I bought this thinking it would be a short term transitional piece. I was surprised how nice it looks. I have even had friends ask if I bought this at a higher-end retailer. Anyway, it was HARD to put together! My husband, me and a drill spent 4 hours putting it together. If you or a friend/husband is very handy, it will take less time. For the price, it was worth it. I bought a dozen lilac flower drawer pulls for $5 on Ebay to make it perfect for a little girls room. I also recommend attaching it to the wall to prevent tip overs, especially if used in a child's room! Overall, a nice piece for the $ and the company who makes it is a division of Thomasville...I think!

I read many reviews about this item seeming small, but it was plenty roomy for the pet supply storage I wanted to use it for. The bottom drawer is quite large. It's a well made product, not flimsy, and although I read a review where someone said they had to buy better screws for this item I found all the hardware that came with the item to be more than adequate. It did take a couple of hours to assemble, time consuming yes, difficult no. One of the clearest most understandable set of instructions I've ever used. Looks extremely beautiful. If you get it wet though, do what I do and wipe it dry immediately or it will warp. I highly recommend this product!

I bought this about 2 weeks ago and i enjoy it. I was nervous at first b/c many reviews said that pieces of the wood were broken when they got it, but I had no problems. I put it together myself, and being a rather petite women it wasn't that difficult. The only thing was that it seemed to take FOREVER to put together. The only other complaint i have is that it is smaller than it seems in the picture, but the measurements are provided. Overall, I would recommend this.

I read many reviews of people not liking the armoire, but I went ahead and bought it and I love it. Even though it took a couple of hours to put together, it turned out great!

I FIRST BOUGHT THE 5 DRAWER CHEST THEN I BOUGHT THE ARMOIRE, AND NOW I JUST BOUGHT THE NIGHTSTANDS TO COMPLETE MY BEDROOM THEY LOOK REALLY NICE AND THEY DID NOT TAKE ME A LONG TIME TO PUT THEM TOGETHER MY HUSBAND LOVES THEM AS WELL THIS IS GREAT COLLECTION TO HAVE THEY LOOK REALLY GOOD AND WHEN I OPEN THE DOOR TO MY BEDROOM THE SMELL OF WOOD IS SO NICE. I REALLY RECOMMEND THESE PRODUCTS TO EVERYONE EVEN THE PRICE IS JUST RIGHT

We bought this dresser for our daughter in March 2003. As soon as we got the whole dresser put together, the particle board leg broke. Called the company and got a replacement part which meant that most of the dresser had to come apart and be put back together again. Did it. Seven months later, the leg broke again. Called the company, who offered another replacement part. NO THANKS, I'd like a refund. The don't do refunds, Target is responsible. Called Target. They won't refund money because it's out of their 90 day return policy. A bunch of B.S. Called company again, It's no one's problem but mine is what they say.

DO NOT BUY THIS!!! NO ONE WILL STAND BEHIND A PIECE OF CRAP FURNITURE THAT THEY HAVE ALLREADY MADE MONEY OFF OF!!!!

While I love the look of this armoire, it was impossible to put together and the first time we went to move it, the back leg broke off. The drawers have come apart are sagging. I am so disapointed in this product - I would not recommend buying it.

The assembly was typical for a peice of furniture like this. It took me just under an hour. For the price, it's a wonderful piece of furniture. if you have a small room or a small amount of items to store in it, it's perfect. overall i have been very satisfied and even went out and purchased the matching piece. well worth the money.

We purchased the armoire and the night stand from a local store.
I didn't make my husband aware of the "mixed reviews". He pleasantly assembled both pieces, (the night table first)while watching football. I was holding my breath. Not a complaint was made. It took approx. 2 hrs for both pieces. My 4 yr old loves her new furniture and we are quite satisfied as well. I am wondering, why did they cost, together, 45.00 more at the store?

This dresser was very hard to put together. It took well over and hour, and it still wasnt perfect. I had it just about the way I wanted it and then I noticed that it was tilted to where it looked like if you touched it, it would fall. But I still tried to just see how it worked with all the clothes in it...BAD IDEA! About 3 months later it fell apart and the legs broke off. So now pretty much all i have is a piece of wood in my bedroom that doesnt even hold clothes.
