS NOT ABLE TO RETURN IT. WHEN I WENT TO THE STORE WHERE
I PURCHASED THIS ITEM. I NOTICED THEY HAD A BRACE ON THE LEG
OF THE ARMOIRE. NEEDLESS TO SAY I NEVER PUT THE OTHER ARMOIRE
TOGETHER. I GAVE IT AWAY. THE UNIT IS ALSO VERY HEAVY AND HARD
TO PUT TOGETHER.

I bought all of the pieces of the Country Lane furniture set from my Target store. I am a female and put all the pieces together in one weekend. The directions were very easy to follow and only needed a few tools. I am so pleased with my purchase and I know I saved a lot of money. The furniture is very sturdy and if you're concerned about tipping it even comes with an anti tipping strap that makes it even sturdier. And not to mention the color of this furniture is beautiful!!

I bought this armoire thinking it was a charming country look at a great price for my daughter's room. I had to move it to paint the walls, and when I did, two of the legs snapped off. So much for a great deal! They used particle board for the legs, a really bad idea. You are so much better off going to a real furniture store and buying a quality piece that won't break when you try to move it.

Being a recent college student and living in a college dorm for the last year and a half, i finally got a place of my own. I decided I'd break from the frat atmosphere of my old college dorm and go for a more homely-settled down feel. I purchased this for myself this previous Christmas, and It's great, sturdy, i keep all my baseball caps, gym shorts, and sweaters in it. Legs didn't break because i followed instructions when i assembled it.

I LOVE IT!!! I have had it for about a year and a half and have never seen another armoire I like better! (Even expensive ones!) I love the french country/shabby chic style and it looks beautiful against my soft blue walls. OF COURSE it isn't as sturdy as a $600 armoire, but for pajamas, lounge clothes, and undergarments in the drawers, it's perfectly fine! Inside the door there is a small shelf with my VCR/DVD and all of my movies/ DVD's are below! I love it so much I got the 'dresser w/drawers' too! GET THEM ON SALE AT YOUR LOCAL TARGET! THEY GO ON SALE PERIODICALLY FOR A LITTLE OVER 100 BUCKS!!!

We bought this for my daughters room. It took us four hours to put this together and in the end there were a few knobs missing. Along with it taking forever to assemble, the directions were horrible. The armoire was shaky and unsafe. If one drawer opened the all opened, and it would lean foward. Needless to say the threw it out shortly after we got it.

I am pleased with this dresser. It is not top quality but I was looking for something reasonably priced and looked nice. I use it in my own bedroom (adult) and it is spacious and sturdy. You can change the knobs, as others have done, to make it look nicer. Putting it together was simple and the instructions were easy to follow. Overall I'm very pleased with it.
